WikiLeaks founder and chieftain Julian Assange was tossed out of the Ecuadorean embassy in London into the hands of British police last week. Assange is wanted on charges of sexual assault in Sweden and charges of conspiracy to commit computer intrusion in the U.S. He allegedly helped Army private Chelsea (née Bradley) Manning illegally obtain a password that led Manning to leak hundreds of thousands of classified documents to Assange for WikiLeaks to publish. Both Sweden and the U.S. have requested that Assange be extradited to face justice. It’s not clear which extradition request

Part of Trump´s plan.

Assange will be testifying all about Hillary.

He´s a journalist, and will be free to walk afterwards.

Are you ready for what is coming?

I am.

So has Assange tripped his wire . . . er . . . tripped over his tripwire . . . um . . . loosed the hounds of hell by releasing all this top secret incriminating evidence yet?

It´s not about the Swedes dropping charges.

It´s about Hillary, the DNC and Seth Richards.

Maybe even Justice Antonin Scalia´s murder.

Hope we learn what happened to Seth Rich. The CIA secrets are important but are at the service of Democrats, e.g., Valerie Plame case.

For approximately 3 million people, nothing in the Mueller report could exonerate President Trump of “Russian collusion,” obstruction of justice, and various other high crimes and misdemeanors of which they are certain he is guilty. For those 3 million people (a number reflecting the combined average weekday primetime audience of CNN and MSNBC) Trump’s guilt is an indisputable fact, his presidency an ongoing crime against humanity, his 2016 election a fraud. In a nation of 325 million people, of course, 3 million is less than a single percentage point. However, that hard-core audience of obsessive

Camille Paglia is an outspoken critic of modern feminism and some of the far-left trends that have taken hold on many college campuses of late so it’s probably not surprising that she would eventually become the target of student activists caught up in those same trends. A group of students at University of the Arts, where Paglia has been on the faculty since the 1980s, launched a protest aimed at getting her fired or, if that wasn’t possible, de-platforming her. From the Philly Inquirer:“I had a concern that she would be able to speak,

Clapper: Mueller couldn’t find ‘active

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper on Thursday said that there was “passive collusion” between the Trump campaign and Russia despite Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s findings that conclude there was no conspiracy. Clapper began by defending the foundation of the Russia probe, telling CNN anchor Anderson Cooper that there was “good reason” for intelligence agencies and law enforcement “to be concerned about whether or not there was some kind of conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians.”

A New Mexico county on Wednesday declared a state of emergency over an influx of immigrants crossing the border in recent months and asked the governor to send in the National Guard for protection, according to a report. Otero County, which touches neighboring El Paso, issued a declaration Wednesday that urged Democratic Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham to deploy National Guard Troops and reopen Customs and Border Patrol checkpoints to stem the flow of drugs and other illegal activity at the border, The Alamogordo Daily News reported.

Mueller completely dropped
the ball with obstruction punt

The most remarkable thing about special counsel Robert Mueller’s 448-page report is how blithely the prosecutor reversed the burden of proof on the issue of obstruction. To be sure, President Trump’s conduct outlined on this score isn’t flattering, to put it mildly. For example, the special counsel’s evidence includes indications that the president attempted to induce White House Counsel Don McGahn to fire the special counsel (in June 2017), and then (in January 2018) to deny that the president had made the request. Mueller’s report further suggests that the president dangled pardons.

Washington — Reiterating that special counsel Robert Mueller found no evidence of President Trump´s 2016 campaign colluding with Russia, Attorney General William Barr defended Mr. Trump in a preemptive press conference ahead of the release of Mueller´s report, saying the president faced "an unprecedented situation" throughout the two-year investigation. "As he entered into office, and sought to perform his responsibilities as President, federal agents and prosecutors were scrutinizing his conduct before and after taking office, and the conduct of some of his associates," Barr said at the Thursday morning press conference. Standing alongside Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein,

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter said she could support Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-VT, in 2020 and even floated the idea of working in his administration if he returned to his earlier stance on immigration. In a preview clip of PBS’s “Firing Line with Margaret Hoover” released Wednesday, host Margaret Hoover asked Coulter how she viewed the progressive senator. She asked whether she would support him if he campaign on “getting rid of low-skilled workers” to ensure higher wages.

The New York Yankees‘ anti-racism efforts have extended to pulling from their seventh-inning stretch a famous recording of the legendary Kate Smith singing “God Bless America.” Not because anyone has complained that the song is racist, but because Smith recorded other racially-insensitive standards from and during the Jim Crow era. The Yankees pulled Smith’s “God Bless America” from the rotation at the start of the season, but the New York Daily News reported the reason Thursday—“the Yankees were made aware of Smith’s history of potential racism.” According to the Daily News, the “potential racism” of which

A detailed report from special counsel Robert S. Mueller III said investigators struggled with both the legal implications of investigating President Trump for possible obstruction of justice and the motives behind a range of his most alarming actions, from seeking the ouster of officials to ordering a memo that would clear his name. [SNIP] “if we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment.”

The event was billed as ‘an intimate conversation with Michelle Obama’. Mrs Obama – more often seen in glamorous dresses at black-tie events – slipped into something more comfortable to promote her memoir Becoming in Paris. (Photo) She teamed her orange-striped suit with open-toe heels and hoop earrings. The mother of two, 55, spoke of her ‘disbelief’ at the blaze in the city’s Notre Dame cathedral. MSNBC political analyst Zerlina Maxwell criticized conservative-leaning Christians for not being "kinder" and said that South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is "demonstrating how to actually be a Christian," after the 2020 presidential hopeful shrugged off protesters in Iowa last night. "I think that we are going to see a number of protests. Anti-abortion protesters are going to show up at events throughout this primary," she said on MSNBC Live. "I have no doubt. So I think it´s a test for Democrats, including Mayor Pete, about how they can handle that type of direct adversity."
