Bethlehem resembles a ghost town. Celebrations

Bethlehem, West Bank— The normally bustling biblical birthplace of Jesus resembled a ghost town on Sunday, as Christmas Eve celebrations in Bethlehem were called off due to the Israel-Hamas war. The festive lights and Christmas tree that normally decorate Manger Square were missing, as were the throngs of foreign tourists and jubilant youth marching bands that gather in the West Bank town each year to mark the holiday. Dozens of Palestinian security forces patrolled the empty square. “This year, without the Christmas tree and without lights, there’s just darkness,” said Brother John Vinh, a Franciscan monk from Vietnam who has lived in Jerusalem for six years.

No Palestinians in Bethlehem when Christ was born. Christ was born a Jew wasn't he? Jews have been living around Israel much longer than Palestinians.

Christians should use Bethlehem, PA as a substitute. No, wait - - that may be even more dangerous - - what with all the terrorist jihadists already in our country.

Two GOP members of Congress received nasty gifts on Christmas when pranksters swatted their homes. Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Brandon Williams (R-NY) stated in separate social media posts that they were victims of swatting incidents on Monday. Both said the pranksters targeted their homes.Swatting is the act of making a false call to emergency services with the goal of sending law enforcement or first responders to someone’s home. The prank qualifies as a criminal offense in many cities and states. Greene has been a repeated victim of swatting during her Congressional career as the establishment news media continue to stoke left-wing vitriol against her, especially regarding her opposition

Normalizing gender dysphoria quickly became a top priority of the Biden administration, particularly in 2023. But perhaps what made it seem worse was the overt targeting of children, as the Democrat’s administration made clear several times throughout the year. Here are eight instances of the Biden administration promoting — and even championing — gender confusion on society’s most vulnerable and sometimes going as far as scolding parents who oppose his agenda. 1. what society has deemed “Pride Month” in June with a proclamation, which he used to lambast states that have taken action to protect children from the leftist-ordained practice of mutilating their God-given bodies

While the left continues its attempts to eradicate the word “Christmas” if not the celebration itself, it has yet to make a dent in Yuletide songs, if radio airplay is any indication. Perhaps where you live there is at least one radio station that plays Christmas music from the day after Thanksgiving, if not sooner, until December 25. It has become a big ratings boost for many radio stations across the U.S. Stations that don’t go all-Christmas music usually mix some in with their regular formats. There are some songs in particular that lift our spirits or touch our hearts year after year, including these:

Some years back, my blogger pal, the inestimable Robert Stacy McCain, released his "Five Rules for Getting a Million Hits on Your Blog." Of those, the most famous was Rule Five: "Everybody loves a pretty girl." This is a principle with a lot of history behind it, as anyone who is old enough to remember the ubiquitous auto-parts store calendars of a few years past.It should come as a surprise to no one that I'm rather a fan of Rule Five myself. Now we see that Conservative Dad, the guy behind Ultra Right Beer, is channeling Mr. McCain's rule in his latest effort, which is the "Real Women of America" calendar.
