An intelligence failure
Power Line, by Scott Johnson

Original Article

Appearing on MSNBC a little over two weeks ago, former Obama administration CIA Director John Brennan foresaw a raft of indictments going to the heart of Robert Mueller’s investigation. Brennan was of course a participant in the peddling of alleged Russia collusion with the Trump campaign from the top of the Obama administration. Since his departure from office, Brennan has revealed himself as a rabid left-wing partisan. In the video below, Brennan seems to be salivating over the prospect he envisioned. Obama knew how to pick ’em. He didn’t have to fight rearguard battles with the senior officers of his own

Bad citizen Brennan, reputed to be a closeted Muslim, was probably Obama´s biggest scoundrel, his worst appointment. He should be prosecuted for treason and locked up forever.

Obama´s senior intelligence appointments were as corrupt as senior officials in his DOJ and FBI.

I agree with OP that Brennan should be prosecuted and sent to jail, along with James Clapper.

This was all part of obama´s attempt to transform the nation. It was partially successful, I worry that all the corruption will nerve be found or excised. Hopefully with the investigation completed Trump can get back to the effort of clearing the scum from the swamp.

You mean they´re ALL lying traitors?

For there to be a failure, something must be functional to begin with. I don´t credit Brennen with intelligence to begin with. He remains the stupid, corrupt hack he has always been.

To use both John Brennan and intelligence in the same sentence is an oxymoron.

AUGUSTA, Ga. — In a comeback for the ages, Tiger Woods reached the pinnacle of his return to the game by winning his fifth green jacket and 15th major championship Sunday in the 83rd edition of the Masters. Staring at the abyss just two years ago when he was bedridden and thinking his career was over due to a painfully disorderly back, Woods was stoic and steady throughout the week at Augusta National Golf Club despite the roars echoing through the Georgia pines. With a final-round 2-under-par 70 in his Sunday red mock turtleneck, Woods won on these hallowed grounds for the

I’m no fan of English politicians. Born a Rhodesian, I consider myself a casualty, having been on the receiving end of their deceit and moral cowardice when they deemed it expedient to abandon principle, promises, and their own kith and kin, simply because the world suddenly decided that Europeans had no right to be in Africa. But watching the shambles unfold at Westminster is not something I celebrate. If the English got nothing else right, they were the absolute masters of good governance. Thanks in no small way to them, the structures of government and law they introduced to countries

Despite its many falterings and regressions, the Judeo-Hellenic-Christian West over the long and tortuous course of its evolution has produced the most advanced civilization known to history. Characterized by the rule of law, scientific discovery, technological invention, educational opportunity for the masses, economic prosperity, individual autonomy and relative freedom from the harsh exactions of nature, it is now collapsing under the attack of forces rising from within its own existential frontiers. Its internal assailants are myriad: domestic Marxism, “social justice,” global warming, Islam in its various avatars, anti-Semitism and hatred of Christianity, anti-white bigotry, educational decline, media malfeasance, and economic

The arrest of Julian Assange by British authorities was met with nearly unanimous hosannas by U.S. politicians who gave their requisite soundbites cum gravitas on Capitol Hill Thursday. The self-styled journalist, they almost all said, should be extradited to the U.S. as quickly as possible to face the proverbial music for having exposed state secrets of our country — or at least the Democratic Party. Well, not exactly that — more accurately for having conspired with former U.S. intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning to download classified databases, a legal distinction. Ironically, not a peep has been heard from the same people

Socialists know that one way they can get their preferred candidate into office is to frighten people until they will do anything in order to feel safe. It is human nature to prefer a stable and predictable environment so that plans can be made for the future, whether it is tomorrow or ten years from now. Chaos produces increased fear. A calm, steady leader who promises to produce a stable and safe environment is going to get a following. Current Democratic candidates for the presidency may think they are promising a stable and morally superior society, sans walls and reducing

Do not be surprised when college presidents say, "I oppose free speech on college campuses," or law deans say that President Trump’s executive order to require free speech on campuses is "unconstitutional." The reason is simple: college and university administrators and professors do not believe in free speech and do not wish to hear it in their institutions. The opposition to free speech is a consequence of a different classification of speech in higher education: There is correct speech, and there is hate speech. Correct speech is about gender, racial, sexual, and ethnic oppression and victimhood, and the "social justice"

They say money is the mother´s milk of politics, but for the Democrats the true mother´s milk is racism—that is the perception thereof. Without the belief that America is a racist country, specifically against blacks but generally against any other group they can claim to be vulnerable, the party would cease to exist, dissolving into a puddle like the Wicked Witch of the West in the "Wizard of Oz." That is why they work so hard to preserve this sense of a country suffused with racism, fanning the flames at every turn to make it so, even when it isn´t.
