You'd be hard pushed to describe Elon Musk or his straight-talking South African father Errol as particularly emotional men.
Yet earlier this year, father and son, who spectacularly fell out when Elon was 'a super-Leftie liberal' (his 78-year-old dad's words), shared a hug for the first time in many years.
The embrace, which happened in March at a party to mark the first successful test flight of Elon's rocket Starship, took place in front of several hundred of the tech billionaire's staff at his space exploration company SpaceX in Boca Chica, Texas.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) is calling on Republicans to repeal a federal law that the pro-abortion Biden administration has used to put pro-life activists behind bars.
Roy and Sen. Mike Lee introduced a bill in September of 2023 to repeal the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, contending at the time that “Biden’s Department of Justice has brazenly weaponized the FACE Act against normal everyday Americans across the political spectrum, simply because they are pro-life.” Roy further said he thinks the law is “an unconstitutional federal takeover of state police powers.”
“Obviously, we need to move the bill forward, and it would be critical because of what we’re seeing

Former NBC journo Brian Williams appeared on the Seth Meyers show this week and suggested that Democrats have completely lost the working class, which is true, and that it happened because Democrats kept gaslighting the public which was insulting.
He points to the way Democrats kept insisting that the economy was great while prices kept rising to ridiculous levels. He mentions the fact that the border was completely overrun while Democrats insisted that it was under control.
He cites other examples, but it’s all the same theme.

Yale University law professor Samuel Moyn admitted on Friday that the legal efforts to stop President-elect Donald Trump over the past several years have failed and only made him stronger.
Moyn made the declaration in a New York Times guest essay, adding that liberals need to shed the strategy of trying to use the law to stop Trump during his second term.
"The yearslong effort to vanquish Donald Trump in court was a dismal failure," the professor wrote. The Times published Moyn’s essay on the same day that Judge Juan Merchan granted Trump's request to file a motion to dismiss the charges in New York v. Trump and removed

With Michigan swing voters, 3-in-10 said Cheney’s endorsement made them less enthusiastic about Harris, while only 23 percent said they were more enthusiastic.

The Texan trainer is commonly used by the US Air Force to train pilots for advanced jets like the F-16. Katie touched on this earlier this morning. We all knew the hush money trial was in trouble since Donald J. Trump won the 2024 election. The now-president-elect wouldn’t be sentenced to jail if he beat Kamala Harris, and Judge Juan Merchan made a series of moves before Election Day to ensure that sentencing could go either way.
We all know this case was a political hack job, where the statute of limitations was toyed with, and definitions of the crimes Trump stood accused of involving his alleged tryst with Stormy Daniels were stretched to the limits of reason.

In 2008, then-Senator John McCain made the interesting choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate in the presidential election. It was an interesting choice, but the problem for John McCain was that the charismatic and attractive Sarah Palin quickly overshadowed him on the campaign trail. Like a lot of people at that time, curious about the Alaska Governor, I decided to go to the source and bought a copy of her book "Going Rogue."
It was an interesting read. I won't go into detail; this isn't a book review. Suffice it to say that I agreed with Mrs. Palin on many things and disagreed on a few.

The internet exploded this week with rumors that former GOP Rep. Mike Rogers was being considered as FBI Chief by President-elect Donald Trump in his second term.
Mike Rogers recently lost his senate race in Michigan following a late night ballot dump that gave the race to unpopular Democrat Elissa Slotkin in Michigan. Rogers did not question the results and congratulated Slotkin in her win in a state that went for President Trump by nearly 80,000 votes.
Maybe Rogers did not complain about his loss since he was very vocal trashing President Trump in 2020 for contesting the highly controversial and improbable results of the 2020 election.

The nomination of former Florida AG Pam Bondi for the position of U.S. Attorney General is a big mistake; not for the corrupt background of Bondi that we presume President Trump is not aware of, but rather for the background of Pam Bondi the Deep Swamp is almost certainly aware of.
Within the background story of state AG corruption and unlawful activity, Pam Bondi is very easily leveraged, blackmailed and controlled.
I presume at this writing that President Donald Trump is completely unaware of what Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi did during her time in office.

The DoD is made up of 28 entities that operate under the Pentagon and the following are the specifics of their audit results:
Nine entities received an unmodified audit opinion i.e. financial statements are accurate and comply with financial reporting standards,
One entity received a qualified opinion, i.e. the auditor expresses some reservations about a company's financial statements,
Fifteen received disclaimers. i.e. auditors weren't provided sufficient information to form an accurate opinion of the accounts.

We are witnessing a historic counterrevolution after Trump's victory, far different from his first election in 2016.
The orthodox and the supposed scripted future are now suspect. And they are likely to be dethroned -- from the trivial to the existential.
Critics claim Trump has no mandate to stage such a counterrevolution. They argue that he did not win 51 percent of the popular vote or achieve a Reaganesque landslide in the Electoral College.
Yet all the initiatives he advanced and won on polled landslide public approval. Despite being the target of Democrat lawfare for years, a defiant Trump promised to end an open border, massive illegal immigration, rising crime, and soaring prices.

Former FBI Director Andrew McCabe said the bureau would be endangered if Kash Patel, a former aide to President-elect Trump, is nominated and confirmed to lead the agency.
“No part of the FBI’s mission is safe with Kash Patel in any position of leadership in the FBI, and certainly not in the Deputy Director’s job,” McCabe told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on Thursday evening, adding that “The scope of authority is enormous.” “If you enter into that position with nothing more than a desire to disrupt and destroy the organization, there is a lot of damage someone like Kash Patel could do,” he said.

A mentally challenged President Joe Biden turned 82 years old this week, a much-diminished man from his heyday as a Democratic Party Senate stalwart in the last century. But one part of his character is undimmed by the passage of the years: His legendary spite and gleeful willingness to betray his political foes.
Knowing this, is he now about to set off a third world war to settle an election score with newly re-elected President Donald Trump, who Biden still calls an “existential threat” to America?
We’re talking of course of Biden’s inexplicably dangerous decision to encourage Ukraine to use long-range U.S. missiles against Russian territory, which has already prompted a response

President-Elect Donald Trump’s nomination of Pete Hegseth for secretary of defense has sparked predictable criticism, largely centered on claims of inexperience and unpreparedness — entirely from the experts who have been wrong about everything in the defense and foreign policy realm for the past 20 years.
Yet a careful review of Hegseth’s background, paired with historical context and the challenges facing the Department of Defense, demonstrates that he is not only qualified but also uniquely positioned to lead in a time when bold, reform-minded leadership is desperately needed.

MSNBC has faced widespread backlash after publishing an opinion piece sympathizing with the killer of Laken Riley.
Legal analyst Danny Cevallos came under fire for his take on the Georgia nursing student's brutal murder and the trial of Jose Ibarra, 25, an illegal immigrant and member of Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, published under a headline saying he 'never stood a chance.'
Ibarra was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on Thursday, as a judge found him guilty after hearing volumes of damning evidence, including Ibarra's DNA found under Laken's fingernails from when she fought for her life.

Disclaimer: This article discusses explicit sexual acts.
What you’re going to hear now and in the coming days from the national media is that there are “graphic” details in a police report related to an alleged sexual assault involving Pete Hegseth, President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming nominee for Defense secretary. It’s certainly graphic, but the media will bet you won’t bother reading the report, which in reality looks really bad for the alleged victim and effectively clears Hegseth of criminality.

MSNBC slashed star anchor Rachel Maddow’s annual salary by $5 million as the left-leaning network continues to reel from parent company Comcast’s decision to spin off its struggling cable properties, according to a report.
Maddow — who rakes in $30 million a year for hosting “The Rachel Maddow Show” just one day a week on Mondays — renegotiated for a $25 million salary for the next five years, the Ankler reported on Thursday.
“This is a difficult time and they needed to keep her,” one executive told the news site. “No one else can do what she does. You can’t build a brand like it overnight.”

Former President Bill Clinton bemoaned the presence of “zillions of new websites” in a Thursday interview with MSNBC host Jonathan Capehart, saying Democrats were “not even being heard” during the 2024 presidential campaign.
Former President Donald Trump secured the 270 electoral votes necessary to win the presidency early Nov. 6, while Republicans picked up four seats in the Senate and are projected to hold the House of Representatives. Clinton said Democrats were “not even being heard” in rural areas, saying he “tried to help.”“Politics is the only business in which you can prove your authenticity by not knowing anything. You know?

In a recent news, we learned that the murderous Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) is now in 16 states in the U.S., committing crimes openly and brazenly. These gang members’ many horrific acts include robbery and murder, gang rape, assaults, shakedowns, burying people alive, and even beheadings and public executions. They are reputed to be more violent than the notorious Salvadoran gang MS-13.
TdA first gained notoriety on August 18, when a video showed gang members wandering through an Aurora, Colorado apartment building, brandishing guns, knocking on doors, even breaking off locks and entering apartments unbidden. In this instance, it appears they were shaking down residents

Nancy Mace issued a brutal verbal takedown to a transgender activist who confronted the congresswoman over her campaign to ban transgender women from using women's bathrooms on Capitol Hill.
Mace, a South Carolina Republican, caused a commotion in DC this week after demanding that Delaware Democrat Sarah McBride not be allowed into women's facilities around Congress.
McBride, the first transgender person elected to Congress, has agreed to abide by the rules after Speaker of the House Mike Johnson endorsed Mace's proposal.

As a stalwart Trump ally, Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA) will soon join the incoming administration and work closely with Elon Musk and Ohio businessman Vivek Ramaswamy. Rumors suggest that MTG will chair the new subcommittee created by House Oversight and Accountability Chair James Comer (R-Ky.)., which aims to reduce the federal government’s workforce and regulations. Musk and Ramaswamy will also work alongside Greene on the committee.
The panel, the Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency, or DOGE, will eradicate wasteful spending, fraud, and ongoing abuse within the federal government.

Trump and Vance Are Newly Popular Among Younger Voters
The youth of America love a winner.Donald Trump and JD Vance saw a surge in their favorability rating among voters aged 18 to 29 following their victory on Election Day, survey data from the Economist and YouGov show. Younger voters also became significantly more optimistic about their personal finances in the year ahead.
Vice President-elect Vance’s favorability rating among 18 to 29-year-olds jumped to 43 percent, with his disapproval rating slipping to 31 percent. In the final October poll from YouGov and the Economist, just 31 percent of younger voters said they had a favorable view of Vance, and 48 percent

Rashida Tlaib is constantly spreading lies about Israel. This time, Israeli Arab Yoseph Haddad had a great response. Rashida Tlaib is a representative in the US Congress – but she most definitely shouldn’t be. She does not represent the values that the US stands for.
Tlaib is constantly slamming Israel based on a false narrative. She spreads lies about the one and only Jewish state. She claims that Israel is an apartheid state. And it is too perfect that an Israeli ARAB responded in this video telling her how wrong she is.

Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski sported glum looks as they returned to their Manhattan penthouse after MSNBC reportedly slashed fellow star Rachel Maddow's salary amid sagging ratings.
The pair's secret Mar-a-Lago meeting with Donald Trump has resulted in viewers abandoning the liberal network and critics accusing them of hypocrisy, even though they dismissed the controversy on their show Tuesday.
Their careers could be in flux as parent company Comcast looks set to 'spin-off' MSNBC amid radical changes which led the co-hosts to joke they could lose that very penthouse earlier this week.

When the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and its former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, it may have unwittingly dragged the United States into the scuffle. Under the terms of the Rome Statute, the ICC's founding treaty, signatories are bound to arrest and extradite anyone targeted by the ICC. When Russian President Vladimir Putin was served with an ICC arrest warrant in March 2023 (see International Criminal Court Issues Arrest Warrant for Vladimir Putin and Putin's War, Week 56. Brittany Patterson lives in a rural part of Georgia with her four kids. Her husband is a superintendent at a school in Montana and is away much of the time. Last month, Patterson had to take one of her children to the doctor's office. She left her 10-year-old son Soren (he's nearly 11) at home with her father, the boy's grandfather.
At some point, Soren decided to go for a walk to a local gas station where he knew his best friend's grandmother was working. He didn't ask permission, he just went. Someone saw him walking along the road and called police.

Thursday morning began with news that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for "war crimes and crimes against humanity." Oh, and for good measure, a warrant was included for Mohammed Deif, a Hamas leader thought to be one of the masterminds behind the October 7 attacks in Israel. Who also happens to be dead.
As streiff observed:
The fact that the ICC ignored Hamas' responsibility for the October 7 massacre until they could slop in a healthy dose of "bothsidesism" by condemning those settler-colonists shows what a monumentally unserious organization the ICC is.

Many members of the news media were blindsided by the results of the 2024 elections. Their coverage was utterly detached from the issues voters care about. The economy was treated as an afterthought among wealthy Democrats who make up most of the population of legacy media newsrooms and TV production meetings.
On the Friday before the election, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released its October jobs report. A gain of 108,000 jobs had been expected, but the actual number was just 12,000. It was the worst jobs report since the pandemic. The private sector lost 28,000 jobs while government growth added 40,000 public sector employees.

9Cellular carriers have told Congress they possess intact phone usage data from the vicinity where two pipe bombs were planted during the Jan. 6 incident, directly disputing FBI testimony that agents couldn't identify a suspect because the phone data was corrupted, a key House chairman tells Just the News. The revelations from Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., the chairman of the House Administration oversight subcommittee, adds new intrigue to a debate that has gripped Washington for nearly four years: Why can't the FBI with so much evidence and manpower identify the suspect who planted the explosive devices at the Democrat and Republican Party headquarters hours before the Capitol was breached.
