Trump Holds 'Very Good' Call With China

Original Article

President-elect Donald Trump held a "very good" phone call with Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Friday, discussing critical issues like the ongoing fentanyl crisis and the U.S. ban on TikTok. As the United States grapples with skyrocketing drug overdoses and concerns over Chinese-backed apps infiltrating American society, Trump’s direct approach to these matters stands in stark contrast to the lackluster responses from the current administration. By engaging with Xi, Trump signals his commitment to holding China accountable while safeguarding American interests, especially as the nation faces challenges that impact both national security and public health.

Our Dear POTUS needs t be careful. Don't forget that the Rats impeached him over a phone call with Vlad (only to then hypocritically bring Vlad to Pennsylvania to help the Delaware Doofus campaign). I've no doubt that if they ever unfortunately regain control of the House during the course of Trump 2.0 they'll impeach him a third time just out of spite. This phone call with Xi is probably going into the "evidence file" of anything they might twist to use against DJT in the future.

As he did with the Taliban leader, I hope Trump showed Xi Jinping a satellite image of his house. Because a picture is worth a thousand bombs.

We’ve reported extensively on what should be considered one of the top political scandals of the century: the years-long conspiracy by the media, the First Family, high-level Democrats and the corrupt corporate press to hide the reality of Joe Biden’s mental decline from the public. Now, as the president prepares to become the former president tomorrow, Monday, more and more stories keep dribbling out from accomplices like Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who are revealing that the signs were there for all to see but he and his ilk simply fibbed about it.

The Los Angeles mother who confronted Newsom about the dry fire hydrants earlier this month amid the wildfires revealed who the governor was actually on the phone with as he insisted he was talking to Joe Biden. Earlier this month Governor Gavin Newsom pretended to be on the phone with Joe Biden as an angry constituent demanded answers on his disastrous wildfire response after her daughter’s school burned down. “Governor! You got a second? Governor! Governor! I live here, Governor! That was my daughter’s school, Governor!” a Pacific Palisades woman shouted as she sprinted over to confront Newsom.

Washington—Most presidents get to move into the White House once. President-elect Donald Trump is doing it twice, and his wife, Melania, says it’s a lot easier the second time around. “I know where I will be going. I know the rooms where we will be living. I know the process,” the incoming first lady said recently. She described their first move to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in 2017 as “challenging.” Regardless of who is president, the whole process also challenges the White House residence staff: The maids, butlers and others who look after the president’s private living space have about five hours — from start to finish — on Inauguration Day to move

Washington, D.C.—What began in January 2017 as the “Women’s March” morphed into a smorgasbord of liberal, progressive, and socialist groups rebranded as the “People’s March” ahead of President-Elect Donald Trump’s inauguration. Despite broadening protest group categories, the rally failed to muster the size of the initial Women’s March that followed Trump’s first swearing-in ceremony eight years ago. “Anti-Trump” was the only thing the groups seemed to have in common. Pro-abortion protesters joined arms with leftists of all kinds to march on Washington, D.C., two days before Donald Trump’s 2025 inauguration. On Friday afternoon, CNN's senior national security analyst, Juliette Kayyem, preemptively tried to undermine President-elect Donald Trump from being able to take credit for lower border numbers after he takes office as the ex-Barack Obama administration member and former Democrat politician suggested that President Joe Biden had already fixed the problem, and that Trump would only be taking credit for low numbers that already exist. As Kayyem and CNN News Central host Brianna Keilar discussed the Senate confirmation hearings for Homeland Security Secretary-designate Kristi Noem, Kayyem asserted that "the immigration agenda has nothing to do with enforcement anymore. The numbers are down -- the Southern border numbers are down."

The US Treasury Department will start taking "extraordinary measures" next week to avoid risking a default on government debt, Secretary Janet Yellen said Friday, days before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. With the government reaching its borrowing limit, the department would start making the moves on Tuesday, the day after the inauguration, Yellen said in a letter to congressional leaders. That will mean Trump's administration has to grapple immediately with the issue of the debt ceiling. In the past, Congress has routinely voted to lift this bar, but that tool has become a contentious issue, with Republican budget hawks calling for drastic spending reductions instead.
