Car insurance rates have skyrocketed under the leadership of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, and Americans are feeling the squeeze.
Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show that car insurance prices rose 55 percent from January 2021 — when Biden and Harris first took office — to July 2024 — the last year of their first term.
Once again, their policies are to blame. As Breitbart News previously reported, Americans’ auto insurance rates are rapidly rising due to the pro-migration policies of Biden and Harris, putting millions of these new migrant drivers — “often without driver training or English language lessons” — on the road, increasing risk.

The Invaders drive without licenses or insurance, and always leave the scene of the accidents they cause. And you're wondering why your auto insurance premiums increased?

Well, what do the insurance companies have to pay for?
-Medical costs for injured persons,
-Auto parts, paints, and labor for damaged cars,
-Lawyers to represent them in court,
Costs for all three have gone through the roof, so what do you expect the insurance companies to do?
They have to raise rates or go bankrupt.
It's Bidenomics in action.

Part of that insurance rate increase is because of their promotion of electric vehicles. Just getting a stone dent in the battery (which is essentially the floor pan of the car) is enough damage to total one of these. Also driving one of them through water can cause a battery fire. The EV cars are probably treated as part of the same risk pool as gasoline powered cars and cause the insurance cost for everyone to rise.

It's Kamala's bugbear "price gauging" (sic), which requires a large, intrusive bureaucracy to fight, even if prices aren't actually being "gauged." Donks love employing useless bureaucrats, who are themselves Democrats, by the millions.

Part of these increases can be attributed to Biden's Inflation Reduction Act that forces DEI mandates on companies including Insurance Companies. You can see it with their advertising that's featuring minorities and also when they have hired DEI "specialists" to managing their hiring procedures. All this cost of this EQUITY CRAP is passed along to consumers. Just the INSIDIOUS transformation of America as promised by Obama to place our nation in a two tier economy with liberal elitists profiting as they carefully assume the roles of dictatorships. It's right on the horizon comrades so buckle up!

That's our government, always demanding that good, hardworking citizens bail out the parasites and the riff-raff.

As a retired Insurance agent (43 years at it) You can be sure that it's mainly (Biden's) inflation driving up the auto rates. Repair costs, medical costs ( I had to have an ambulance trip a couple of months ago...$1,700 for a ten mile trip), wages, etc etc.
Insurance companies, as greedy as they seem to be at times, are not in the business because it's fun. If they can't make a profit or even break even, they will drop that line of insurance or withdraw from a state entirely. Several in Florida have had flooded cars to total and pay for and not only getting reamed by huge hurricane losses on property claims. In California, wildfires and a hostile, anti-business climate has run many companies out of the state. Some say let the government step in and offer insurance at better prices. If you had ever had to deal with getting a claim paid under the Federal Flood Insurance program as I have, you really don't want those inept bureaucrats in charge of providing your insurance.
Apologies for the long post but I am afraid we are headed for some real insurance problems in the coming years.
