The Dems Will Lose the House in 2020

If you find it difficult to grasp how a handful of leftwing extremists managed to win last week’s battle with the nominal leadership of the Democratic Party over a House resolution originally written to condemn anti-Semitism, Margaret Thatcher explained the phenomenon four decades ago: “The one thing about leftwing politicians is that they are always fanatical. They never let go. It’s their religion.” She was describing how the Labour Party had been destroyed from within by a small minority of radicals. Thatcher eventually exploited this process, led the Conservative Party to victory over Labour, and became Prime Minister

Do NOT underestimate the "moron" level of the U.S. voter. They gave to us what we see now in the likes of the mental midgets of AOC, Ms. Hijab Omar, Ms. Burka Tlaib, etc.. I was happy to see this article - I believe the first of many that are going to point to a "red" wave that will crush the jackass party. So I can hope and do whatever I can to make the jackass party self-destruct. But then again as I mentioned in the opening sentence....

AOC sits in Congress having won a grand total of 15,897 votes. That´s how many people--at least momentarily--thought she should be elected. Good to keep in perspective, since the media pretends she´s there on a huge tide of elective love. She´s not.

I had back surgery four years ago, requiring rehab in a very good nursing home for 2 1/2 weeks.
The blank look and dead eyes in that photo of Nancy Pelosi reminded me of so many of the nursing home residents I spent the 2 1/2 weeks with.
It is time to pull the plug on Nancy.

You ain’t never seen back-pedalin’ and l moon walkin’ like what’s coming next year. The real trouble makers like Schiff, Nadler and bowlin’ ball head Cummin’s will stay. They are are in safe districts of tribal stupidity where nothing but groupthink is permitted.
Meanwhile, fancy pants bouncy Nancy will again make history as the first female house speaker to lose the gavel twice.

I´m with #3...plus who knows how many ineligible voters will "go" to the polls in one form or another.

I just hope I breathe a sigh of hopeful relief the morning of 11/4/20 even though the Republicans are long noted for the political equivalent of running 3 plays for 5 yards and then punting.

Two things should be happening.

!. Investigations into the lives and habits of many of the Demns who are targeting Our President. There is a plethora of criminality lying beneath the covers such as Pelosi and how her husband got a no bid contract that profited him several billion dollars. Bernie Sanders and his screwed up socialism with assets in the multi-millions. The beat goes on!

2. Most of the Demn winners in the midterm filled the voids left by pubbies who were RINOS and who decided not to run again. The GOP screwed up. They should have dumped tons of money into those campaigns to secure the House, but they played their favorites and shrugged at the "incompetence" of those they should have supported.

So, Here we are with the Demns and their malicious investigations into every aspect they can contrive to subvert the will of Patriotic Americans who helped put Our President, Donald Trump in office.

Try to resell this recycled old raggedy story..... "When you give us the House, THEN we will fight for you."
You republicans better fight like it matters NOW! Bring legislation to make them vote against, which will show their constituents who they are NOW. Get rid of that man-made 60% uniparty rule NOW.

I wouldn´t bet on it. I know too many intelligent people who will simply not vote rather than vote for a Republican and , thus in their minds, vote for Trump. They have no idea what he has accomplished, how the economy is doing etc. and they DON´T WANT TO KNOW! Here in Fairfield County, Ct. we lost a wonderful Rep, Toni Boucher, to a 22 year old just out of Georgetown and living with his parents to even be eligible in the county, just because so many Republicans stayed home. I guess they showed Trump. And you should SEE the devastation here. We are circling the drain!!!!!!!!!!

FTA:"In 2020 the GOP will target 50 to 60 seats held by Democrats in purple districts they narrowly won during the last two cycles."

The sentence that ensures David Catron is wrong, and not "narrowly" wrong. The GOP "targeted" and aided Marxists into winning 45 districts by quitting, then sat on their hands in California when vote harvesting turned five solid red districts uber blue.

I´m sorry but the GOP is openly aiding and abetting the Marxists in their so far successful plan to overthrow a presidential election. They are doing everything in their feeble power to ruin one branch of the federal government.

How is the GOP going to "target" these 50 or 60 districts? by promising to end Obamacare and promising to build a wall then actually working feverishly with the Marxists to destroy Trump, destroy anyone who has said "Hello" to Trump, and help deep state criminals get him illegally removed from office? Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, ball cap AND the DVD.

Don´t bet on it. Watch the voter harvesting. It was successful in California. It will be used again, and expanded to other states. How much voter fraud is in there as well? Look at what is getting elected. They will take the Democratic party further and further left, take away more and more rights, and have even more disregard for the law.

If the voters persist in voting in radicals, they get what they deserve. Voters have let this happen.

I wonder. So many associated with the GOP were willing to surrender the party to Hillary to avoid having president Trump. Even in the face of Trump´s successes, often about things they advocated, many of them are still willing to turn to dems instead of supporting Trump and the GOP.

How effective will the GOP be in mounting challenges for these 60 seats? Will they be willing to abdicate control to get their way and weaken Trump?

It seems that the ruling elite are united in that THEY want to rule, not the People of the Country. It´s unclear how strong they are and how far they are willing to go.

Well, not exactly. The GOPe/Uniparty decided this was the easier path to ridding the Swamp of Trump. Let Schiff, Cummings, Nadler and the gang spend two years trashing and "impeaching" PDT, with wall-to-wall media coverage, and the public would turn its back, or the personal price of re-election would become too steep, forcing PDT´s eventual withdrawal ala LBJ. And no GOPe dirty hands.

Meanwhile the Uniparty would gum up the Trump agenda from passing - Special prosecutor, associated convicted, no Wall, and lots of unchecked judicial and bureaucratic chicanery.

And here we are...

Mr. Catron is dead wrong sorry to say. There isn´t ONE Republican today that has the cujones of Maggie Thatcher. We lost the House because Paul Ryan allowed what? 50 or so safe seated Congressman to "retire" and not run again all because they lost their chairmanships. Ryan should have negotiated a an organized "retirement scheme" so all 50 seats did not have to be defended in an election that the party in the White House historically gives up seats. Mr. McCarthy is as feckless and is an intellectual midget who will complete the destruction of the Republican party.

I don´t see us winning back a majority for a long time, if ever. I pray to God I am wrong.

Here are 5 reasons Trump

It’s a good bet that President Trump will get himself re-elected to the White House in 2020. Here are five reasons why.First: It’s the economy, stupid. Recessions kill re-election campaigns. Only two presidents since 1968 have lost in their bids to win second terms, Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush, and their losses can be tied directly to a bad economy. While many Trump-hating pundits and economists are predicting that growth might stagnate in the next year or two, I think that is wishful thinking by a group who never thought the president would win in the first place.

The President of the United States did not conspire with the Russians. Neither did his family. Neither did his friends. Neither did his campaign. At the end of the Robert Mueller investigation – now clearly staffed and advanced by partisans who loathe this president – not one single American, after all that, has been indicted or charged with any crime for conspiring with the Russians in any way, shape, or form to steal the 2016 election. That is now an indisputable fact. The uncomfortable reality is that we spent two years being fed the most irresponsible allegations

When special counsel Robert Mueller finally finished his investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election, he produced a report that confirms much of the criticism President Trump has leveled at him during the past two years. It clearly reveals that Mueller’s partisan investigators were determined to “get Trump,” and that they were frustrated by their inability to do so. This is most obvious in the section dealing with obstruction of justice. As it is phrased in the Introduction to Volume II, “[T]his report does not conclude that the President committed a crime.” An honest evaluation would have stopped there.

President Trump scored a win on Friday, when a federal appeals court gave a temporary green light to his Remain-in-Mexico program. The idea is to keep asylum seekers south of the border until they get their day in court. It’s urgently needed to help border towns like McAllen, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley region, and Las Cruces, New Mexico, which are being overwhelmed. The same critics pouncing on Trump’s call to transport these asylum seekers to sanctuary cities are also opposing his Remain-in-Mexico program. For these Trump-haters, nothing matters but politics.

Democrats have spent the past two-plus years accusing the president of the United States and his allies of seditiously conspiring with our enemies to destroy “democracy.” For the most part this fairytale has been cynically deployed by politicians to undermine the legitimacy of a Republican presidency, yet millions of Americans now believe their votes were upended by a foreign power. There is no more serious charge against an elected official than treason. Then again, for decades before the 2016 election, Democrats argued that Republicans were literally killing their fellow Americans when cutting taxes, murdering the sick

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report is expected to be made public early this week. The big special counsel news already occurred last month when Attorney General William Barr announced Mueller ended his investigation without a single American, much less a single American tied to President Donald Trump, being indicted for collusion with Russia to steal the 2016 election. The news followed years of media coverage claiming Trump was an agent of Russian President Vladimir Putin and had colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton. That conspiracy theory led first to widespread spying on the Trump campaign

When Chief Justice John Roberts pompously admonished President Trump last year, making the preposterous claim that we “do not have Obama or Trump judges,” Carlton W. Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders is in the spotlight this week with headlines about his large personal fortune. For most of the 77-year-old Vermont socialist’s political career, this is not a sentence you would have ever expected to encounter. He grew up respectably urban poor and his career before politics was pretty ragtag. As a municipal politician he set an example of relative austerity and closeness to the public: the townhouse in Burlington, Vt., that he still owns is nothing special. During his time in the U.S. Senate he has been famous for being the poorest member,

Mayor Pete Buttigieg acknowledged that he would face challenges as an openly gay presidential candidate if he ultimately faced President Donald Trump in the general election. “I’m from Indiana, I’m gay as a — I don’t know, think of something really gay — that’s how gay I am,” he said in an interview with TMZ’s Harvey Levin.Levin warned Buttigieg that Trump campaign would most certainly turn homophobic. “I’m used to bullying,” Buttigieg replied. “I think you confront it, initially, and move on.” He said that as a presidential candidate he would focus on calling out Trump’s behavior but remain intent

Attorney George Conway, husband of White House aide Kellyanne Conway, called on Congress to remove President Donald Trump from office following the Thursday release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report. “What the Mueller report disturbingly shows, with crystal clarity, is that today there is a cancer in the presidency: President Donald J. Trump,” Conway wrote in a Washington Post opinion-editorial. “Congress now bears the solemn constitutional duty to excise that cancer without delay.” The frequent Trump critic went on to argue that Mueller’s findings lay out how the president committed wrongdoing disqualifying him from the presidency. “The investigation that Trump tried to interfere

The Flyers wasted little time in following the Yankees lead. A day after the Daily News reported the Yankees had stopped playing Kate Smith’s 1939 recording of “God Bless America” in the middle of the seventh inning over her racist lyrics, the NHL’s Flyers made the same call. And took the extra step of covering a statue in her honor outside the Wells Fargo Center. “We have recently become aware that several songs performed by Kate Smith contain offensive lyrics that do not reflect our values as an organization,” the Flyers said in a statement. “As we continue to look

For the first time in Vatican history, the pope allowed for the reading of Islamic prayers and Koran readings from the Catholic facility. The readings and prayer came as Pope Francis met with Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Vatican City, a gathering designed to pray for Middle Eastern peace. A Holy See spokesman said the prayers were supposed to be a “pause in politics,” Breitbart reported. The pope said, too, that he hoped the interfaith prayers would foster peace specifically between Israelis and Palestinians, the news outlet said.

If you left a bait bucket -wrapped in a plastic bag- sitting in the sun for three days, the results would be be appropriate for Mitt Romney’s latest brand of cologne. (more) Apparently Mitt Romney wants the world to know his opinion of the Mueller report:

Robert de Niro furthered the actor’s feud with President Trump by labeling him a “total loser,” “dumbbell” and “wannabe gangster” in an interview Friday evening. Appearing on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on CBS, Mr. De Niro repeatedly took swipes at the president while discussing his reoccurring role depicting special counsel Robert Mueller on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.” “It’s a civic duty. It’s my obligation, my civic obligation to play Mueller,” said Mr. De Niro. “I am hoping that it goes further. I don’t know would will happen,” Mr. De Niro continued. “I don’t know if this is actually

Friday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said the Republican Party has become “a cult of Trump’s personality.” Schiff said, “I think we have seen a wholesale abdication responsibility by the GOP leadership, by people like Kevin McCarthy, Mitch McConnell who essentially do whatever the president says. And that includes when the president wants to go around the Congress’ power of the purse. But it certainly includes issues of malfeasance, corruption within the administration. There’s been little or no appetite to stand up to the president in any meaningful way, and that really

There have been a lot of viral impersonations of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on social media, but none have been quite this hilarious and adorable. Wearing glasses and bright red lipstick, a young girl brilliantly skewered the freshmen congresswoman in a way that put the current cast of Saturday Night Live to shame. (Video/Tweet) “Like, I’m Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, aka AOC, and like, I want to talk about like, climate change, because like, there’s no doubt cow farts are making the climate change,” the girl’s rant begins. “Like, in July the climate was 96 degrees and in February the climate was 36

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand channeled her inner diva at a Des Moines gay bar, where she posed and palled around with a drag queen. Pics of the Democratic presidential candidate posted to Twitter late Friday showed Gillibrand doing her makeup and striking poses alongside a drag queen at a bar called Blazing Saddles. “I felt underdressed, so I brought a dress I picked up yesterday—turns out it fit me, but it fit Vana even better! Thank you for having me, ladies!” the New York lawmaker tweeted. Gillibrand is holding a May 2 fundraiser with Marti Gold Cummings, whom the campaign described

The voluminous report from special counsel Robert Mueller provides a deeply disturbing portrait of a candidate who welcomed the help of a foreign country to get elected and of a president who repeatedly attempted to undermine Mueller’s investigation. Now it is up to Congress and the American people to objectively digest the report and determine the fate of Donald Trump, who in no conceivable way has been exonerated. Over more than 400 plainly written pages released Thursday, the report provides a readable narrative that describes Trump’s eagerness for any help Russia could provide to help him win the 2016 election.

Joe Biden is running. The former vice president will make his candidacy official with a video announcement next Wednesday, according to people familiar with the discussions who have been told about them by top aides. Seriously, he’s actually made a decision. It’s taken two years of back-and-forth, it’ll be his third (or, depending on how you count, seventh) try for the White House, and many people thought he wouldn’t do it, but the biggest factor reshaping the 2020 Democratic-primary field is locking into place.
