The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has made a new ruling in the case involving the state of Texas defending itself against the illegal alien horde invited to storm the U.S.-Mexico border by the Biden administration over the past four year--and it's a win for Governor Greg Abbott.
RedState had written extensively about the legal wrangling over the razor wire erected at the border, including the governor's reaction to the US Surpeme Court vacating the Fifth Circuit's previous ruling in January that would have stopped Biden Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents from removing the physical barriers.
In Wednesday's decision, the court states a few things.

As RedState's Bob Hoge reported, the Democrat Party Twitter/X account released a short video Tuesday of what they described as "Vice President Kamala Harris' message to supporters."
Presumably, the video was created to boost the morale of Democrats who were absolutely deflated and demoralized (and in many cases frighteningly unhinged) after their Election Day drubbing at the hands of former President Donald Trump.
"I just have to remind you, don’t you ever let anybody take your power from you," a tired-looking Harris emphatically stated. "You have the same power that you did before November 5th."
"And you have the same purpose that you did," she went on to say.

Ryan Wesley Routh, the second suspect to attempt to assassinate then-candidate Donald Trump, sent Politico a letter parroting mainstream media talking points that vilify Trump. At one point in the four-page letter, penned from behind bars, the alleged would-be Trump assassin calls Trump a "dictator." [Tweet]
According to the anti-Trump screed — written prior to the 2024 presidential election — Routh warned that if Trump were to win, the country would need to strip the president's commander-in-chief status ahead of Inauguration Day.
"We must limit all Presidential power before Trump seizes our country," Routh wrote.

President-elect Donald J. Trump isn’t buying into the FBI’s games, nor should he. The Justice Department has targeted the man and has gone multiple rounds with its lawyers, including a federal raid on his home—all of which was to derail his 2024 candidacy. But he won the election.
He’s in charge, and I hope he takes a baseball bat to the J. Edgar Hoover Building. And yes, no appointee should subject themselves to an FBI background check for security clearances until he’s sworn in and gets his people to run the show. The Biden DOJ cannot be trusted. As we gather this Thanksgiving, it's easy to take abundance for granted.
Leftovers are practically guaranteed.
It wasn't always this way.
For most of history, there were no Thanksgiving feasts. Hunger, if not starvation, was the norm.
Today, supermarkets are stocked with exotic foods from all over the world. Most of it is more affordable than ever. Even after President Joe Biden's 8% inflation, Americans spend less than 12% of our income on food, half of what they spent 100 years ago.
Why?
Because free markets happened. Capitalism happened.
When there is rule of law and private property, and people feel secure that no thief or government will take their property,

“I never said most of the things I said,” claimed the eminently quotable Yogi Berra. And he’s right: Although his (many) malapropisms were legendary, (Snip) With this in mind, we hereby present the PJ Media “Turkey of the Year” award to… drumroll, please…
The leadership of the Democratic Party! C’mon, guys — take a bow!
When 2024 began, Joe Biden was young, spry, and in the best shape of his life. (Wait: That’s not true at all.)
Anyhoo, with 2024 being an election year, the Democratic Party stood before two paths. The choice was entirely theirs.

No, PETA — oh, dear Lord, no. This time, you've really gone and done it.
Each year, PETA takes to social media to try and scare people — sometimes literally, but I'll return to that thought momentarily — out of eating that delicious roasted or deep-fried Thanksgiving turkey. For whatever reason, alternative meats like ham, duck, or lobster never enjoy the same attention. Maybe our PETA friends love eating lobster.
Whatever the case, this year's scare tactic is that Butterball workers have been, um, molesting the turkeys.
A new video on PETA's Instagram page features an "undercover investigator" who claims that people "just don’t know what happens to the birds

The presidential election of 2024 was three weeks ago, but as of Tuesday morning, New Jersey has still counted only 91% of the votes that were cast (or something) there. California and Oregon have only gotten around to counting 93%. And so, several times a day, the popular vote totals for Donald Trump and Kamala Harris continue to be adjusted. Trump still has a comfortable lead, but Harris has (surprise, surprise) been steadily narrowing that lead. On what is quaintly still referred to as Election Day, Trump’s popular vote lead was about 4.5 million; now it’s down to 2.4 million and decreasing, but should still hold.

One of the most dishonest, slimiest members of Congress is speaking out after news broke on Monday that DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith is moving to drop all charges against Donald Trump. Adam Schiff, who California saw fit to elect to the U.S. Senate recently, blew up on social media, attacking the Biden administration and the court system for supposedly failing to uphold the rule of law.
As RedState reported, Smith cited two OLC opinions on a sitting president not being prosecutable in his decision. He also left the door open for future charges after Trump leaves office by not dismissing the current ones with prejudice,

Thanks to Joe Biden, our military has become a joke. But Donald Trump has a plan to purge the military of wokeness and make it strong again.
According to a report from The Times of London, defense sources say that Trump is preparing an executive order to reinstate his transgender ban in the U.S. military.
The order, which could be issued on his first day back in the White House on Jan. 20, would reportedly result in the medical discharge of approximately 15,000 active-duty transgender service members, deeming them unfit to serve.
It would also lead to a ban on trans people joining the military

After Hurricane Helene which left untold thousands of western North Carolina (WNC) residents homeless, volunteer Amish carpenters showed up to build temporary shelters, but the heartwarming story has a bitter ending.
There are a couple of stories here that the mainstream media hasn't reported on much. The first is that FEMA, for whatever reason, has not been up to the task after Helen destroyed or damaged approximately 100,000 homes in WNC, impacting more than 200,000 people. People are living in trailers or even tents all these weeks later — and as temperatures drop.
Here's the video aerial video that Matt von Swol took last week.

Now that former congressman Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) is no longer a threat to Democrats, they are on to the next one in President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet.
On Sunday, Democrat Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) warned viewers on CNN that former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) is “compromised” and is like a “Russian asset.”
Host Dana Bash asked Duckworth, who served with Gabbard in the House, what she thought of the former Democrat, accusing her of promoting Russian propaganda.
“Well, I think she’s compromised,” Duckworth began. “I think by going to Syria and basically um, backing you know, a brutal dictator there. I mean Russian controlled media called her a Russian asset.
