Trump Wanted Proof to Vote—A Judge Had
Other Plans

Yet another federal judge has blocked one of President Donald Trump’s policies. This time, the issue is an executive order intended to improve election integrity. US District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly issued a partial preliminary injunction on an order that would require documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote in federal elections, CBS News reported. It would also mandate that all ballots must be received by Election Day. The judge blocked the Trump administration from implementing two provisions of the executive order signed by the president last month: the first orders the Election Assistance Commission, a federal independent regulatory commission, to add a "documentary proof of U.S. citizenship"

I'm beyond sick of these judges! Something needs to be done right away - why bother having elections if unelected judges are running everything?

Why have a president. We are not represented by our president, we are ruled by random judges who dictate by mandates and unwritten laws.

The judiciary is not respected by democrats or the left. It is only a useful tool for them. Republicans and conservatives on the other hand had respect for law and the courts. However, because of all these leftist, corrupt and activist judges, the judiciary is losing support from the one group that had respect for it. It will not be long before the judiciary has zero support from the people it is supposed to serve.

So many leftie judges acting like absolute monarchs with no visible checks and balances from Congress because the Senate filibuster rules require 60 votes. Time to get rid of the filibuster and get the MAGA agenda done. This is the last chance to save the country that the Democrats are so intent on destroying. Desperate measures for desperate times. So also: add four justices to Supreme Court and limit their terms to ten years, ditto all other judges, and stop nationwide injunctions. Further, Trump should exercise his own Jacksonian Constitutional check on the activist courts and ignore their rogue rulings, whereupon the President’s refusal to comply can only be overturned by a unanimous decision of the Supreme Court.

THere are 677 authorized Federal DIstrict Court Judges. By some miracle, a majority of them end up in the DC District and we keep seeing some very now familiar names attached to the rulings. What are the chances that Judge Boasberg, out of all of the District Judges in the country, would just happen to keep being assigned Trump cases? What about Judges Chutkin and Kollar-Kotelly? If you see these names, you know what the ruling will automatically be. Why no filings in an Idaho or Alabama District? Are the anti-Trump activists afraid of the rulings that they may get in those districts?

My bad; Based on the high-lines, I assumed this was a Obambi or Diaper Joe Judge. I was wrong;. It's a Clinton judge. l guess I need to remember I'm old enought for Kennedy judges or more recent. Its just I assumed most Dem judges retire but obviously they die in their chambers.; Oh well, its a Dem judge that blocks common sense orders. And what else is new?

The Constitution says we citizens have the right to vote, not what some judge says. She need to step down and take another class on the Constitution. Meanwhile, someone needs to do a background check on her starting with her financial activities. .

A Milwaukee judge arrested for allegedly hiding an undocumented migrant from ICE has a sign on her courtroom offering Zoom hearings to those who 'felt unsafe' coming to court. 'If any attorney, witness coordinator, or other court official knows or believes that a person feels unsafe coming to the courthouse to courtroom 615, please notify the branch 31 clerk to request court appearance via ZOOM,' reads the sign on County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan's door. It's not uncommon for judges to offer Zoom hearings for victims of violent crimes who fear facing their aggressors. But the sign is circulating online following Dugan's arrest Friday, which has sent waves across the political spectrum.

Mexico is calling on broadcasters to ban a series of Department of Homeland Security ads that feature Secretary Kristi Noem dissuading migrants from illegally crossing the border into the United States. The ads, which aired during a Mexican soccer game, showed men being put in handcuffs and placed in police cars and migrants crossing the dangerous Rio Grande and scaling the border wall. “If you are considering entering America illegally, don’t even think about it,” Noem said in the ad. “If you come to our country and you break our laws, we will hunt you down. Criminals are not welcome.” Following the ad’s airing, a Mexican government agency released a statement

President Trump and first lady Melania will likely have a third-row seat to Pope Francis’ funeral on Saturday, sandwiched between African dignitaries — and far away from Ukrainian President Volodmyr Zelensky. World leaders are expected to sit in alphabetical order according to the name of their country in French, in line with Vatican protocol that also dictated Pope John Paul II’s funeral in 2005. That puts the delegation from the US — which translates to États-Unis — after Ethiopia and before Eswatini, formerly known as Swaziland. Front row to the papal service, which begins Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Peter’s Square, will be powerful archbishops, bishops and cardinals.

The circle of top advisers in Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s orbit has shrunk in recent days to little more than his wife, lawyer, and two lower-level officials — leaving the Pentagon’s lead office without longtime expertise or clear direction. Hegseth’s decision to fire three senior aides last week and reassign his chief of staff has blown a hole in his leadership team, severing essential lines of communication across the department and leading to fears about dangerous slip-ups such as weapons program delays. The wholesale turnover just 100 days into Hegseth’s tenure has been remarkable for its speed. And it has left the first-time government official without trusted staff who understand Washington
