For Latinos, ´Beto´ O´Rourke is

He hasn’t earned it. I’ve distilled it down. And that’s basically the refrain I’ve heard from dozens of Latinos who — unlike the media, which is run by white liberals who are fascinated by other white liberals — refuse to go loco for Beto. They’re concerned that Robert Francis O’Rourke, who this week joined an already-crowded field of 2020 Democratic presidential hopefuls, is trying to put one over on Latinos by tricking them into thinking he’s one of them. Or, at the very least, they think that his strategy,

Key item of interest that should slam the lid on this dangerous fraud; FTA: “What they appear not as eager to talk about, however, is the fact that Patrick O’Rourke—Robert Francis’ father—once explained that he was the one who gave his son the nickname in the first place and the reason had a lot to do with politics, as well as geography. According to The Dallas Morning News, the patriarch reasoned that if his son ever ran for office in El Paso, the odds of being elected in that largely Mexican-American city were far greater with a name like Beto.”

Also, this article says Beta doesn´t appear to have accomplished much for this constituency as a voting bloc, meaning leftist goodies such as easing immigration, providing special services, etc. Beta is dangerous because of how close he came to unseating Ted Cruz is supposedly conservative Texas. And when the rubber met the road, Latinos pulled the lever for the Democrat, as reflected in most any poll (vs heresay on being family values voters).

“Beto” took 80% of the Latino vote in Denton, Dallas, El Paso, Harris, Hidalgo, and Travis counties, which have higher percentages of Latino voters, versus 20% for Cruz. Per WaPo, 12/11/18, “Have Democrats turned the corner with Latino voters?”

Mueller’s Despicable Parthian Shot
American Spectator, by David Catron    Original Article

When special counsel Robert Mueller finally finished his investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election, he produced a report that confirms much of the criticism President Trump has leveled at him during the past two years. It clearly reveals that Mueller’s partisan investigators were determined to “get Trump,” and that they were frustrated by their inability to do so. This is most obvious in the section dealing with obstruction of justice. As it is phrased in the Introduction to Volume II, “[T]his report does not conclude that the President committed a crime.” An honest evaluation would have stopped there.

This week, Attorney General William Barr testified in front of the Senate Appropriations Committee. In an exchange with Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Barr answered, “I think spying did occur, yes. I think spying did occur.” He received immediate pushback for his comments. “Let me just say how very, very dismaying and disappointing that the chief law enforcement officer is going off the rails,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in response to his comments. She went on to say, “He is the attorney general of the United States of America, not the attorney general of Donald Trump.”

Trump is looking to give sanctuary

President Trump scored a win on Friday, when a federal appeals court gave a temporary green light to his Remain-in-Mexico program. The idea is to keep asylum seekers south of the border until they get their day in court. It’s urgently needed to help border towns like McAllen, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley region, and Las Cruces, New Mexico, which are being overwhelmed. The same critics pouncing on Trump’s call to transport these asylum seekers to sanctuary cities are also opposing his Remain-in-Mexico program. For these Trump-haters, nothing matters but politics.

Democrats have spent the past two-plus years accusing the president of the United States and his allies of seditiously conspiring with our enemies to destroy “democracy.” For the most part this fairytale has been cynically deployed by politicians to undermine the legitimacy of a Republican presidency, yet millions of Americans now believe their votes were upended by a foreign power. There is no more serious charge against an elected official than treason. Then again, for decades before the 2016 election, Democrats argued that Republicans were literally killing their fellow Americans when cutting taxes, murdering the sick

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report is expected to be made public early this week. The big special counsel news already occurred last month when Attorney General William Barr announced Mueller ended his investigation without a single American, much less a single American tied to President Donald Trump, being indicted for collusion with Russia to steal the 2016 election. The news followed years of media coverage claiming Trump was an agent of Russian President Vladimir Putin and had colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton. That conspiracy theory led first to widespread spying on the Trump campaign

Obama Judge Compares Trump to KKK

When Chief Justice John Roberts pompously admonished President Trump last year, making the preposterous claim that we “do not have Obama or Trump judges,” Carlton W. Reeves evidently failed to get the memo. This Obama appointee to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi is a textbook example of a partisan jurist who ignores the law and the will of voters as expressed through their elected representatives. Indeed, Judge Reeves has now escalated his activism by attacking the President and comparing him to a long line of white supremacist Democrats and their partners in the KKK.

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders is in the spotlight this week with headlines about his large personal fortune. For most of the 77-year-old Vermont socialist’s political career, this is not a sentence you would have ever expected to encounter. He grew up respectably urban poor and his career before politics was pretty ragtag. As a municipal politician he set an example of relative austerity and closeness to the public: the townhouse in Burlington, Vt., that he still owns is nothing special. During his time in the U.S. Senate he has been famous for being the poorest member,

Ilhan Omar’s pathetic bid to play

New York Post, by Editorial    Original Article

Democrats, Twitter and the national news media offered plenty of outrage Thursday over Rep. Ilhan Omar’s description of 9/11 as a day when “some people did something.” But they directed it entirely at The Post’s front page for exposing and highlighting Omar’s cavalier words. About the remark itself: total silence, with a few terse “no comments” from Democrats. Omar, echoed by her allies, played the victim, accusing us of “incitement.” Others claimed we took her remark “out of context.”

What Congresswoman Ilhan Omar said about Sept. 11 was disgraceful. She dismissed thousands of people being murdered like it was an everyday occurrence when she said “some people did something.” On 9/11/01 my son, firefighter Jimmy Riches was murdered along with close to 3,000 American citizens by Muslim terrorists.I rushed to Engine 4 in Lower Manhattan when I heard what was happening. That’s where my son worked. As I came over the Brooklyn Bridge, the towers had both already fallen. All the rigs at the firehouse were gone, so I knew they were all at the World Trade Center.
