President Joe Biden has spent 40 percent of his time as president on personal trips away from the White House, according to data calculated by the Republican National Committee.
The finding that Biden has spent 382 of his 957 days in the presidency away from the Oval Office was corroborated by the New York Post, using White House reports of Biden’s movements. “We have millions of illegal immigrants pouring across our borders. Violent crime is surging. Inflation is crushing hard-working Americans. Our enemies around the world are emboldened,” Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) told the Post.

In what's been called a landmark victory for parental rights, a California school district has settled for $100,000 with a mother who said her daughter was "socially transitioned" to a boy without parental knowledge or consent.
Jessica Konen said her 11-year-old daughter, Alicia, was told by her school in the Spreckels Union School District in Monterey County that she may be upset because she didn’t know who she "truly was inside." From there, the school allowed her to use the boy’s bathroom, used male pronouns to refer to her and was "socially transitioned" away from her biological gender.

If aliens really are visiting Earth, they often seem to reveal themselves to famous people.
Everyone from Miley Cyrus to Kurt Russell claims to have encountered strange lights or alien craft, with director Stephen Spielberg saying he believes people have had UFO encounters.
UFO experts have even suggested that Hollywood's obsession with extraterrestrials have fueled UFO sightings in the real world - known as the 'Will Smith effect' from his role in Independence Day.
DailyMail.com spoke to famous television psychic Uri Geller about his own UFO experiences, which he said began when he was just five years old - and other celebrities who have seen aliens.

NEW YORK (AP) — Those attending outdoor parties or barbecues in New York City this weekend may notice an uninvited guest looming over their festivities: a police surveillance drone.
The New York City police department plans to pilot the unmanned aircrafts in response to complaints about large gatherings, including private events, over Labor Day weekend, officials announced Thursday.
“If a caller states there’s a large crowd, a large party in a backyard, we’re going to be utilizing our assets to go up and go check on the party,” Kaz Daughtry, the assistant NYPD Commissioner, said at a press conference.

But once again, he couldn't manage to get through even that short period without telling some whoppers and pushing his political agenda. As I reported earlier, he made a weird, snotty comment regarding Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. He was asked about DeSantis saying that he couldn't meet with him because the presidential visit was "very disruptive" -- in other words, he shouldn't be coming while the emergency is still on. Biden shot back at the reporter, "Do you [think it's disruptive]?" DeSantis is still having to deal with the crisis, he doesn't have time

Having recently posted an article in which I ask the rhetorical question “Is Joe Biden the Worst President in History,” I felt an andiron piece with regard to my own country might be appropriate. Is Justin Trudeau the worst prime minister in history? The answer is, “Well, probably.” He’s a work in accelerated progress, though it must be said that he had immense help along the way: a compliant Parliament, an appointed Senate, a complicit Judiciary, and a bought-and-paid-for media have been loyally riding shotgun. Trudeau is perhaps the most disappointing, unctuous, and injurious prime minister ever to occupy the seat of power in Canada.

Two ubiquitous phrases in debates about policing and criminal-justice policy are “nonviolent crime” and “nonviolent offender.” Are these categorizations really useful? The best test of whether an offense or offender is truly nonviolent is to intervene and try to put a stop to a so-called low-level offense and see what reaction you get. It’s not hard to see how getting involved in many such scenarios could prove dangerous. Tragically, a recent case in San Francisco illustrates these dangers vividly.

The number one problem Joe Biden faces going into his re-election bid is the economy. It stinks. A majority of Americans think it stinks. Almost every previous presidential election was based on the voter’s perspective on the economy. Ronald Reagan’s question still haunts all incumbents: “Are you better off today than you were four years ago?”
The pandemic and the economic fallout from business closings, supply chain disruptions, and $5.2 trillion in government spending — which led to a painful spike in inflation — have made the Reagan question somewhat irrelevant. The economy has come roaring back to almost where Trump left it.
But people’s perspective on the economy is still clouded.

It’s often said that “birds of a feather flock together.” Now, as the 2024 election nears, anti-trump RINOs and radical anti-constitutional Democrats have become birds of a feather, who share a common philosophy:
“Whatever you do, don't let the voters decide.“ In other words, “Invent reasons to make the courts kick Trump off the ballot.” Left to the voters, neither establishment RINOs in the primaries nor Biden in the general election can fairly defeat Trump. Who else draws 50,000 people to a rural South Carolina town of 3,500 people, when it’s 95° degrees outside?

We all remember when then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton referred to Trump supporters as a "basket of deplorables." At the very least, it didn't help her campaign, and Donald Trump won the 2016 election. It now looks like Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) may have had her own "basket of deplorables" moment during an interview with Bloomberg Television, which could, too, help the former and potentially future president. While trying to downplay Trump's popularity with the Republican base, Pelosi pointed out that Trump is "popular among his group," as a way to sort of correct the interviewer pointing out that Trump is "so popular."

One of the more irritating reoccurrences in American politics is the rampant propensity of Republican elites to lecture the party’s voters about their outmoded or inconvenient values. (snip) In case you weren’t aware of this, the party split, as found in the 2022 electoral cycle, among married men is R+20. Among married women, it’s R+14. Among unmarried men, it’s R+7. But among unmarried women, it’s D+37. (snip)
— what you can see is that the leftists in charge of our cultural and political institutions have identified single women as a captive group of voters and supporters.
And they’re doing everything they can to make more of them.

Opposition to Rep. Kevin McCarthy becoming House Majority Leader was palpable on the right at the beginning of 2023. During a drawn-out fight, Rep. Chip Roy and other conservatives held up his promotion to secure a new rules package and guarantees surrounding investigations.
Eventually, McCarthy secured the votes after making several concessions, and at that point, it was fair to wipe the slate clean. He deserved a chance to prove himself, and for the most part, he's been a fairly good leader who has kept his promises regarding investigations into the weaponization of government and the Biden family's corruption.
I suppose it was just a matter of time
