Imagine if we learned Biden Administration officials had secretly jawboned the New York Times on trans issues. Or told baseball teams they should fly pride flags - or face antitrust hearings. Or complained to the History Channel over a documentary depicting the discovery of crude oil positively.
The First Amendment concerns would be obvious. We’d all wonder why government officials thought they could tell private companies what opinions and news to carry.
The American government is hugely powerful. Not even the biggest company can ignore a call from the White House. If the executive branch has something to say, it should do so with press conferences and open advertising

More of New York City’s police officers are reportedly rushing for the exit as crime plagues their communities.
The news comes on the heels of former New York Police Department (NYPD) Commissioner Keechant Sewell’s resignation, even though she would not say why she handed in her notice, NBC New York reported on June 14.Meanwhile, a New York Post article published Saturday cited data regarding the officer exodus, stating that “Through June 30, 648 officers quit before retiring this year — a 22% spike from 2021, when 530 left, and an 87% rise from 2020, when 347 quit, NYPD pension data show.”

A 25-year-old man has been arrested after he allegedly rode a moped around New York City opening fire at random on Saturday morning - killing one person and injuring three more.
The unnamed man killed an 87-year-old in Queens, shooting from a 9mm pistol with an extended magazine, police said.
Assistant Chief Joseph Kenny of the NYPD Detective Bureau said they believe the weapon was a 'ghost gun', with its serial number removed. 'We have not found a serial number on the gun,' Kenny said.

Media headlines in recent weeks soured on President Joe Biden, as his agenda appears derailed by setbacks ranging from Supreme Court rulings to economic pessimism to nagging scandals.
While gearing up for his 2024 campaign, Biden launched an economic public relations scheme. He calls it “Bidenomics.” The plan is meant to reverse voters’ negative perception of the nation’s direction.According to a recent Politico/Morning Consult poll, 78 percent of voters believe Biden’s America is on the wrong track, increasing over 25 points since Biden took office. Just three in ten Americans say Biden’s economy is good, an AP-NORC Center poll recently found.

President Joe Biden jetted off to his home in Delaware this weekend after facing a hard week of taking naps in the Oval Office and maybe signing a paper here or there. And don’t forget he has to go into hiding just in time to dodge the press before they ask him questions about the “mysterious” cocaine found at the White House.
With that being said, according to a GOP count, his recent trip to Delaware means he has spent nearly 40 percent—352 days— of his presidency on vacation.

Allegations emerged Thursday of U.S. law enforcement officials setting a meeting with a “missing” Biden family whistleblower, Dr. Gal Luft, who claims authorities arrested him in Cyprus to prevent his cooperation with House Oversight Committee chair James Comer’s (R-KY) probe into the Biden family.
Comer wanted to interview Luft as a “potential witness” before he went into hiding after his arrest in February. Authorities charged Luft with conspiring to sell Chinese weapons to the UAE, Kenya, and Libya, violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), and making a false statement.

A federal appeals court allowed Tennessee’s ban on child sex change procedures to take effect, granting the state’s emergency motion to stay a lower court’s injunction.
Trump-appointed Judge Eli Richardson temporarily blocked Tennessee’s law on June 29, just days before it was set to take effect, voicing concerns that it interfered with parents’ “fundamental right to direct the medical care of their children.” After midnight July 8, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals granted Tennessee’s request to pause the preliminary injunction while the appeal is pending.

The woke Church of England’s latest assault on the tenets of the Christian religion is apparently the Lord’s Prayer, which the Archbishop of York has criticised for being “oppressively patriarchal” over its reference to “Our Father”.
During a meeting of the General Synod, Church of England’s governing body, Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell called into question the use of the Lord’s Prayer, branding the prayer offered to Christians by Jesus Christ during the Sermon on the Mount as “problematic”.

An effort to disqualify former President Donald Trump’s White House bid is being undertaken by two civil rights groups that say the Jan. 6 Capitol riot could prevent Trump from holding office under the 14th Amendment.

The New York Times has printed a blistering op-ed by one of its star columnists slamming Joe Biden for disowning a granddaughter born to a stripper who his son Hunter had a fling with.
Maureen Dowd shared a letter written to Biden by her sister Peggy, a Republican voter who was previously so-charmed by the current-president that she voted for him.
But Dowd said Peggy had been appalled by Biden's refusal to acknowledge four year-old Navy Joan Roberts, whose mom Lunden got pregnant after a fling with Hunter. The president infamously said earlier this year that he has 'six grandchildren' - completely ignoring Arkansas-based Navy Joan, who is his seventh.

Former secret service agent Dan Bongino is claiming that the only explanation for the presence of cocaine in the White House is that President Joe Biden or his family members brought it inside.
The White House is an 18-acre complex surrounded by magnetometers and checkpoints, Mr. Bongino said in a recent Rumble video, adding that there were only specific ways into the White House, and all of them go through the checkpoints. “Whether it (cocaine) was found in the Lincoln bedroom or in the diplomatic reception room, it doesn’t matter. Somebody had to bypass the security magnetometer checkpoint to get that in there.”

Maine may soon allow elective abortions up until birth, pending final approval from the state’s governor.
The bill — H.P. 1044, An Act to Improve Maine’s Reproductive Privacy Laws — would allow a woman to receive a late-term abortion at any point if it is determined to be “necessary” by a doctor. It’s likely the legislation will be codified. Maine Governor Janet Mills, a Democrat, introduced the bill in January alongside legislative leadership, both also Democrats: House Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross and Senate President Troy Jackson. At the time, Mills credited the case of Maine woman Dana Peirce as justification for the expanded legalization of abortion.

Let’s be honest. If your 80-year-old father, grandfather, brother, or husband was in the same physical and mental condition as Joe Biden, would you want your loved one to face the rigors associated with the job of president of the United States — much less remain in office until age 86?
If Biden wins the 2024 Democrat nomination and goes on to win the election, he’ll be 82 on Inauguration Day 2025 and 86 years old if he finishes a second term. That is inconceivable, particularly given Biden’s steady decline, just since the 2020 primary season. His deterioration grows more evident, seemingly by the week, and attempting four more years
