Debate is expected at the meeting about the standing in the conference of Reps. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., and Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga. Cheney angered many of her fellow Republicans with a vote to impeach former President Trump, triggering a push by some of the Trump loyalists in the conference to remove her as the conference chair. And intense focus is on Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., over Greene. The GOP leader Tuesday had his long-awaited, in-person talk with Greene – who's shown little if any remorse for previously espousing conspiracy theories. Correction*

The GOPe is approaching a Death Star explosion, and it knows it. It has been exposed as a fraud in this "impeachment" and the wake of the "deadly Capitol riot" where the only person who was confirmed to have died as a direct result was shot by the Capitol Police.
The real RINOS are the suckers who are in a perpetual state of cognitive dissonance. They confuse politics with ideology, and there is no purity in politics. They try to rationalize the re-election of Lindsey Graham, for example...apparently preferring betrayal to open opposition. Let's not forget that FPDT endorsed both Graham, and Mitt Romney. But, but they're reformed men...they said so!
Cheney will get taken care of.

Greene isn't a party leader. Cheney is. She should be removed from her leadership position because she doesn't represent the views of the party.

There have been many liberal democrats who have spewed crazy notions like over 200 million slaves thrown overboard and how the sharks are still following the shipping routes. Or how Guam would tip over if too many Marines were stationed there. I don't recall anyone having been hounded out of the House or even losing a committee assignment. If the people IN THEIR STATES want to get rid of Cheney and Greene, let it be decided in 2022 at their polling places.

#4 Cheney absolutely represents the views of the party, she does not represent the views of the people. Everything is going back to the pre-President Trump days. We don't know what's best for us, but don't worry the party does. The Uni-Party.

They are not comparable. Cheney should lose a political party position within the House. Greene could lose her House seat, to which she was elected by her constituents. The House should not be able to do what is contemplated. They can’t do that on one hand and on the other say they have to accept a bogus election because they “they can’t overrule the votes of all those people”…even fraudulent votes.

Who in the world died and made the GOP have say as to whom will be representing Georgia's district with Rep. Greene? Who do they think they are - she has committed no crime, not even a parking ticket - and because they don't like her opinion (I used to be called free speech), they think they can just run her out of the office that she was voted in my the American people - I tell you, if the GOP goes there - I'm guaranteed gone, for good!

The Republican Party is already dead. The Republi-Can't Party is barely holding on. And the further they distance themselves from Donald Trump and his 74,000,000 voters and countless other supporters, the closer they get to that final nail in their coffin.
This is a perfect test to see if they realize this reality or not. Continue slogging through the swamp with Looser Liz, or stand for MAGA.

I got the solution to their most pressing problem: ax cheney, promote Taylor-Greene. sounds simple to me and no complications. maybe cheney will get a seat on a committee if she switches parties. - possible, yes?
