Question: If you are female, would you prefer a Harrison Butker type as your life partner? Or would you prefer to share your life with a man-bun wearing, scraggly bearded, non-binary person complete with all the leftist jargon and chock-full feelings?
Butker’s comments at the graduation ceremony for Benedictine College, a Catholic institution (where he gave a Catholic message) in Atchison, Kansas, has Democrats in a tizzy, clutching their pearls, getting the vapors, and collapsing onto their fainting couches. And of course, going into full-blown scorched earth mode.
His comments were so egregious that all the usual misquoting, false framing of facts,

Snowflakes afraid of a masculine man speaking his mind. All he said was go forth and live your life in your own way the best you can. But don't abandon your faith while doing it. And women remember you actually have a lot more options than men. Being able to work in your chosen field is a plus (many work just for a paycheck) but don't forget that being a wife and mother full time is also an honorable profession. I thought the progressives were all about choices. I was able to stay home with my son for the first 6 years of his life and I would not give up that experience for anything.

Mr. Butker strikes me as the type of man who would be happy to support his partner in whatever field she chose. IOW, he doesn’t suffer from insecurity.

From the article: "Pause and think. Nature made men and women different from each other in a perfect and complementary yin/yang design."
I get what this author is trying to say but why is Lewis Dovland having a hard time saying that God created man and woman?
I firmly believe that we all should be God's best - be the individual He created you to be. After all, there is nobody else like you. It is Hollywood, media, and the government trying to clone you. . .

I was a stay at home mom for the first 13 years of my daughter’s life and then started a business which allowed me to work from home about 80% of the time with the occasional business trip. I wouldn’t trade those years I spent with my daughter for all of Elon Musk’s cash.

Most girls have the insights to grow up to be women.
On the other hand, society lets boys grow up to be adult boys rather than men.

I wonder what percentage of these "pearl-clutchers" are outraged women because they're simply jealous; they're angry because they aren't attracting men like Harrison Butker. We've all seen the Tik Tok videos where women complain that they can't find a date much less a long-term relationship. But look at the women... most with green, purple, or orange hair and festooned with various piercings and nose rings. The only things they've shaved are their eyebrows and perhaps the entire one side of their heads. Who knows when they may have bathed? Men (at least the ones who are truly "keepers") won't want to get near these women much less take them home to meet the family.
These women have no one to blame except themselves. If they want a good man they should be a good woman. Somehow that logic has escaped them.

That IS the type if husband I have! We support each other and he says he couldn't have done his job if I had worked outside the home. 3 kids all involved in sports, I'd put 40K miles a year on the car transporting them everywhere they needed to be all awhile my husband was working very hard to make a good living for us. I managed the household and he managed our income. I wouldn't change it for anything. I needed to be a mom and wife and it is still wonderful to this day!

To my knowledge, Butker has not apologized for his speech, and I'm sure he won't try to please the truly stupid people who don't like what he said. I have been thrilled that the men in my family, husband, son-in-law, and grandson are the Butker types. They support whatever we women do, and we support them. At the end of the day, my husband and I agree, the most important achievement of our lives has been our daughters, not our careers.
