British former Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies has slammed transgender runner CeCe Telfer’s recent participation in a US women’s track meet, calling it “simply cheating.”
Davies, 61, took aim at the track star after a photo of Telfer, who is in her late 20s, began circulating on social media over the weekend of her prepping to take part in the invitational 60-meter hurdles race at Boston University in February.
“Spot the male athlete in the women’s race! It’s simply cheating,” the ex-Olympian tweeted Sunday alongside a photo of Telfer at the start line with her fellow competitors.

President Biden informed his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, of the US position on several issues during a call Tuesday, the White House said; Xi’s response was essentially, “F-U.”
No, Xi didn’t use those exact terms.
But close enough.
Biden emphasized the importance of “peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait,” “the rule of law and freedom of navigation in the South China Sea” and America’s “commitment” to denuclearizing North Korea, the White House reported.
And he raised “concerns” over climate change, China’s “support for Russia’s defense industrial base” and its “unfair trade policies,” etc., etc.

The owners and manager of the cargo ship that crashed into a Baltimore bridge last week and sent its metal frame tumbling into the river below have denied responsibility, as they tried to argue that they shouldn’t be held liable for amounts larger than the new value of the damaged vessel.
Singapore-based Grace Ocean Private Ltd., the owner of the cargo ship Dali, and Synergy Marine Pte Ltd., the ship’s manager, filed a petition in federal court Monday denying any fault or neglect, according to the Baltimore Banner.
“The [bridge collapse] was not due to any fault, neglect, or want of care on the part of Petitioners, the Vessel,

An urgent health alert has been issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as the United States witnesses a sharp increase in the incidence of invasive meningococcal disease.
According to CDC, meningococcal disease “refers to any illness caused by bacteria called Neisseria meningitidis. These illnesses are often severe, can be deadly, and include infections of the lining of the brain and spinal cord (meningitis) and bloodstream.”
Transmission occurs through close contact, prompting urgent calls for individuals with symptoms to seek care promptly to improve outcomes with timely antibiotic treatment.
With 422 cases recorded last year, this figure marks the highest annual case count since 2014, FOX News reported.

President Trump responded to Joe Biden’s blasphemous proclamation of Easter Sunday as Transgender Day of Visibility while speaking at a rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Tuesday.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, “devout Catholic” Joe Biden prioritized transgenders, (snip) They further called on Biden and White House to “issue an apology to the millions of Catholics and Christians across America who believe tomorrow is for one celebration only — the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”
And on Tuesday, Trump made a proclamation of his own: “November 5 is going to be called Christian Visibility Day, when Christians turn out in numbers that nobody’s ever seen before.”

Wisconsin investigative reporter and researcher Peter Bernegger of Election Watch Incorporated was arrested and booked by the Dane County Sheriff this morning for “Simulating Legal Process,” according to the Dane County Sheriff’s website. Bernegger was intricately involved in exposing election campaign “smurfs,” or donors who are believed to be unknowingly used to launder numerous small-dollar donations to political candidates. Bernegger previously told The Gateway Pundit that the “smurfing” scheme “looks like the largest money laundering scheme in the history of the country.”
In March 2023, O’Keefe Media Group’s James O’Keefe interviewed several of these unsuspecting “smurfs” to see if they had donated large quantities of money to candidates

Former U.S. prosecutor Patrick Douglas Scruggs from Tampa, known for his involvement in indicting Florida residents linked to the January 6 Capitol riots, is now facing trial himself. The 38-year-old is set for a pre-trial hearing at the Pinellas County Justice Center on May 3. Scruggs faces charges of armed burglary, aggravated battery, and aggravated assault. These charges stem from an alleged road rage incident where Scruggs is accused of stabbing a 35-year-old man with a pocket knife last year.
On September 26, Mr. Scruggs was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol after allegedly stabbing another motorist following a crash on the Howard Frankland Bridge in Tampa.

On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump obtained a bond to cover the $175 million bond in his New York fraud case. The Knight Specialty Insurance Company will hold the bond. The company is owned by California's "King of Subprime Auto Loans" Don Hankey. While Hankey is a Trump supporter and donor, he said Tuesday in an interview with the Daily Mail that he has not met Trump personally.

Hankey had been approached earlier regarding the original $460 million bond but was only able to make the deal after the amount was reduced by the appeals court.
'It was much easier, because he put up all cash,' he said.

I don’t need to be celebrated. Well, let me clarify that a bit – I don’t need to be celebrated for existing. That’s not an accomplishment. Okay, if you knew me in my teens and early twenties, it is kind of an accomplishment in that I would not have made anyone’s list of long-term existences, but not losing myself to death isn’t an accomplishment, it’s almost the least someone could do. Existing is literally the least someone could do, so it is decidedly not worthy of celebration. Yet, we’ve created a culture where that is, in fact, what people celebrate, or more accurately, insist be celebrated. I’m gonna pass.

I have to admit that for a while, there was a small part of me that was rooting for RFK Jr. I wanted to see him unhorse Joe Biden. I still do. Even when I heard him speak back in November, I realized that despite some centrist bullet points, the man was on the left. But I also reasoned that if the choice came down to RFK Jr. and Biden, RFK was likely to inflict less collateral damage than Biden would as a lame-duck.
To be fair, while Trump supporters are resolute in their choice of presidential candidate, there will likely be plenty of down-ballots in November

Say goodbye to the trucking industry as we know it, and goodbye to the American economy, too.
You might have missed it on Good Friday — which you can be sure was no accident — when the Biden EPA released its new tailpipe rules for semi-trucks, but the new rules will destroy how we move goods around the country.
It seems like only two weeks ago [It was only two weeks ago, Steve —editor] that I told you about Presidentish Biden's new EPA regulations, coming into effect starting in 2027, that will force two-thirds of new car buyers into electric vehicles whether they want one or not.

I certainly do not recommend watching "The View," and I can tell you from the clips I do see that it's a waste of time. I don't understand what makes anyone think the women who host the show have anything valuable to say about current affairs and politics — even their token pseudo-Republican.
Yet, in a classic example reflecting the problem that Joe Biden faces in November, on Monday's episode the hosts of the show were discussing the famous Reagan quote from the 1980 election. During a debate with then-President Jimmy Carter, Reagan asked viewers, "Are you better off than you were four years ago?"
