Necessity is the mother of invention and nobody knows that better than the residents of northeast Tennessee.
Following the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, many were left stranded while awaiting intervention from the government. Locals and volunteers eventually got tired of waiting and crafted a makeshift bridge with what they had handy.

Singer Oliver Anthony posted his own update on what it looks like on the ground in these hurricane-ravaged areas where it feels like residents have all but been forgotten by the people who are supposed to help them. [Video]

Shoppers at a Chicago convenience store delivered eye-opening responses to who they would be voting for in the presidential election.
With less than two weeks to go before the pivotal 2024 election, Americans in the heartland stunned a convenience store worker with their passionate responses when asked whether they would be voting for the Democrat nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris.
With Harris and Trump courting the black and Latino vote in the waning weeks of the election cycle, Democrats have been confident the voting blocs will still come out in favor of their candidate. But, in a video posted by Harris supporter and YouTuber Khalid Attaf, things may not be so rosy.

Can you feel the joy now?
NBC’s Parks and Recreation actor Nick Offerman is getting slammed after he released a new election-themed music video that celebrates a senior citizen being repeatedly punched and kicked in the stomach by a group of kids because he didn’t vote for Kamala Harris, with Offerman warning people that this could be their fate if they sit out the November election.
“You’d better vote / don’t let this moment pass / or future generations will kick your wrinkly ass,” he sings.
The song also advocates for kids to chase down seniors, flog them with their canes, and to even “break your brittle bones.”

WWE legend Hulk Hogan is explaining his appearance at the 2024 Republican National Convention this year, saying that the assassination attempts on Trump forced him to get involved.
Speaking to the PBD Podcast on Wednesday, Hogan said that the attempt on Trump’s life in Pennsylvania in July was a catalyst for him, Fox News reported.
“When they tried to kill Trump, someone that I knew personally, it affected me worse,” Hogan said. “I sat up off the couch, and I said, ‘That’s it, this has to stop.’ I don’t want to split my audience as a businessman, but now I don’t care. This is much more important than business.

The Harris-Walz campaign now has the Left eating itself.
On Tuesday the Los Angeles Times declined to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris for president. On Friday, the Washington Post said the same. And now, a Hollywood leftist vs. Democrat media complex civil war has kicked off for the world to see, with major entertainment industry figures flaunting their canceled subscriptions and bashing billionaires on Trump-backer Elon Musk’s X.
The Batman and James Bond movie star Jeffrey Wright shared a screenshot of his WaPo cancellation, saying “Washington Post. Hometown paper. Grew up with it. Bye, byatch.”

Former Biden White House Adviser Susan Rice melted down on X after the Washington Post refused to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris, marking a highly embarrassing moment for her campaign.
Rice, who critics said actually was a de facto president under Biden, blasted the leftist outlet in a series of tweets Friday afternoon, first saying she is “disgusted.”
“As a DC native and lifelong subscriber to the Post, I’m disgusted. You have lost us,” she wrote in her first post. [Tweet]
Rice’s rage did not let up. Three minutes later, she mocked the Post’s slogan, “Democracy Dies in Darkness.”

An illegal alien is accused of killing 29-year-old Grayson Christopher Davis in a drunk driving crash in Bastrop County, Texas. Davis’s family says his death should have never happened.
Jorge Miguel Peralta, a 35-year-old illegal alien, was arrested and charged with intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle, a second-degree felony.
According to police, on Oct. 13, Peralta caused a multi-car crash after driving drunk. Grayson Davis was driving that evening when his mother, Ashley Davis, says she got a text message saying her son was hit by a truck.

We reported on the awful story of Jocelyn Nungaray, the 12-year-old who was raped and murdered in Houston allegedly by two illegal aliens in June. On Friday, her mother Alexis appeared alongside Donald Trump and said she will “forever be a grieving mother” and that her daughter would still be here, had Joe Biden and Kamala Harris done their duty and protected the border.
Heartbreaking: [Tweet, video]
She was just being a kid, Alexis said:
Jocelyn’s mother Alexis Nungaray stood with Trump as he pledged mass deportations of immigrants and the death penalty for all immigrants who murder a U.S. citizen.

Amber Matthews, a 23-year-old TikTokker from Montclair, New Jersey, has staked her claim for entry into the dumbest criminals of all-time Hall of Fame.
Matthews not only mistakenly tore down Greek flags hanging outside an incredibly Greek restaurant in town named Efi's Gyro, all the while thinking they were Israeli flags. But the video she posted to social media was used by police to track her down and make an arrest.
She essentially ID'd herself. The level of special here is off the charts.
First off, RedState's own Teri Christoph shared a remarkable video of the incident in which Matthews was seen tearing down Greek flags

I think Democrats are starting to realize they made a big mistake with their installation of Kamala Harris without even one vote of the American people in the primary for the top position.
We're starting to see that panic set in with them, the recriminations, and the disbelief that former President Donald Trump — who has been talking tabletop issues — could be ahead of Harris — who just keeps spewing about "Hitler." She also went in some weird direction by embracing former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney, which is likely costing her more folks on the left while not really gaining her people in the middle.

It's been an incredibly bad week for the mainstream media and we are so here for it.
First, it was the Los Angeles Times, whose staffers erupted in meltdowns over the decision made by its owner, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, not to endorse a presidential nominee in the 2024 election. It was an incredibly significant moment considering Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris is from California and had previously been endorsed by the Times during her Senate run.
LA Times editorial page editor Mariel Garza was especially indignant over the decision, resigning in disgust.
"It makes us look craven and hypocritical, maybe even a bit sexist and racist,"
