There has been no shortage of speakers at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee — and no shortage of speakers named Trump. RNC Co-Chair Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump, addressed the convention on Tuesday evening. Eldest son Don Jr. spoke Wednesday evening — though his 17-year-old daughter, Kai, stole a bit of his thunder. Thursday night, the last night of the convention, Eric Trump spoke ahead of his father's address, following moving remarks and prayer offered by Franklin Graham. Eric began by reflecting on his father's announcement to the family eight years ago that he'd made a decision that would forever change their lives.

This is an excellent review of Trump's speech. And quite fair. We watched the whole thing, and had tears in our eyes for much of it. This is a truly changed man, regardless of what the turncoat Michael Steele had to say about it. (I inadvertently clicked on MSNBC while changing channels after the convention. Their comments turned my stomach
Sorry, hit send too soon. It's 4am here.
anyway his speech was heartfelt, tender and caring, and he did try to begin to unify the country. He, most importantly gave the credit for his life being spared, to God. He spoke of God many times and it was very inspiring. I believe this term of Donald J. Trump will be a thing to behold.

The entire Trump family is so loaded with patriotism and talent that we will be seeing a lot of them over the next decades. America is behind them and the democrats do not have a play in their entire playbook that will stop them. I always thought that Judy Woodruff of PBS was one of the few leftists that was almost reasonable and had a little common sense. Her stupid comments during the convention disproved that, she is the same sort of dingbat as Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton. Like most of them, the is trash and deeply infected with TDS.

Eric Trump gave an excellent speech!
As for Trump himself, it is clear he was changed profoundly, but in the best way.

It was a fantastic convention! Lara, Don Jr., and Eric all gave great speeches. I wish Trump would learn from them. His speech was way too long and rambling. I find it very hard to listen to him. But TBH, I've had a hard time listening to every President since Ronald Reagan.

I think the Trump Family, who spoke at the Convention, did a fabulous job! I'm sure President Trump is very Proud. I was disappointed that Barron did not at least appear with his mother last night. He is over 18 now and how wonderful it would have been for him to make his first speaking appearance to be about his Father. Most of his Cousins were there (big and small) and all were poised and behaved perfectly. Says a lot about the Trump Family! Hopefully, we will see Barron by his Dad's side at a Campaign in the weeks to come.

Dems are bashing Trump for having Hulk Hogan as a featured speaker...who actually broke con fay fay and spoke as his real self, introduced himself by his real name, Yet they never complain about Stephen Colbert, who's onscreen persona is the same sort of schtick/Act/Performance. Nearly EVERY Dem seeks out every opportunity they can to do a Colbert set. Some of the very best speakers at this convention were unscripted, Tucker Carlson was awesome, Homan was awesome, many of the unknown "Just people" speakers were awe inspiring. There at least a DOZEN Dems/former Dems as well as several formerly anti trumpers that explained quite genuinely what changed, how THEY changed, how their contact with Trump changed what they had been told, what they THOUGHT they knew about him, and about Repubs, especially MAGA repubs.
