The New York Times removed a controversial headline of a column critical of Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), Donald Trump’s running mate.
The original headline – “JD Vance’s Blood-and-Soil Nationalism Finds Its Target” – used a term closely associated with the Nazi Party during Adolf Hitler’s reign of Germany. The use of “blood and soil” generated an immediate backlash of accusations that the paper tied Vance’s America First policies with German nationalism espoused by the Nazi party. (X)
The heat appears to have spurred the paper to edit its headline to “Shouldn’t JD Vance Represent All of Ohio?”

f you've been reading my work for a while, you know I'm fond of Sun Tzu's famous work, "The Art of War." There are many nuggets of wisdom from Sun Tzu that apply to conflict of all sorts, including this one: If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
Donald Trump certainly knows himself, just as well as we all know him -

Prosecutors in the Laken Riley case are fighting back against the murder suspect’s bid to suppress certain evidence – including videos authorities claim show the accused ditching key evidence, such as bloody clothes, shortly after the nursing student was killed.
Venezuelan migrant Jose Ibarra, 26, pled not guilty in May to 10 counts connected with the murder of Riley, 22, who was killed Feb. 22 while out for her morning run on the University of Georgia campus in Athens.
In August, Ibarra requested a hearing to potentially suppress a list of evidence, including cellphones, a cheek swab and social media accounts – that he claimed were unlawfully obtained by the police

Eagle Pass, Texas — The Biden-Harris administration released a Venezuelan migrant and his family onto the streets of Eagle Pass after they entered the U.S. via the CBP One cell phone app. The migrants said they were asked no questions regarding asylum or credible fear before being released into the U.S.
Rodrigo, a Venezuelan national who did not want his real name revealed, and his family roamed the streets of Eagle Pass Thursday night in search of a place to sleep. After failing to find any open migrant shelters and with no money, Rodrigo was stuck looking for a place where his children might be able to sleep. Having just been

Former President Donald Trump responded perfectly to people accusing him of being angry during this week’s presidential debate against Vice President Kamala Harris. “People said that I was angry at the debate, angry,” Trump told a crowd in Tuscon, Arizona.
“'I was angry, and yes, I am angry because she allowed 21 million illegal aliens invading our communities. Many of them are criminals,” he said. “I’m angry about Venezuelan gangs taking over Aurora, Colorado, and illegal Haitian migrants taking over Springfield, Ohio. I’m angry about young American girls being raped and sodomized by savage criminal aliens. I’m angry about rampant inflation destroying our Middle Class—

Billionaire Elon Musk on Saturday called out the far-Left’s “love” of “censorship” after a California theater caved to activists’ pressure to cancel showings of Daily Wire film “Am I Racist?”
Following up “What is a Woman?,” “Am I Racist?” is Matt Walsh’s latest documentary, which explores the massive grift of the DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) industry with a man-bun-wearing undercover Walsh.
“As reported by [Robby Starbuck], left wing activists are bullying theaters into dropping our film,” Walsh posted online Saturday. “This theater just issued an apology. The only way to stop the Left from shutting down the film is to support the theaters that are showing it. Tickets here: http://AmIRacist.com.”

The New York Times has warned its readers not to necessarily expect a result on election night in November in the all-important race between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris for the White House.
In a piece entitled Harris or Trump? Once Again, Election Results Could Take Awhile, the paper’s politics reporter urges people hosting election night parties to book hotel rooms for more than one night because of the “intense security measures” that are required to deal with mail-in ballots.
The report explains:
If a winner is not declared on election night, it will not necessarily point to failures in the process. More likely,

When Jimmy Kimmel eventually retires, maybe MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle could take his place. On Friday, Ruhle was not happy with young Republicans who are unpersuaded by Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris because they care more about economic issues than social one because she could not “remember the last time I heard Kamala Harris talk about anything like that.” Meanwhile, RiskReversal Media co-founder Dan Nathan unironically replied by hyping that Harris is supposedly “destroying” Donald Trump on abortion.

I walked away from the Democratic Party and joined the Republicans.
I will vote for Donald Trump for president.
I’ve been a true-blue Democrat, a former California state senator who chaired its Senate Democratic Caucus and served as Senate Majority Leader.
I was a Democratic National Convention delegate for Jesse Jackson and Barack Obama, and state co-chair for President Obama’s re-election.
But I’ve said goodbye, adios, I’ve had enough.
This is not the Democratic Party I once championed. I don’t recognize it anymore.
The so-called “party of democracy” eradicated 14 million votes, including mine, to install Vice President Kamala Harris as its nominee.

Earlier on Friday, President Joe Biden was the featured speaker at a first-ever brunch event at the White House to honor Black Excellence. As my colleague Sister Toldjah wrote, Biden was back to his old tricks, by likely thwarting the carefully curated remarks cobbled together by his minders. Recall when they made a big deal about former President Donald Trump talking about "black jobs"? But there was another moment when Biden spoke off the cuff--possibly from newly written notes, which he gave before the remarks scrolling on the teleprompter. At 24:43 in the video below, Biden delivers the expected, warmed-over, leftist attack of racism against Trump, about the

Former President Donald Trump announced plans to keep illegal immigrants from receiving or renting government-funded housing.
On Thursday, Trump said that if elected, he would ban illegal immigrants from receiving home mortgages and renting apartments in federally subsidized apartment buildings. He would also include conditions in their rental agreements, such as requiring people to show proof of citizenship or legal residency. “When I return to the White House, we will require all companies receiving federal housing subsidies to verify citizenship,” Trump said. “We’re going to make sure that it’s a legal residency as a condition of their rental agreements.”

Of the numerous lies Kamala Harris told the American people on Tuesday night during her first presidential debate against President Donald Trump, one of the most insulting lies was when she lectured about American men and women serving in combat zones.
When questioned about one of the most disastrous failures in US history – Biden-Harris Afghanistan surrender and withdrawal from Afghanistan – Kamala bragged that there are no American men and women serving in a combat zone today.
Kamala was asked, “Do you take any responsibility for the 13 lives that were lose in the evacuation of Afghanistan?”
