The New Hampshire House on Thursday voted in favor of banning doctors from performing gender-related surgeries on minors, but not the proscription of other treatments such as hormone therapy. The bill passed in a 199-175 vote, according to The Hill. It next heads to the Republican-controlled Senate. The lower chamber also approved a measure requiring that athletes compete on teams in line with their sex. Twenty-two states have enacted bans on transgender surgeries for minors, according to the pro-LGBT Movement Advancement Project. Twenty-one of those have also banned lesser medical treatments.

When my mom had breast cancer 30 years ago it was blamed on hormone therapy to relieve menopause symptoms. I guess they don't worry about that kind of thing anymore. People diagnosed with cancer is a windfall to the medical establishment. I think they like increases in cancer rates.

"New Hampshire House approves transgender surgeries, sports bans" - then read the text and discover the bill banned transgender surgeries. The contradictory headline was found at the linked site, so don't blame this on Lucianne. Don't believe everything you read, sometimes the fake news is even created by accident. A better line might be: "New Hampshire House approves bans on transgender surgeries and sports. " I am still not clear on whether all sports would be banned or just some sports?

Trump’s hidden tax increase? 15 replies

I’ll admit I agree with almost all of President Donald Trump’s initiatives, but there’s one about which I have some doubts: stopping the minting of pennies. Yes, I know that pennies cost more to make than they’re worth. (Snip) The nearest rounding option would be five cents (though there’s a smaller lobby gunning to kill the nickel, too). That means every transaction in Colorado — the lowest state sales tax at 2.9% — will get rounded up. New York City, whose combined tax cut on most sales is effectively 8.875%, will also get rounded up.

The last eight years at the Department of Justice have been a disaster for the rule of law. The sprawling intelligence and law enforcement agency ran the Russia collusion hoax, hamstringing President Donald Trump during his entire first term in office. (Snip) The report comes years after DOJ dropped its investigation into the same claims on the grounds that the two central witnesses had serious credibility issues. Yet these are the same two central witnesses the House Ethics Committee has relied on for its critical report of Gaetz

A recent boat parade in Florida supporting President Donald Trump took an unexpected turn when a vessel flying Nazi flags appeared among the flotilla. The incident, which quickly went viral on social media, has sparked debate about the true identity of the flag-bearers and the response from other parade participants. The event, which took place off the coast of Florida, was initially reported by Newsweek with a headline suggesting that Nazi symbols were openly displayed at the Trump boat parade. “Swastika Flags Flown During Trump Boat Parade in Florida,” the headline read.

A policy that allows school staff to keep a child’s transgender status a secret does not violate a parent’s fundamental rights under the New Hampshire constitution, the state’s Supreme Court has held. The policy was challenged by a New Hampshire mother who sued the Manchester school district after finding out from a teacher that her minor child (identified as M.C.) had asked school staff and students to be called by a name typically associated with the opposite sex.

It's not just record capital gains taxes that Americans have to look forward to if they choose "4 more years, pause" of the senile occupant in the White House: As Epoch Times' Jeffrey Tucker reports, property taxes are also about to soar. (Snip) In the United States, you pay property taxes on your home. This reality gives rise to the perennial question: do you really own your home if maintaining that title requires paying huge property taxes on the place annually? If you don’t pay, the house is taken over by the state, period. It feels a bit like renting doesn’t it?

Ager said he had heard of as many as two dozen attendees, all parked together, who said they had found key scratches on their cars. “Any acts of violence, or vandalism or vitriol on either side, I don’t think, helps the people of New Hampshire.”

A California judge has recommended disbarring attorney John Eastman, determining that he violated ethics rules by pushing former President Donald Trump's election fraud claims. Eastman had supported Trump's claims that mass voter fraud affected the outcome of the presidential election. He further was the architect of the alternate elector scheme in which then-Vice President Mike Pence was to reject the electors from pivotal swing states in favor of pro-Trump slates. Judge Yvette Roland determined that he violated ethics rules in pushing the effort, Politico reported. He may still appeal the decision to the California Supreme Court, though his law license will be inactive during the appeals process.

A federal judge on Monday blocked the Trump administration from revoking the legal status and work permits of the more than 530,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela who flew into the United States during former President Joe Biden's time in office. The migrants came to the U.S. under Biden's controversial controversial CHNV mass humanitarian parole program. Washington— Former President Joe Biden returns to the national stage Tuesday to elevate liberal concerns that President Donald Trump’s agenda is threatening the health of Social Security. The 82-year-old Democrat has largely avoided speaking publicly since leaving the White House in January. That’s even as Trump frequently blames Biden for many of the nation’s problems, often attacking his predecessor by name. Biden is expected to fight back in an early evening speech to the national conference of Advocates, Counselors and Representatives for the Disabled in Chicago. While Biden has made a handful of public appearances in recent weeks, Tuesday’s high-profile address focuses on a critical issue for tens of millions of Americans

After Trump’s exchange with Kaitlin Collins of CNN today, he suggested that CNN hates our country. Every Trump supporter knows why he said this. Almost everyone on that network is anti-Trump and anti-Trump supporters. When CNN cut back to the studio, it was absolutely clear that host Dana Bash was not happy about Trump’s comments and she addressed them while looking visibly bothered and frustrated. The truth hurts sometimes. The Hill reported: CNN anchor Dana Bash rebuked President Trump after he suggested on Monday the cable news network is withholding positive information about his administration from the public out of hatred.
