Warming Alarmists Again Give Away Their
Real Objective

Original Article

What do the climate activists really want? Do they have nothing more in mind than a noble crusade to prevent the burning sky from falling on us? Or is the global warming scare just another piece of the revolution? It’s of course the latter. We know this because they’re constantly telling us it is. The most recent admission comes from Los Angeles Times environmental reporter Rosanna Xia, whose exhausting essay under the headline “To fix climate anxiety (and also climate change), we first have to fix individualism” was posted on Wednesday – yes, Sept. 11.

We had some hot days here in Oklahoma but we also had as many days that stayed in the 80's. In fact more in the 80's and low 90's. I've never lived through such a coolish summer.

More than 30 years ago, Rush LImbaugh told his audience that the Left are communists and that their goal is to control every aspect of everyone’s life through “climate change” or “global warming.” He was right. Now, “individualism”, which is code for freedom, is what the nutjob climate nazis will focus on: You cannot have communism if individuals are free to live their lives as they see fit, so they will go after “individualism.” No thanks. Vote Trump.

It's difficult to imagine a better example of this quote in action: ' The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.' H. L. Mencken

A great cinematic example of that "fix": in "Doctor Zhivago", Omar Sharif returns to Moscow after serving on the front lines. As a doctor in pre-revolutionary Russia, he lived fairly well. He finds his multi-room house now houses 2 dozen indigent people, and all his belongings are being confiscated, "for the people". An instruction manual for such folks as Rosanna Xi.

What "Climate Anxiety"? I am not at all worried about it because my ego isn't big enough to think that humans can change the way the earth rotates on its axis causing the exposure to the sun to occur ergo our climate.

When individuals kill themselves, we look for answers in their DNA, their environments, their personal reactions to feelings of impotent rage, rejection, disappointment, heartbreak, and mental illness. But how to explain group suicide? There are numerous examples, going back to 206 B.C., and these relatively recent cases: In 1943, in the final phase of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, many of the Jewish fighters besieged in the “bunker” at Miła 18 committed mass suicide by ingesting poison rather than surrender to the Nazis. In 1945, about 1,000 residents of Demmin, Germany, committed mass suicide after the Red Army had sacked the town.

The U.S. is sending additional troops to the Middle East in response to a sharp spike in violence between Israel and Hezbollah forces in Lebanon that has raised the risk of a greater regional war, the Pentagon said Monday. Pentagon press secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder would provide no details on how many additional forces or what they would be tasked to do. The U.S. currently has about 40,000 troops in the region. “In light of increased tension in the Middle East and out of an abundance of caution, we are sending a small number of additional U.S. military personnel forward to augment our forces that are already in the region.

If there is one economic dynamic we have talked about on these pages more than the rest, its inflation. {Background} The root causes of inflation are two-fold, monetary policy and energy policy. However, when combined they represent a predictable outcome. Specifically predictable, when it comes to highly consumable goods that require a lot of industrial effort, labor, distribution and warehousing processes. Thus, food inflation was/is worst. Within all of the sectors most vulnerable to upward price pressure as a result of policy (monetary and energy), the main industry impacted by immediate and severe inflation is food, farming and agriculture.

Federal and NYC investigators are scrutinizing a security firm previously owned by Mayor Eric Adams’ top public safety officer amid a jaw-dropping escalation of probes swirling around City Hall, sources told The Post Saturday. Both the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the city’s Department of Investigation are probing City Safe Partners, which was once owned by Deputy Mayor for Public Safety Phil Banks. The company scored a whopping $154 million contract in January to provide “emergency fire watch services” for the New York City Housing Authority, The New York Times reported.

The shift of two major New York City suburbs to the political right could be a boon for former President Trump on Election Day, according to insiders on both sides of the aisle. Traditionally purple, if not leaning blue, Long Island’s Nassau and Suffolk counties went solidly red in the 2022 midterms even though state voter rolls show Democrats outnumber Republicans in both places. And that may be a bellwether of where things are headed in similar communities around the country.

No Republican has won statewide in New Mexico for 10 years. A series of ad buys from multiple political action groups aims to change that this November. Earlier this month, the Piñon Post, a conservative state paper, reported on a new commercial campaign attempting to spoil Democrats’ expectation to maintain the state’s five electoral votes for Kamala Harris and reelect Sen. Martin Heinrich. The ads from a group called Election Freedom, Inc., attack Heinrich and Harris over inflation and the incumbent border crisis.

A very simple ballot counting rule was affirmed by the Georgia election board on Friday in a 3-2 vote. The “hand count” ballot rule (183-1:12) is very basic and simple. Essentially it says all the paper ballots must be hand counted and matched to the number of people recorded electronically to the vote. Example, if 1,000 votes are electronically counted, there should be 1,000 physical ballots to match. This is not complicated and will not take much time. The ballots are not being checked for voting accuracy, or vote recording/candidate specifics.

Hypocrite, thy name is Varma. Believe it or not, it takes a lot for the blue-state diehards of the Big Apple to start paying attention to a conservative commentator. But when Steven Crowder published a secretly recorded video, it cut right through the jugular of our political divides, exposing the open hatred we seem to all share for one type of villain. This human nature is best explained by the poet Dante in The Inferno. Past the heretics, far-beyond the gluttons and usurers, and even below the murderers and blasphemers, the eighth circle of hell is the realm of false prophets and hypocrites.

Moreover, maintaining... economic ties grants legitimacy to the regime, signaling that the European Union is willing to overlook Iran's role in supporting aggression against Ukraine. To stanch this, the EU urgently needs to stop its economic dealings with Iran. Along with cutting economic ties, the EU would also do well to list the IRGC as a terrorist organization and close all Iranian embassies in Europe. The IRGC is the primary force behind Iran's military support for Russia. Isolating it would be a crucial step in weakening Tehran's capacity to destabilize the entire Middle East.

It would be helpful to voters to know that a “whistleblower” says ABC rigged last week’s debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. But outside of conservative media, it’s being largely ignored, because the legacy press covers its own and as zealously as it does the Democratic Party. Whether the claims are true or not – the existence of the whistleblower remains unconfirmed – the mainstream media’s loyalty to Democrats is uncomfortably similar to the relationship Pravda had with the Central Committee of the Soviet Union’s Communist Party.

Kamala Harris on Thursday night attended a star-studded campaign event hosted by Oprah Winfrey, who was forced to nudge the vice president to get to the point during a rambling response to a policy question posed by the audience. The two-hour “Unite for America” livestream event from Michigan was meant to highlight the grassroots organizers that are backing Harris and give voters an opportunity to ask her about her platform — but the Democratic presidential nominee didn’t offer any new policy proposals. At one point in the evening, Harris was questioned about what she would do to secure the southern border.

"Zero Dark Thirty" was a pretty solid movie. I liked it because the producers and director didn’t sugarcoat the way that CIA operatives treated terrorists. Terrorists deserved their fate. The composite protagonist “Maya” was a CIA analyst who worked tirelessly to bring justice down on Osama Bin Laden — AKA a bullet to the brain. After Maya had fingered where Bin Laden was, she met with Leon Panetta, the then-head of the CIA. Panetta was portrayed by James Gandolfini. I don’t object to artistic license when actors portray real people, but Gandolfini was a big man: 6’1” and intimidating. He looked intimidating just standing still. Panetta,
