Upset About Trump’s Aggressive Deportations?

Remember when all national polls said Kamala was popular? Yeah, that’s why it’s so hard to take seriously a new CNN one showing that a majority of Americans now supposedly say the Trump administration has “gone too far … when it comes to deporting immigrants living in the United States illegally.” According to the poll, 52 percent of respondents agreed the president’s crackdown on deportations has been excessive (though in what sense, the poll doesn’t say). It’s a 7-point increase from when the question was asked in February. I’m skeptical that even a quarter of Americans (as in, actual U.S. citizens, not just whoever picked up CNN’s phone call)

Second only to President Donald Trump's historic first 100 days of his second term, from a newsworthy perspective, has been the voracity with which Democrat-nominated federal district judges have attempted — unconstitutionally so — to obstruct this president at every politically driven opportunity. On Thursday, Trump took the first step of his second term to right the federal district court system. In a post on Truth Social, Trump announced his nomination of Whitney Hermandorfer to serve as a judge on the Cincinnati-based Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, which hears cases from Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee.

For reasons that defy logic (but are easily explained as default emotional opposition), the Democrats and the press have been yoking themselves to figures in the deportation news cycles that are consistently problematic. In the furor to automatically oppose President Trump in any activity and policy, it is a baffling reality to see the insistence that deeply flawed, violent, and illegal individuals be allowed to remain in the U.S. And it has cast the media in a position of idiocy. Note that we rarely see reports now about Mahmoud Khalil, who was initially held up as a wrongfully detained student not granted due process. His name has dissipated

Dozens of notorious Tren de Aragua gangsters have been arrested at the border after seemingly blindingly following their Google maps onto an international bridge teeming with US immigration agents. About 40 TdA members were arrested at Ambassador Bridge which connects Detroit, Michigan to Canada - and they weren't even trying to sneak into the US or Canada. The gangsters had simply been following their GPS which routed them on to the well-secured international crossing, where shocked agents took them into custody. Retired FBI agent Dan Brunner, who spent years tracking down migrant gang MS-13, estimates there are 3,000 to 5,000 mobsters associated with the South American syndicate in the US.

A conservative nonprofit is threatening to sue after an Atlanta-based band canceled less than 24 hours before its scheduled performance at a conservative conference Friday. The Job Creators Network hosted its annual “Freedom Fighters Summit and Gala” in Savannah, and the band Yacht Rock Schooner signed a contract to perform. The band canceled Thursday, claiming that it agreed to perform on the premise that the event was apolitical. At the time of the cancellation, the summit had already been well underway. The band performs music from the ’70s and early ’80s for dance parties. “The band Yacht Rock Schooner defied a 45-day contractual cancellation notice and

John Fetterman’s camera-thirsty wife has done him dirty. New York Magazine published a hit piece on the Pennsylvania senator Friday, airing grievances from his staffers who are concerned about his mental health, his views on the Israel-Gaza War. The piece also shed light on Fetterman’s relationship with his left-wing wife, Gisele, who secretly communicated with his staff and made a political disagreement into a full-blown argument. According to the outlet, Gisele visited her husband’s senate office in November 2023, weeks after Hamas attacked Israel, and got into a heated debate about the burgeoning war and her husband’s support for the Israeli state. Gisele also went behind her husband’s back,

Kate Mackz, a popular running influencer who conducts interviews with people while … running, recently visited the White House to take a tour with press secretary Karoline Leavitt. On Thursday, Walz’s daughter, Hope, weighed in on the visit with a take that contained a kernel of truth but was nonetheless delusional, hinting at her father’s failure as a … father. “Running as an act is political. And you know who taught me that? Tim Walz,” Hope told his TikTok following. “The first thing he told me when I was getting into it in high school

Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman reportedly displayed distressing behavior during an extended mental health crisis that left people in his orbit deeply concerned about the senator’s condition, according to New York Magazine. Fetterman suffered a stroke in 2022 while running for the senate seat he now occupies, and he checked in to Walter Reed hospital in March 2023 for extensive treatment for depression. New York Magazine’s piece — based on interviews with Fetterman and numerous people in his orbit — reports that the senator’s mental health situation has been more troubling than publicly acknowledged.

President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and State Department are announcing the removal of Romania from the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). Former President Joe Biden, in a last-minute move, admitted Romania to the VWP despite national security concerns. DHS and the State Department, Breitbart News has learned, are removing Romania from the VWP after a review of the Eastern European country’s admittance was concluded. The VWP is a coveted benefit that allows foreign nationals from designated countries to bypass having to obtain a visa to secure entry to the United States, and allowing them to stay in the country for up to 90 days visa-free.

TikTok must pay a €530 million ($600 million) fine after Irish regulators said Friday that the Chinese-owned video-sharing app illegally sent European users' data to China. TikTok, whose EU headquarters is in Ireland, violated the 27-nation bloc's data protection rules by transferring personal data of European users to China without proper safeguards, the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC) announced following a four-year investigation. The regulators also found that between 2020 and 2022, TikTok failed to disclose to users that Chinese staffers could access user data, Politico reported. The fine comes as TikTok has long faced scrutiny over its alleged ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

Jackson didn't mention President Trump by name in her comments Thursday, but said she was addressing “the elephant in the room,” likely referring to calls for impeachment of judges by him and others amid blocks on Trump's policies, Politico reported. “The attacks are not random. They seem designed to intimidate those of us who serve in this critical capacity,” Jackson said at a judges’ conference in Puerto Rico. “The threats and harassment are attacks on our democracy, on our system of government.

Am I going to have to spend another summer weaving my car around rude bicyclists who think they own the road? It is this second question I'm currently pondering, as I witnessed earlier in the day some poor sap driving a car, stuck behind a gaggle of inconsiderate male bicyclists (the rude ones are always men),

Felix Rojas, 44, unlawfully crossed the US-Mexico border “on several occasions” in the late 1990s before being caught by Border Patrol agents and voluntarily turning back, an ICE spokesperson revealed. But Rojas apparently crossed the border at least one more time and remained undetected by immigration authorities until NYPD cops arrested him Sunday night in connection to the shocking defilement of 37-year-old family man Jorge Gonzalez,

The calls for violence are growing louder and louder by the day. The agitators are calling for the assassination of public figures and elected officials; they are calling for acts of insurrection by federal and local law enforcement. These are actions that would very likely prompt a second civil war, but the agitators have no thought of that, or, on the few occasions when they register that possibility, seem somehow to think that their side would win. The people making these calls for violence are, of course, all members of the "progressive" left. Jonathan Turley recently penned an interesting piece on those people.

Washington — A federal judge ruled Friday that President Trump's executive order targeting the law firm Perkins Coie is unconstitutional and permanently blocked the administration from enforcing it. "Using the powers of the federal government to target lawyers for their representation of clients and avowed progressive employment policies in an overt attempt to suppress and punish certain viewpoints, however, is contrary to the Constitution, which requires that the government respond to dissenting
