Judge rules against Trump drilling plans
because they ignore climate change

Washington Post, by Juliet Eilperin and Brady Dennis

Original Article

A federal judge ruled that the Interior Department violated federal law by failing to take into account the climate impact of its oil and gas leasing in the West. The decision late Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras in the District of Columbia marks the first time the Trump administration has been held to account for the climate impact of its energy agenda, and it could have sweeping implications for the president’s plan to boost fossil fuel production across the country. Contreras concluded that Interior’s Bureau of Land Management “did not sufficiently consider climate change” when making decisions to auction

Comments:
Obama appointee judge ("no such thing," retorts Judge Judas Roberts) decides that climate change, pygmy ponies, and unicorns were neglected when formulating the environmental impact statement, so down it goes.

Not to mention Santa and moderate Muslims.

What the Hlll does a fed judge know about climate change to say it wasn’t sufficiently considered. Judges are getting as political as the 2 parties.

FAKE NEWS - who was president when these leases were granted?

Washington D.C. district court judge, Rudolph Contreras, ruled Tuesday that the Bureau of Land Management failed to address climate change impacts when it leased about 300,000 acres of Wyoming land to oil and gas companies in 2015 and 2016 for potential drilling.

What facts, evidence and laws were the basis for this judicial ruling?

Pathetic that a judge can make a ruling based on an opinion, rather than a fact based on evidence. It is amazing and remarkable that this unproven belief has become so widespread. Otherwise sensible, intelligent people believe in this fancy utterly. Will they live long enough to see their belief disproven? So far, we are about thirty years past the end of the world. They would be better employed worrying about an asteroid or nuclear war.

The initial ruling in the case brought by two advocacy groups, WildEarth Guardians and Physicians for Social Responsibility,

this is regarding 300,000 acres of Wyoming land.

So, how will those two advocacy groups make up for the lost revenues, taxable incomes and other multiplier financial effects that will now be lost to Wyoming, and others affected that would have supplied parts, labor, transportation and other inputs?

IF the decision was made with an EIS, and IF the scoping document failed to consider climate impact, AND if comments on the draft EIS pertaining to climate change were suppressed, then the Judge was right.
However, if the EIS analysis is simply not acceptable to the climate warming faction AFTER being addressed in the FINAL EIS, the ruling is faulty and will be overturned.

If this (among other "Obama" decisions") does not elucidate the degree of SABOTAGE inflicted upon the American people by an Obama-agenda-driven judiciary, nothing will. The radical transformation of America by junk-science-lemmings and a compliant, Obama-deprived media, is well under way. Soon the Green New Deal con-meisters will renew their climate propaganda campaign to add to the con, anticipating CONTROL of all energy use, which will involve huge money transfers to the "fortunate" few like D-science-student Gore and fossil fuel haters like Occadsional Cortex.

This is wonderful news. A court will now have to rules on the ´science´ of man made global warming through CO2 increases. There isn´t any science behind it. The mechanism requires one molecule of Co2 to heat up 9,999 molecules of air. This is magic thinking. Try to heat your hot tub with a cigarette lighter. Try to have a stampede with one steer.

Not to mention that the correlation of CO2 increases with global temperature is zilch.

It´s the sun, stupid.

Please, bring it on! Man made global warming thru Co2 increases is the biggest fraud in history. Notice I don´t say scientific fraud, because ther is zero science in it.

Pop icon Cher said Sunday that Los Angeles, California, “can’t take care of its own” residents, much less newly arrived illegal and legal immigrants. Cher said she failed to understand how the city of Los Angeles in the sanctuary state of California could afford to admit and take care of any more immigrants when city officials have failed to care for homeless, veterans, and poverty-stricken Americans.
