Donald Trump has locked up the necessary delegates for the Republican presidential nomination, which means it's time for every political junkie's favorite quadrennial game: Veepstakes!
Every four years, commentators, political consultants and elected officials all chime in with their takes on who a presidential candidate's running mate should be. Perhaps the candidate ought to select a veep from a swing state. Perhaps the candidate ought to select someone who fits a certain demographic box. Maybe the candidate ought to pick someone with a very similar political philosophy -- or perhaps someone whose ideological bona fides assuage any lingering concerns

If the movie Hillbilly Elegy was an accurate portrayal of him and his book -- I like him!

We need Vance in the Senate. I think Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn would be an excellent choice. He's of the same caliber of man as Donald Trump. He has already been targeted by the Deep State and survived. He is well familiar with our enemy's strategies and tactics. He has experience on the D.C. battlefield. In the same way FDR's (effective) three terms transformed the functions of the federal government with the New Deal, Donald Trump and Michael Flynn will have twelve years to transform those same functions through implementing MAGA based policies and procedures.
Due to the sad fact that President Trump can only serve one term, I believe we need a strong man as VP to make sure the MAGA agenda is fully implemented. I love Kari Lake, but she doesn't have cajones. No woman does for this job that needs to be done. Our Republic needs her men. Her Best Men.
Besides, we know we can trust Mike Flynn. ....Looking at you Mike Pence.

we dont know enough about him, to trust him enough to Not go pontius pence , or spineless speaker,
or hellary rotten backshooter on us. pdt does not need a soroazz call girl or an over-rated political hack.
he needs solid ethics, trustworthiness, merit, honesty, and a brainiac w/ a multiplicity of language skills to
communicate w/ a tinker, tailor, soldier, thief, dr, lawyer, or indian chief. a multi-tasker.
we like dr. ben carson,,,he's a Godly man, a cool customer, we believe he'd always have pdt's back,
w/ the battle skills to defeat monster faucinstein, wefr'z , gatesofhell [and his marxist minions like turdros],
whilst steering a wise , fair, impartial course through the big pfarm, plandemics, who 's theft of sovereignty,
u, n. plotting on housing, supply chains, ngo squalls, the attacks on those vulnerable to the 'abuse of gender'
woke jackazzery, the medical background to deal with bidet's horrific illegal alien infectious diseases,
and remove them from the country, the calm determination to supervise crtl n criminal alien deportations.
that would take care of his schedule for monday and tuesday. he can spend the other 60 hours a week on
...you know....paperwork.

Love all these clickbait articles about who should pick this one or that one.
Remember: every single elected official in the District of Corruption is compromised.
Wouldn't be there if they weren't.
Every single one of them.
Can't explain the lack of action on the J6 Prisoners otherwise.
Can't explain the lack of action on election fraud otherwise.
Can't explain the lack of action on removal of the animated meat puppet installed in the Whitehouse otherwise.
Ukraine.
Iran.
Borders.
Etc etc etc...

The meteoric rise of Vance as a Trump lackey lacking a long republican pedigree base on fidelity to the VALUES of republicanism versus media POPULARITY driven importance should cause one to be wary of pushing him.
The media will not be making the selection of Mr. Trump's running mate as much as a particular name is bandied about in the media spin cycle. One thing is certain, and that is that whomever is selected by President Trump, they will also be HOUNDED in the media once a selection is made, based on past experience. Old examples are how the media all-out attack on Vice-Presient Dany Quayle on his spelling of "potatoe" instead of "potato" and the media APPROVAL of John McPain and then totally repudiating him once Barrak Huseein NoBama entered the race int 2008, and the endless saturation of MIttens Romney putting a dog crate on top of his vehicle.
Anyone President Trump selects needs to be able to survive the coming media crucifixion they have planned once his selection is made public.

#6, Lackey? Nah. J.D. is not that. He is, however, a very smart guy who understands the problems, the solutions to those problems, and that the stakes could not be higher this November. He is no one’s lackey. He grew up two blocks from me although we are from different generations. I know where he came from and how his view of this country was formed. His story is a common story of a hard knock life that affords someone a real understanding of how brains and hard work can change your future in ways you could never have imagined. If President Trump chooses him, I would definitely support that ticket. I would hate to lose him in the Senate but he would be an asset on the ticket.

One thing Boomers know from experience is that the person who is a heartbeat away from the Presidency should be qualified to be President. LBJ was VP because JFK wanted a Southerner on the ticket because the Solid South started to drift away to Eisenhower in '52 and '56. We learned the result of that choice. LBJ helped the ticket in the South and gave us the "Great Society." Trump will make his choice. I will support whoever he choses. For me, Vance needs more time in the Senate and maybe replace Weak DeWine as Governor in Ohio.

JD may be a future President but he needs more time. I like the idea of Governor of Ohio for him.
To step into Pres.Trumps shoes (if Heaven forbid )there should be a reason….i believe you need another non-swamp creature who could lead. Dr. Ben Carson fits that bill. And then in 2028 there is no one who will be in the shadow of Trump…..let the young ones wrestle for that spot. Dr. Carson and Pres.Trump can become elder statesmen. I never understood picking a future Pres. 5 years in advance. Pence sure didn’t work out. Repubs don’t usually have a good track record with their VPs.
