McConnell may play key role on Trump’s
controversial Cabinet picks

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) will be under the microscope when it comes to President-elect Trump’s most contentious Cabinet nominees, with senators watching closely to see if he will oppose confirming former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) as attorney general or former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard for director of national intelligence. McConnell, who clashed with Trump and is leaving his leadership position in the new Congress, will turn 83 in February and is up for reelection in 2026. Crossing Trump could make his road to another term more difficult, but it’s also far from clear that he would seek another six years in the Senate.

The only role McConnell is fit for is pushing up daisies after the Grim Reaper pays him his will deserved final visit. Corrupt Traitor. He needs to be investigated for his ties to the Communist Chinese.

McConnell is of the same ilk as McCain was. McCain, on HIS way "out" was the spoiler vote that kept Obamacare from being overturned. McConnell has one of the lowest approval ratings in govt. What does have to lose by poking his nemesis Donald in the eye before he leaves the Senate?

And this, Ladies and Gentlemen, is the definition of “snake;” and why we voted for PDJT. FTA: “ Both Graham and Cramer likened his potential role in the 119th Congress to that of former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who McConnell praised her recently for how she has transitioned out of leadership. She departed as Democratic leader two years ago. “I think Pelosi has done a pretty good job as a former Speaker, still being able to express herself and have an audience,” McConnell said in late October. “I’m hopeful people will still care what I think.””

McConnell will do nothing to help Trump, and will work behind the scenes to stop him. Kari Lake had Trump's endorsement and he refused to help her. His political career is over, so he has nothing to lose.

If congestion pricing, now less than two months away from its new January start date, ever dies for good, it will have been tortured to death — by Gov. Kathy Hochul. Hochul’s botch of the toll to drive into core Manhattan is so epic, you must wonder: Is she this bad at politics, or is she doing it on purpose? Last Thursday, five months after her June “pause” on congestion pricing weeks before it was set to start, She now wants to start collecting cash from drivers entering Manhattan below 60th Street on Jan. 5. She’s made superficially good changes:

President-elect Donald Trump confirmed Monday he would declare a “national emergency” to deport illegal migrants using military force once he steps back into office. Trump made the statement on Truth Social, responding “TRUE!!!” in response to a post from Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton saying there are reports he would do so. “GOOD NEWS: Reports are the incoming @RealDonaldTrump administration prepared to declare a national emergency and will use military assets to reverse the Biden invasion through a mass deportation program,” Fitton wrote on the social media platform.

Donald Trump is not in power. He has more than 2 months till he takes power. Yet, the very resounding election of Donald Trump, along with a Republican victory in the Senate and House of Representatives, is already sending major shockwaves across the Middle East. Donald Trump will not necessarily bomb Iran. But he will most certainly bankrupt them, as Mike Huckabee says. That scares the living daylights out of Iran also. There is very little doubt about this.

Leftwing “Morning Joe” hosts and vicious Donald Trump critics Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski revealed Monday they had a “personal” sit-down with the president-elect in Florida to “restart communications” — after conceding that voters overwhelmingly made their choice. The MSNBC co-hosts, who have repeatedly bashed the Republican on-air over the years, said they had a face-to-face with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate on Friday — their first meeting in seven years — after reaching out in the wake of his election win. “Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country.

Several people fired flares at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private home Sunday morning, igniting a fire next to it. Shocking video of the incident shows the moment one of the two flares is fired at the house in Caesarea, landing in the yard and starting a fire beside a central air unit. Three people were arrested in the incident, which occurred when the PM and his family were not at home. It should not be “possible for the Prime Minister of Israel, who is threatened by Iran and its proxies who are trying to assassinate him, to be subject to the same threats from home,”

The October 7, 2023 attacks carried out against Israel by Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists.... was the direct result of Tehran's ability to fund the terrorist movement to the tune of $100 million a year, an operation that would not have been possible without Biden's lenient attitude towards the ayatollahs. Trump may come to see as well that, unfortunately, due to the deep-seated commitment of Iran's regime in exporting its brand of Islam, as enshrined in its constitution, there can be no real long-term peace in the Middle East without regime change, especially if Iran has nuclear weapons -- not to mention the global arms race that would follow such an event.

Many people are discussing who President Trump will appoint to two positions: (1) Director of the National Security Agency (NSA); and (2) The Director of the FBI. Without actually realizing it, both of these positions are fundamentally tethered. The NSA Director is the librarian of the Intelligence Community. The NSA gathers, collects, intercepts and stores the metadata of every electronic transmission, including communication. The Director of the NSA is in charge of that massive responsibility to protect and guard the library. The FBI Director is the chief customer of that library. On the domestic investigative side, the intelligence side, and the counterintelligence side of all FBI operations,

There is no moral or legal equivalence between non-violent mischief — such as tearing down flags and shouting racial insults — and committing life-threatening assaults upon people based on their religion and ethnicity. The anti-Israel rioters were hunting down Jews... Muslim extremists have a long history of hurling spears in response to non-violent insults. Recall the numerous deadly attacks — shootings, stabbings, bombings and lethal fatwas—against those who allegedly insulted the prophet by picturing him or authoring books about him. There was also violence against those who burned Korans or otherwise demeaned Islam. Even cartoons provoked deadly responses.

It’s been only a week since the presidential election, but let’s ask the following questions anyway: WHAT DID RED GAIN? The White House — Oval Office. The U.S. Senate. The U.S. House of Representatives. The Electoral College. The popular vote. All seven swing states. State governor majority. State Legislature majority.

It’s high time to shatter the myth of Nancy Pelosi as a master strategist. Nobody deserves more blame than the ridiculously self-titled “speaker emerita” for the Democrats’ $1 billion electoral collapse. Under her ruthless leadership, her party lost the White House, the House, the Senate and the popular vote. You can’t say that enough. Voters rejected the Dems coast to coast, even in Pelosi’s deepest-blue home city of San Francisco, which saw a 7-point swing to Donald Trump. She’s the only speaker in history to have lost control of the House twice. She’s finished.

President Biden has reportedly given Ukraine permission to deploy US-supplied longe-range missiles to attack targets in Russian territory just weeks before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. Ukraine said it plans to take advantage of the policy change within days. The dramatic shift in policy comes as Ukraine has faced setbacks on the battlefield and after months of requests by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to allow Ukraine’s military to use US weapons to hit Russian military targets far from its border. Trump had pledged that he will end the war once he takes office in January. “As President Trump has said on the campaign trail, he is the only person who
