Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, said that former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley’s (R) attacks on former President Trump came too late for it to potentially make a difference in the GOP primary.
During his appearance on CNN Saturday night, Sabato said that Haley’s diggs against Trump were long overdue and noted that the only other candidate in the Republican field who took on Trump directly was former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who dropped out of the race two weeks ago.

Yes Nimarata, if only you had attacked Trump earlier, you too could be out of the primary and not wasted 30 million bucks offending the vast majority of the party.

Any Republican presidential candidate that ATTACKED Trump was doomed from the start. There is a REASON that Trump is so strongly supported. The majority of Republicans WANT him to pick up where he left off. ATTACKING Trump for doing the things that most Republican voters wanted him to do leads only to a dead end. Christie, for all his aggressive bluster, never stood a chance.
Here is the reality, even voters that would like a more genteel candidate than Trump recognize that such a candidate, facing the mess that is the dem party, the deep state bureaucracy, the propaganda media, etc. would have NO CHANCE to be successful. Right now, we need a brawler and Trump has proven that he is willing to fight for us and able to win. Further, given that Trump has picked the right issues, WHY aren't the other candidates strongly supporting him? It is because they want to be president more than they want to fight for the American people and this Country.
The other candidates have NO CHANCE to succeed in such a battle. How do we know? Because in their statements they are timid in articulating the clear issues that Trump deals with bluntly and forcefully. If they won't deal head on with those issues now, if they were elected, they would do nothing about them.

If it is credibility you seek - don't do interviews on CNN.

The campaigns of Haley and DeSantis were doomed from the get-go but for them, messaging anything other than praise for Trump may poison even future runs. MAGA'ists truly believe DJT was robbed of his '20 election and want his formal return to the Presidency as well as for Justice to be served upon all those who helped in the thievery. Nothing less will do.

Early, late, never, it doesn't matter. Nimarata is nothing but an ambitious lightweight who calculated that her femaleness was going to propel her higher than the four-year performance of the greatest president in American history. After she endures an embassing defeat in South Carolina she will slip quietly away, never to be heard from again. DeSantis can still run again in 2028 if he doesn't dig his hole any deeper now.

The demoslut party, the MSM, and the entire legal system has been trying to tarnish Trump for eight years, and it hasn't worked. Thirty million bucks and a Rino hack isn't going to do it in a month.

Leftists don't get why Trump supporters want him back...TRUMP did what he said he was going to do...you have to go back to Ronald Reagan to find a President that said this is my platform if I win and then put in effect his platform while in office...that is why he will win for the 3rd time

Au Contraire! Namrata (correct spelling. Means politeness or respectfulness in Hindi!) Has come this far because (she) has remained relatively civil versus Trump. The history of this campaign shows that attacking Trump with unfounded allegations is the kiss of death.
