Pete Buttigieg is the latest star to emerge from Democrats’ 2020 pack, which is no surprise since he exhibits all the tropes we have come to associate with this party in the era of its Trump derangement. On the evidence just of his attacks on Vice President Mike Pence, Buttigieg is a shameless liar, a calculating character assassin and an anti-religious/anti-free speech bigot, motivated by a virulent hatred of his political opponents, especially those who have been good to him like Pence. Buttigieg’s chosen target is one of the most decent human beings in politics, who was supportive of Buttegieg

The problem with Buttigieg is he is white. Being gay is not radical enough to win the democrat nomination.

If pete wants to teach us theology perhaps he should study John 9 "Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him."

It doesn´t matter if he was born gay, or became that way by a conscious decision to sin. Even if born that way, he could repent of his sin of living a lifestyle that God finds to be an abomination.

I nominate this for a Must-Read. Horowitz has this guy pegged. He´s a diabolical poster child for the left. Flaunting his identity rather than credentials. Attacking those who do not embrace his perversion, thereby rendering him the victim and those having a contrary viewpoint as being intolerant. He misquotes Scripture as only a diablo can. He´s dangerous, but not unconquerable. Spiritual war - indeed this is.

Portray those who disagree with you as anti-gay bigots and white supremacists and women haters, and shut down the democratic dialogue itself. That is what a one-party state is all about, and we are rapidly approaching it.

Everywhere you turn – universities, media, Hollywood, kindergarten, politics – the first amendment rights of conservatives and Republicans are being squashed. The goal is to destroy conservatism. Horowitz is correct in that this is a far worse crisis than climate change could ever be. If this kind of infringement is permitted to continue, we will be Ozymandias.

PB is an incredibly smart guy and shouldn´t be underestimated. He comes across as reasonable and innocuous, but his calm demeanor hides a slick salesman slowly selling a sweet poison. I felt the Pence business was an inadvertent slip of the mask, but Mr. Horowitz has persuaded me otherwise; Buttigieg may prove as rapacious and calculating as Bill Clinton. He´s painted Christians as extremists. I wonder if he´s planning his own Sister Souljah moment with the extreme LGBTQ wing of the party in order to present himself as the rational centrist candidate, when he is anything but.

FTA: “Like his Democrat comrades – Booker, Harris, Warren - Buttigieg dons the shield of martyrdom, portraying himself as a persecuted minority whose suffering absolves him of responsibility for his aggressions and bad behavior.”

Posters #1 & 7 are right. This is spiritual warfare fought in the political arena. Democrats put on their coats of self-righteousness and instead of debating policy issues, want to denounce Christians for their beliefs. They accept Islamic dogma which calls for the murder of gays but automatically attack anyone they perceive as Christian. It is Christianity that sets them off, but Islam is fine. If dems want to make this about moral purity, bring it on! The vast majority of Americans are fleeing from their dictate that we must accept every perversion they embrace. Because their policies are indefensible to voters, they insist that they can win by being the morality police. Please! We know who the debauched party is and want nothing to do with their absurd promotion of what they deem acceptable. Traditional Americans do not want to live in a world governed by these Godless hedonists. From abortion to acceptance of any perversion, it is not who we are.

"Painting Christians as extremists," yes that is exactly what Buttigieg is doing.

(And to add to the absurdity, he is painting himself as the genuine Christian.)

This tactic was just tried in Wisconsin .... and it FAILED. A candidate for a judgeship named Hagedorn was vilified by the Left for his traditional Christian beliefs. Big money poured into the race from all over the country, and Hagedorn was predicted to lose. But in an "upset," he won.

Classic Marxism; Buttigieg creates a straw man out of Pence, then eviscerates the straw man. Sadly, too many American voters are bereft of brain cells to see through the pathetic debate technique.

But, Buttigieg also gets to pull a Bart Ehrman because so many Christians are utterly clueless about what is in their Bibles. "Pence has a problem with my Creator," please. Gen 18:20-19:25; Judges 19; Romans 1-2:1; Buttigieg´s Creator definitely has a problem with Buttigieg´s lifestyle (Note: Abraham begged God not to destroy Sodom. It was God who said, "Game over.") and Pence behaved biblically by not making an issue out of Buttigieg personally but demonstrating love and compassion towards him.

The faggs, gays, queeers, LGBTQRSZ´s are beginning to reach their tipping point of pushing Christians over the edge. As a RC I can tolerate and accept your queerness just don´t force me to have to accept that as normal or a standard way of living. It is NOT! Buttigieg and his/her ilk have deep sexual/mental issues not orginating from their creator but rather from their own mental illness (which of course the Creator allows for in a world of freedom). But as wide and deep is God´s forgiveness it is NOT infinite. Keep this in mind

Is Buttigieg running for President or auditioning for the lead in “La Cage aux Folles”? Listening to Mayor Pete, you would think that his gayness, others’ reactions to his gayness, and obsessive focus on sexual orientation were the critical issues confronting American voters. He wants to run against a president who sticks to jobs, the economy, national security, trade, and the ability to project military power as the meat and potato issues. Several posters have cautioned us not to underestimate Buttigieg and they might have a point in that I couldn’t underestimate him any more comprehensively than I already do.

The day the leftist and liberal Democrats nominate a White gay man for President over well known Black candidates will be the day the Democrats loose a good percentage of their very necessary Black vote.

Remember Black unemployment now is as low as it has ever been with more jobs out there for the asking then there are Black folks who really want to work and are looking for a job. That’s means a lot, and Black folks know that it is President Trump and his economic policies that are responsible for that happening.

I´m amazed how some on the right are smitten and impressed with this guy.
This article by David Horowitz hits all the right marks about Buttigieg and destroys any timid accolades he may get. Basically he´s the flavor of the month running for the VP position on the D ticket....against Pence on the Right ... both Hoosiers.
I lived in the Hoosier state for 15 years and this dude knows he will never be a senator or governor of that conservative Christian state. So he figured try for Potus, right. Everybody else is trying to make some easy money and get name recognition why not a gay man. Isn´t Cory Booker gay?

Sorry Pete, you´re too boyish and your insecurity with your orientation is showing. Also, your life inexperience is weak and most of all, you are anti Christian and anti 1st amendment.

Right now he should be watching his back from the oppo research that is being put together to destroy him by his own party.

It is a spiritual battle, one Christians are bound to win. God has taken away from Satan his soul destroying weapons of sin and guilt. Christ defeated the foe by taking away his weapons of sin and the law which could condemn us and by defeating death itself. God has given us this time to save as many as possible.
The question that then comes to mind is where are our Christian leaders. They seem to have withdrawn from the battle in order to save their precious tax-exempt status. Let the "government take it away so that they lose their buildings and must then take their message to the street. If it is war ....

There are many things that many people do -- lifestyles, if you will -- that I disagree with. Some of those people are Christians; some are not. But that does not mean their "lifestyles" are or should be illegal.

For example, I object to married people cheating on their spouses. That doesn´t mean it is or should be illegal. Other people´s affairs are none of my business. But that does not mean I cannot stand up at appropriate times and speak about how much hurt affairs cause.

I do not agree with Mike Pence re gay marriage, for example. But I still think he is and should be free to speak his mind on the matter. And I don´t think his position on the issue makes him a bigot.

"Mayor Pete" and his ilk are dangerous. When we start demonizing our political opponents because of their political or social positions, we turn them into the devil. And we cannot have conversations with them.

Whatever happened to "agree to disagree"?

FTA: “That if you got a problem with who I am your problem is not with me--your quarrel, sir, is with my Creator.” Scripture is the inerrant Word of God and the accusation by Peter Buttigieg that his homosexuality is the responsibility of our Creator cannot go unchallenged.

In Genesis 1:27, it is written that God created male and female. In Genesis 1:32, God declared His Creation “very good.” Meaning, creation had conformed to God’s intentions in the best possible way. In Genesis 19, God destroyed Sodom because of homosexuality. God’s teachings about homosexuality are written in Genesis19:5, Leviticus18:22,20:13, Deuteronomy22:5,23:18, Judges 9:22-23, Romans1:26-32, 1Corinthians6:9-10, 2Peter6-11, Jude6-8, Revelation21:5-8,22:14-15.

Without question, Judeo-Christians are in a spiritual war, schemes of the devil; not against flesh and blood, but against cosmic powers, spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:10-18)

From Genesis to Revelation, sexual immorality is an abomination to God and will be judged accordingly: “...the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8,22:14-15)

“...God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption...” (Galatians 6:7-8)

How else will he govern? Most likely he will be a lot like Obama, and we do not need another Obama. If he wants to be gay, that is his choice. I doubt many people will want a gay person shoving his personal views down their throats.

Even as the New Zealand government was condemning the Erdogan regime for using mosque shooting footage in its election rallies, the Washington Post decided to give the Islamist tyrant a platform. It was the second time in six months that The Post had given Erdogan a platform. Recep Tayyip Erdogan has prisons full of political dissidents. He has silenced the media and has tortured opponents. His brutal Islamist regime has been described as the world’s biggest jailor of journalists. It’s been estimated that a third of the world’s imprisoned journalists have been locked up by his regime. But that didn’t stop the Washington Post

Michael Moore said that Chavez used oil money to "eliminate 75 percent of extreme poverty." But now that the socialists created much more extreme poverty, I would think that progressives would realize that democratic socialism is not the route to paradise. But no, nothing convinces a dedicated socialist — or much of the media. A popular Vox video titled "The collapse of Venezuela, explained" never once mentions socialism. Instead, it says Venezuela collapsed because "oil prices plummeted in 2014 and Maduro failed to adjust." "Blaming socialism for Venezuela´s riches to rags story is grossly misleading," said Al Jazeera anchor Ryan Kohls. Venezuela didn´t collapse because

After it was revealed on Sunday that the two-year investigation conducted by special prosecutor Robert Mueller found no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, the finger pointing began. This time, the national media was under the microscope. It´s one thing to hear baldly partisan idiocy from the opposing political party and its candidates — we expect that. It´s another thing altogether when crazed accusations are being spewed by the press 24/7/365 as if they´re fact. Voices as disparate as Rich Lowry, editor-in-chief of the conservative National Review, and Glenn Greenwald, co-founding editor of the nonpartisan (but leftish) The Intercept, have

The two-year-in-the-making Mueller report has finally concluded. The main takeaways: no further indictments, no allegations of interference with the investigation and no finding of collusion with Russia. So, let´s go to the videotape. Before Robert Mueller´s report: "The bombshell revelation that U.S. officials have information that suggests Trump associates may have colluded with the Russians means we must pause the entire Trump agenda. We may have an illegitimate President of the United States." — Rep. Ted Lieu, D-Calif., March 23, 2017. "Here you have a President who, I can tell you and guarantee you, is in collusion with the Russians to undermine our

The New York Yankees‘ anti-racism efforts have extended to pulling from their seventh-inning stretch a famous recording of the legendary Kate Smith singing “God Bless America.” Not because anyone has complained that the song is racist, but because Smith recorded other racially-insensitive standards from and during the Jim Crow era. The Yankees pulled Smith’s “God Bless America” from the rotation at the start of the season, but the New York Daily News reported the reason Thursday—“the Yankees were made aware of Smith’s history of potential racism.” According to the Daily News, the “potential racism” of which

A detailed report from special counsel Robert S. Mueller III said investigators struggled with both the legal implications of investigating President Trump for possible obstruction of justice and the motives behind a range of his most alarming actions, from seeking the ouster of officials to ordering a memo that would clear his name. [SNIP] “if we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment.”

The event was billed as ‘an intimate conversation with Michelle Obama’. And as the former US first lady strolled onstage in a loose silk trouser suit, her fans may well have thought they’d been invited to a pyjama party. Mrs Obama – more often seen in glamorous dresses at black-tie events – slipped into something more comfortable to promote her memoir Becoming in Paris. (Photo) She teamed her orange-striped suit with open-toe heels and hoop earrings. The mother of two, 55, spoke of her ‘disbelief’ at the blaze in the city’s Notre Dame cathedral. MSNBC political analyst Zerlina Maxwell criticized conservative-leaning Christians for not being "kinder" and said that South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is "demonstrating how to actually be a Christian," after the 2020 presidential hopeful shrugged off protesters in Iowa last night. "I think that we are going to see a number of protests. Anti-abortion protesters are going to show up at events throughout this primary," she said on MSNBC Live. "I have no doubt. So I think it´s a test for Democrats, including Mayor Pete, about how they can handle that type of direct adversity."

A frank discussion turned nasty at an Ohio gas station where a quartet allegedly accused of stealing hot dogs went on a rampage. Four women were caught on video attacking a man with everything they could get their hands on when he stepped in to stop them from beating up another female customer, according to Cam Dancy, who posted the video on YouTube and spoke to Cleveland’s 19 News. “I know the video makes it look like he was trying to fight them, but they were actually jumping him,” Dancy said. “They were throwing trash cans and the windshield

Former Arizona Republican Sen. Jeff Flake will not back President Donald Trump’s re-election and will likely support the Democratic nominee, he said in an appearance on CBS This Morning Wednesday. The frequent critic of Trump is a regular on the network morning show, hosting a segment called “Flake’s Take.” The discussion began with the announcement that Republican Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld would challenge President Trump in 2020 for the GOP nomination, about which Flake remarked “I hope he’s not the last Republican to enter the field.” When asked if he was going to support President Trump in 2020, Flake was

On Tuesday, appearing at a town hall at the University of Virginia, former congressman and current presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke offered a typically egocentric answer when asked why he donated so little money to charity: the audience should understand the sacrifice he’s making running for president. (Video) The Dallas Morning News reported that Maura Nakahata, a senior majoring in chemistry with a minor in government, asked O’Rourke why if he made seven times what her sister made, she gave more money to charity than O’Rourke. As Jenna Johnson of The Washington Post reported, O’Rourke responded loftily: I’ve served in office since

During an on-air appearance Thursday, CNN host Chris Cuomo said that he wasn’t “going to let” people say that establishment media outlets, including his own, were misleading the public on the Trump-Russia story. “I’m not going to let people say that, you know, CNN or the media, or whatever, have been creating a false narrative,” Cuomo declared. “This report is plenty of proof that the questions that have been asked repeatedly were legit and that the answers we were getting consistently were not, especially once you get past the line of, ‘Hey, are you a felon?’ Once you move past

Attorney George Conway, husband of White House aide Kellyanne Conway, called on Congress to remove President Donald Trump from office following the Thursday release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report. “What the Mueller report disturbingly shows, with crystal clarity, is that today there is a cancer in the presidency: President Donald J. Trump,” Conway wrote in a Washington Post opinion-editorial. “Congress now bears the solemn constitutional duty to excise that cancer without delay.” The frequent Trump critic went on to argue that Mueller’s findings lay out how the president committed wrongdoing disqualifying him from the presidency. “The investigation that Trump tried to interfere
