You'd be hard pushed to describe Elon Musk or his straight-talking South African father Errol as particularly emotional men.
Yet earlier this year, father and son, who spectacularly fell out when Elon was 'a super-Leftie liberal' (his 78-year-old dad's words), shared a hug for the first time in many years.
The embrace, which happened in March at a party to mark the first successful test flight of Elon's rocket Starship, took place in front of several hundred of the tech billionaire's staff at his space exploration company SpaceX in Boca Chica, Texas.

Former NBC journo Brian Williams appeared on the Seth Meyers show this week and suggested that Democrats have completely lost the working class, which is true, and that it happened because Democrats kept gaslighting the public which was insulting.
He points to the way Democrats kept insisting that the economy was great while prices kept rising to ridiculous levels. He mentions the fact that the border was completely overrun while Democrats insisted that it was under control.
He cites other examples, but it’s all the same theme.

Yale University law professor Samuel Moyn admitted on Friday that the legal efforts to stop President-elect Donald Trump over the past several years have failed and only made him stronger.
Moyn made the declaration in a New York Times guest essay, adding that liberals need to shed the strategy of trying to use the law to stop Trump during his second term.
"The yearslong effort to vanquish Donald Trump in court was a dismal failure," the professor wrote. The Times published Moyn’s essay on the same day that Judge Juan Merchan granted Trump's request to file a motion to dismiss the charges in New York v. Trump and removed

President-Elect Donald Trump nominated Russ Vought on Friday to return as director to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
Trump’s selection of Vought will likely ensure his campaign promise will be carried out of purging the federal bureaucracy — or “deep state,” as he calls it — of rogue and corrupt actors. The OMB is a significant department that oversees the implementation of a president’s vision across the Executive Branch, and through it, Trump has the power to axe agency funding that will likely try to operate outside the scope of his agenda. “Russ knows exactly how to dismantle the Deep State and end Weaponized Government, and he will

The most disgraced media news network could soon be under conservative management if the world’s richest man turns his sights on it.
As Jim Hoft previously reported, MSNBC’s ratings have completely collapsed since President Trump’s historic victory in the 2024 elections.
For example, Andrea Mitchell is down 39.7%, Joy Reid’s Reidout is down 54.6%, All-in w/ Chris Hayes is down 47.2%. Alex Wagner Tonight is down 53.6%, and Lawrence O’Donnell is down 60.6%. On top of this, several of the network’s biggest ‘stars‘ are facing massive pay cuts as a result of the falling ratings.

The Trump Transition Is Winning Good Marks.
If the aftermath of Donald Trump’s victory on Election Day feels joyous and tranquil, you are not alone. American households and businesses are much more serene and hopeful this time around. Polling released by Pew Research on Friday shows that 70 percent of Americans are very or somewhat confident that the transition to the Trump administration will go smoothly. Similarly, a majority of Americans say they have a positive evaluation of Trump’s post-election conduct.

Federal funding for the nation’s largest abortion provider could be on the chopping block under the direction of Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy and the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
In a joint op-ed in the Wall Street Journal published on Wednesday, Musk and Ramaswamy laid out their plans to cut federal overspending and to return power to the “people we elect [to] run the government” rather than unelected bureaucrats. Part of this plan involves slashing millions in funding awarded to “progressive groups like Planned Parenthood,” they wrote.

Oklahoma Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin has blocked the promotion of the "last US soldier out of Afghanistan" to get his fourth star and become commander of US Army Europe. Lieutenant General Christopher Donahue is currently the commanding general of the Army's XVIII Airborne Corps and once and future Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Tellingly, his was the only one of nearly 1,000 military promotions not approved as the Senate recessed for Thanksgiving. Someone familiar with the affair confirmed Mullins removing Donahue from the promotion list was directly related to Donahue's role in Afghanistan.
