What started as a Texas farmer’s love for exotic chickens has led to armed federal agents storming her farm, killing her prized birds, and a possible 20-year prison sentence for bringing rare eggs into the country.
Jennifer Mayo, who owns a chicken farm in South Texas, has found herself at the center of a federal smuggling case that has destroyed her business and left her fighting for her freedom.
The farmer’s story begins with a passion project that grew into a flourishing business enterprise. She started with nine birds about five years ago. Her collection eventually expanded into 39 different breeds of chickens,

“I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments by those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.” James Madison
Mighty and loud revolutions have happened in history and with some degree of frequency. However, the most insidious “revolutions” are the ones mentioned by James Madison in the quote above. That kind of revolution is, no doubt, the one the Democratic Party and Marxist Left have in mind for America because they have been trying to impose it upon the country for the past two generations.
They almost succeeded but got too greedy the past four years,

As North Carolina Hurricane Helene victims continue to struggle, FEMA reportedly refuses to deploy empty RV trailers to help them.
According to an unnamed N.C. lawmaker, FEMA has multiple empty RV trailers sitting in the N.C. town of Hickory — trailers that critics say could be used to provide housing to those who’ve lost their homes. [Tweet, video]
“Don’t use my name, but a constituent called me yesterday asking about all the FEMA housing units and trailers that are staged in Hickory,” the lawmaker wrote in a private message to Cassie Clark, an N.C. influencer.
“They’ve been there for a few weeks. I asked FEMA what they were

Sounding like a broken record, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was once again boasting about how much cheaper Thanksgiving meals will be this year under the Biden-Harris administration.
In addition to noting that the average price of a Thanksgiving Day meal fell 5 percent, KJP boasted about gas prices being down .25 cents per gallon. However, the administration still does not seem to grasp that any focus on pricing invites a larger analysis that doesn’t work out in its favor. When looking at price fluctuations compared to the previous administration, consumer costs are still up significantly.
On that note, voters let their sentiments be known on Election Day,

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) is calling on Republicans to repeal a federal law that the pro-abortion Biden administration has used to put pro-life activists behind bars.
Roy and Sen. Mike Lee introduced a bill in September of 2023 to repeal the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, contending at the time that “Biden’s Department of Justice has brazenly weaponized the FACE Act against normal everyday Americans across the political spectrum, simply because they are pro-life.” Roy further said he thinks the law is “an unconstitutional federal takeover of state police powers.”
“Obviously, we need to move the bill forward, and it would be critical because of what we’re seeing

Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaigning with ousted congresswoman Liz Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, on the presidential campaign trail may have cost her support with swing voters in Michigan and Pennsylvania, new election data reveals.
The data, published by Data for Progress, asked voters in Michigan and Pennsylvania if they were more enthusiastic or less enthusiastic about Harris after she campaigned with Cheney.
With Michigan swing voters, 3-in-10 said Cheney’s endorsement made them less enthusiastic about Harris, while only 23 percent said they were more enthusiastic.
Similarly, in Pennsylvania, 28 percent of swing voters said they were less enthusiastic about Harris after she campaigned with Cheney,

As previously reported, Democrat Mayor Mike Johnston of Denver, Colorado, declared war on President Trump’s efforts to enforce immigration policies.
President Trump has vowed to deport criminal aliens first as part of his mass deportation plan.
However, Mayor Johnston declared war on Trump and said he will use city police and local volunteers to physically prevent the deportation of illegal immigrants, including those with potential gang affiliations. (Snip) Meanwhile, an illegal alien was arrested for raping a 14-year-old girl in Denver.
20-year-old Jesus Alberto Pereira Castillo was arrested and charged for raping a minor teen girl in Denver as Mayor Johnston declared war on Trump’s plan to deport aliens like Castillo.

President Trump plans to fire Jack Smith’s entire team of prosecutors and will use the Justice Department to investigate the 2020 election.
The Washington Post, citing Trump Transition sources, reported that Trump will fire Jack Smith’s team of activist lawyers and use the DOJ to assemble a team to investigate the stolen 2020 election.
“President-elect Donald Trump plans to fire the entire team that worked with special counsel Jack Smith to pursue two federal prosecutions against the former president, including career attorneys typically protected from political retribution,” WaPo reported.
“Trump is also planning to assemble investigative teams within the Justice Department to hunt for evidence in battleground states

Yes, there is yet another new nomination Friday evening from the Trump transition team, and it's for another weighty role in the incoming administration--the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. [Tweet]
In a statement, President Trump wrote that he will tap former GOP U.S. representative, Dr. Dave Weldon:
I am thrilled to announce that former Congressman, Dr. Dave Weldon, is nominated to serve as Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In addition to being a Medical Doctor for 40 years, and an Army Veteran, Dave has been a respected conservative leader on fiscal and social issues,

This week has been especially bad for the ladies of The View, who, for the third time this week, have had to read a legal note on-air after making damaging claims about President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet picks.
On Friday, Co-host Sunny Hostin appeared frustrated after receiving a legal note from the show’s producers mandating that she read it on-air to cover their bases.
While discussing Trump’s pick for attorney general, former Florida attorney general Pam Bondi, after former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) withdrew his name from being considered, Hostin amplified unverified allegations regarding bribery involving Bond and her involvement with Trump University.

Katie touched on this earlier this morning. We all knew the hush money trial was in trouble since Donald J. Trump won the 2024 election. The now-president-elect wouldn’t be sentenced to jail if he beat Kamala Harris, and Judge Juan Merchan made a series of moves before Election Day to ensure that sentencing could go either way.
We all know this case was a political hack job, where the statute of limitations was toyed with, and definitions of the crimes Trump stood accused of involving his alleged tryst with Stormy Daniels were stretched to the limits of reason.

It took just minutes for the left-wing media to have a liberal meltdown over President-elect Donald Trump’s new attorney general pick after Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL ) dropped out over sex-related allegations.
Florida’s former attorney general, Pam Bondi, will serve as the next attorney general of the United States under the Trump Administration. As Republicans celebrate and applaud the president-elect’s pick, Democrats are already hitting the panic button due to her tough-on-immigration stance and vocal opposition to President Joe Biden’s expose of his family’s ties to the corrupt Ukrainian gas company Burisma.
In other words, Bondi won’t pander to the left.
