Not content with slapping former President Donald Trump with almost half a billion dollars in fines for a “crime” in which there were no victims, New York Judge Arthur Engoron ruled Thursday that the court will effectively take over the Trump Organization. At least, that’s how it reads, seeing as Trump will have to disclose his every financial move to his government overlords. Engoron wrote:
Based on the Court's findings in its February 16th Order, the Court ordered the continued monitoring of Defendants' financial and accounting practices and disclosures, including and enhanced role for the Monitor, for a period of no less than three years, as well as

Tulsi Gabbard wanted to be president. Now she wants to be vice president. And while that’s hardly unusual, the paths — plural — she’s considering to get there are.
Neither involve the Democratic Party, which Gabbard used to represent until she left it in 2022. The four-term former member of Congress from Hawaii is now getting consideration for both former President Donald Trump’s and independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s tickets, two sources familiar with the candidates’ deliberations told NBC News.
It’s a remarkable turnaround for the onetime progressive rising star,

Muslims will yet “slaughter” the Jews “like sheep” when the opportunity arises, according to a Michigan Islamic cleric who appealed to Allah. [SNIP] “Don’t worry, don’t worry, Jewish man,” he said. “One day will come, and we will slaughter you like a sheep and the stone and the tree will work… undercover for us, [saying:] ‘Hey Muslim, come, there is somebody hiding here, get up and kill him.’”
The Sheikh was apparently referencing a grisly passage in the Islamic text, known as the Hadith.

WASHINGTON — Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wis., who announced last month he would not run for re-election, will resign from Congress early, he confirmed in a statement Friday.
Gallagher’s departure before the end of his term in January is another blow to Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., and House Republicans, who have been struggling to govern and demonstrate stability in this Congress. Two sources familiar with the matter told NBC News of Gallagher's plan to resign early Friday. The Wisconsin Republican then released a statement announcing that he will depart April 19.

The family of the Missouri girl who has been charged with beating 16-year-old Kaylee Gain into unconsciousness says she is the real victim and had been “harassed and bullied” before the caught-on-video assault.
The 15-year-old’s aunt told Daily Mail that her niece – described as an honor student with a stellar record at Hazelwood East High School — was defending herself during the viral March 8 fight in Spanish Lakes, Missouri.
The accused attacker’s loved ones are asking the juvenile court system to show “compassion” for the teen and they are seeking $150,000 in donations toward her legal defense.

Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, announced on Friday she has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy.
“Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both,” Kate Middleton, 42, said in a video message.
Details of Middleton’s cancer diagnosis were not publicly released.
Middleton’s cancer announcement comes after rumors about her whereabouts swirled as she stayed out of the public eye for a few months.

The athletes competing at the Paris Summer Games will have plenty of condoms, but they will not have air conditioning.
“We designed these buildings so that they would be comfortable places to live in in the summer, in 2024 and later on, and we don’t need air conditioning in these buildings because we oriented the facades so that they wouldn’t get too much sun during the summer, and the facades, the insulation is really efficient,” said Yann Krysinski, who is directing the service of infrastructure for the Games.

Jessica Tarlov, one of the rotating liberal hosts of The Five on FOX News, was forced to issue an on-air correction about former Hunter Biden associate Tony Bobulinski on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Tarlov made some comments about who is paying Bobulinki’s legal fees.
His lawyer was quick to react and apparently threatened a lawsuit. On Wednesday, Tony Bobulinski testified before Congress in the ongoing impeachment investigation of Joe Biden.

San Diego County is one of the largest segments of California's homeless population, with more than 10,000.
Locals in Pacific Beach say that the vagrants have moved from the city's downtown to their neighborhood and are openly defying laws banning them from camping out in their vehicles.
The homeless are accused of not just camping out but bringing in drugs and leaving their garbage on the streets, ironically right next to signs that tell them they're not allowed to park there.
Debbie Turnbull, who lives in the area, claims that it's a problem of the city trying to take the homeless out of the downtown area.

You can already hear the same old scam revving up, this time about Haiti – yet again. I remember 30 years ago when we were going to fix Haiti. And since I read history, I know about 100 years ago when we were also going to fix Haiti. Now, our garbage ruling class is on the verge of demanding we try to fix Haiti yet again. Spoiler – you can’t fix Haiti. And it’s not worth one single American life trying to.
That’s not to say Haiti isn’t a mess and that we shouldn’t provide some humanitarian aid. Look, Haiti had it hard from the beginning.

Ron DeSantis has threatened to send Haitian migrants to leafy Democrat enclaves in the north as gang warfare engulfs the embattled Caribbean nation.
The Florida governor said refugees arriving in his state would go the same way as the thousands of migrants he has already bussed to Democrat strongholds such as Sacramento and Martha's Vineyard.
Attacks spread to upscale neighborhoods in Haiti's capital Port-au-Prince on Monday leaving at least a dozen people dead on Monday as cop turned gang leader Jimmy 'Barbecue' Cherizier attempts to seize power with his thousands of heavily-armed followers.

Democrats tried and true tactic when their policies failed and Americans abandoned them: blame Donald Trump.
And it was no exception for Democrat Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson who claimed Trump supporters are the reason his homeless policy was rejected by voters.
Johnson’s progressive agenda failed Wednesday night after 53.7 percent of Chicagoans voted against his homeless referendum, compared to 46.3 percent who were in support of it.
The Democrat claimed that the same people who voted against his policy were “the same people who want to see Donald Trump … be president again.”
“There were 38,000 Republicans that showed up and voted for Donald Trump… in Chicago,” Johnson said.
