K-12: Fake, like Adulterated Milk
American Thinker, by Bruce Deitrick Price

Original Article

In the 1800s, adulterated milk was common. Milk produced by swill herds, as muckraking journalist Robert Hartley wrote in 1842, was "very thin, and of a pale bluish color," the kind nobody in their right mind would buy. So distillers added flour, starch, chalk, plaster of Paris, or anything else they could get away with to make the milk look healthy. This adulteration only increased the bacteria in milk that we today would consider undrinkable. The common theme in adulteration is that you pay for A but they give you B. It´s not what you want. Additionally, it´s likely to

It´s called "dumbing down". I didn´t have to send my children to kindergarten when they were coming along. It did not stunt their intelligence. One went to medical school; one went to pharmacy school. We make kids go to pre-school before Kindergarten. They still can´t read. Why? With everyone working, there is no one at home to help them with reading and math. Our society is really messed up thanks to the liberals.

Not since Paul Revere has an alarm been raised that is more important to the survival of our country than the work of Bruce Deitrick Price. Do a search on his name for more information about the adulteration of your children´s education.

My daughter started Kinder in ´14 (same year that I began career 2.0 as a teacher). What. An. Eye. Opener. Long story short, I was one and done after one year. Curriculum craziness, lax discipline, nutty ´my kid is a perfect angel´ parents. I quit and we pulled my daughter from the school at the end of the year and chose to home school (and this was a Catholic school!). But here´s the kicker:

My daughter´s kinder teacher was raved about what an advanced reader my daughter was -- 3rd grade level at the end of kinder. I thought that was a little off, as we read her school readers at home and knew those were no where near 3rd grade level. But when I started our own reading program, I quickly determined MY DAUGHTER DIDN´T KNOW HOW TO READ. The entire ´site word´ approach is a failure. We had to start completely over with phonics. A: ae, ah, uh. Now, four years later, she´s an amazing reader and isn´t ´guessing´ at words.

Choosing to home school has been the best decision we´ve ever made.

"Public education" has amply demonstrated its inability to educate large number of "students" at extremely high (and highly inflated) cost to taxpayers. It should be trashed in favor of private schools, financed by the rental of current school properties and a lesser level of tax revenue. These private schools are not charter schools, but will adhere to a basic set of academic standards, be subject to parental inspection at any time, and accredited by appropriate evaluators. Standards will include attendance, and truants will be transferred to legacy "public schools" for the remainder of their academic careers.

Diplomas will be awarded on merit and scholastic achievement.

Rush Limbaugh says special counsel Robert Mueller’s 400-page report would have been more accurate if he had openly lamented President Trump’s attempt to obstruct a silent “coup.” The man behind the “golden EIB microphone” said on Thursday’s show that hundreds of pages were not needed to explain the details of an investigation that concluded with zero criminal charges against the president. Mr. Limbaugh told his audience that the lengthy report exist primarily to fuel biased media attacks against Mr. Trump. “This wasn’t an investigation,” he said. “It was an attempt at a coup. WASHINGTON- Before the world glimpsed the redacted version of the special counsel´s report, President Donald Trump tried once more to frame the moment as a political victory. The 448-page report does include an account of how the president attempted to seize control of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election and force out Robert Mueller from leading the inquiry. [SNIP] “if we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment.”

While Christians have long challenged Charles Darwin’s theory of undirected evolution, few appreciate the true extent of the challenge beyond the church. Current estimates are that approximately one-third of professional academic biologists who do not believe in intelligent design find Darwin’s theory is inadequate to describe all of the complexity in biology. Ben Stein documented a crackdown within the academy on criticism of Darwin in his 2008 documentary “Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed.” While this might explain why the public rarely hears of challenges to Neo-Darwinism, the documentary centered on intelligent design. But the growing discontent in academia is from secular naturalists.
