Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) officially ended his Republican presidential campaign on Sunday night after failing to gain traction with GOP primary voters.
Scott made the announcement during an interview with former Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) on Fox News. He said that he has no plans to endorse any of the other Republican candidates.

Another stupid Republican! And sadly my Senator.
I had more respect for my Senators in NJ because I KNEW they would screw me. Scott and Graham are worthless! Tim, grow some balls and endorse Trump after everything he did to advance your career. If you don't, votes will be hard to come by!
Really sad when I have more respect, as much as I despised them, for Booker and Menendez. At least I always knew what they would do, against my wishes but they stood firm. Good riddance. You blew a great political future.

Says a lot that he announced it in an interview with do nothing, talk a lot Gowdy. Then, he punked out on endorsing President Trump. And to think he just revealed that he had a girlfriend. No one noticed or cared. Ditto for his pullout announcement. Poor sellout Tim. Now, go si-down somewhere.

I know many people think everyone is a Rino if they don’t support Trump, but doesn’t Trump need Rino votes to win, or is he getting more independent and democrat votes?

I disagree with the impulse to trash Tim Scott.
He is a fine man and an exemplary patriot. And I mean "fine" in a very exacting sense.
He is in the arena, a TR would say, and if it isn't the moment for him to become President, that's OK. We need exemplary warriors in the tranches, too.
Disclosure: I'm an old white guy. I like Scott, I sent him a little bit of money, but it's not his moment. That's OK.

Tim Scott was a nice guy, but he was just boring. No snap, no sizzle and no good ideas.

Senator Scott is a good man who says and believes the kinds of foundational bedrock principles of the Reagan coalition.
President Reagan is gone and for the most part, his legacy has been utterly DESTROYED by the GOP/RINOs. The mantle of Ronaldus Magnus (as Rush Limbaugh you to call him) is no longer dominant but there is still an over-run vibrant REMNANT of people out there in small-town America who still BELIEVE it known as THE BASE.
The idea of small limited government, lower taxes, cutting government waste, traditional American culture and values, strong military and the Rule of Law are almost GONE for our lives. Where are the republicans?
Senator Scott, along with many other republican candidates over the last few cycles have tried to rally and reclaim those persons-- Governor Mike Huckabee in '08, Repesentative Michelle Bachman in '12, and Dr. Ben Carson and Senator Ted Cruz in '16 fighting for the same pro-family/pro-life base of voters.
Other than President Trump, there are NO OTHERS who could possibly begin to bring that group of supporters back--
The other candidates hopes are actually based in the possibility that the LAWFARE efforts of the demonrat/socialist/Marxists can somehow "get Trump". The undignified displays of infighting against personal attacks and clever quips in the "debates" do not qualify someone to be President.
Now the remainder of the candidates not named Trump will continue try to attack the others instead of showing how they are more suited to be hired for the nomination and how they will work with Congress to right the ship. We can no long abide by the tyranny of a Vegetable DICTATOR who RULES without the Constitutional constraints of "checks and balances"

Well...that was expected...surprised he didn't endorse President Trump...but I suspect some political pollsters convinced him otherwise....the Washington political pollsters have tried everything to unseat President Trump...they just don't get it...President Trump is our man for the job....so get used to it.....

Good. Now we need the rest of the Keebler elves to do the same. They can keep whats left of their campaign funds and apply them to another run if they want, but big time donors are not going to keep wasting their money on anyone of them for long. Sadly, they will back a 3rd party first.
So...time for Haley, Ron, Vivek to call it a day, and if they cant back Trump, then they show their true allegiance to our country and the mass of deplorables that run it!

He’s my senator too and I guess that he’s marginally better than Miss Lindsey, but he should have known that he never had a chance.
#2, I believe the recent announcement of a girlfriend was political cover. I live in Charleston and the word here, from sources who know, is that he’s a homosexual.

Scott is a “good man”. But does he have the right political judgement? The need of the hour is to get behind Trump and make sure he is not run over by the Deep State that stole the last election and disenfranchised millions of Americans. Anyone who doesn’t see the dire need of the hour is suspect for the highest office.

I've always thought that Scott believed that his color alone would be enough.....and it isn't; we require talent and a spine in our elected officials. Miss Lindsey, you're next.

Throw palm fronds at Trump's feet or take a hike. Sounds like a winning formula.

I have been out [[shopping]] all day so I haven't seen any more comments on it, but the article by Jason Chaffetz this morning should tell us that we have the chance of a snowball in Hell for PDJT to win the election but darn it, we will try. And the other candidates should get behind him too. He (PDJT) stands between us and this country going to Hell in a handcart with the democrats forever ruling it as long as it lasts.
