Karl Rove criticized former President Donald Trump this week following the arraignment over his alleged mishandling of classified documents, warning that “America will pay a high price for the former president’s reckless petulance.”
Rove, a former top aide to former President George W. Bush, wrote in an opinion piece published in The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday that “America has been plunged into an unprecedented crisis by the indictment of Donald Trump.”
“The blame for this calamity rests solely on Mr. Trump and his childish impulse to keep mementos from his time in the Oval Office, no matter what the law says,” Rove said.

In an unprecedented move, twenty armed Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents carried out a raid on a gun store in Great Falls, Montana, seizing all Form 4473s – documents that record buyer’s information during firearms transactions.
Tom Van Hoose, owner of Highwood Creek Outfitters, alleges that he has been under constant surveillance by state and federal agencies for over two years, KRTV reported.
On Wednesday, the gun shop owner reported an unexpected visit from 20 heavily armed IRS agents at his store.
The agents reportedly arrived at the shop early in the morning, as Van Hoose was opening for the day.

A Marquette University professor said the American flag makes him “anxious” in a National Public Radio interview Wednesday.
Philosophy Professor Grant Silva told an interviewer with WUWM, an NPR affiliate station in Milwaukee, that he feels “anxious” when he sees an American flag. In the interview, Silva described how “excessive imagery” of American flags is borderline “nationalism.”
“I also get a little bit anxious around the excessive imagery of the flag in part because in my experience, patriotism quickly slips into nationalism,” Silva said. “Especially the simplistic version of patriotism, the flag-waving, my country love it or leave it kind of attitude. That is just a hop, skip and a jump away

A hospital and doctors in California are facing a new lawsuit for removing the breasts of a 13-year-old girl after she claimed she was a boy.
The defendants carried out “ideological and profit-driven medical abuse” when they prescribed her puberty blockers and hormones and, later, performed a double mastectomy,(snip)
Jane, now 18, was influenced by people online when she was just 11 and told her parents that she was a boy, prompting them to ask for guidance from doctors.
While three doctors said Jane was too young for cross-sex hormones, she was eventually referred to several other doctors who prescribed her puberty blockers and hormones. Within six months,

Former FBI agent Peter Strzok said Friday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that former President Donald Trump was a “counterintelligence nightmare still to this day” while discussing his classified document indictment.
Strzok said, “I’d say Donald Trump is a counterintelligence nightmare still to this day. It reminds me back when all our kids were toddlers, and you’d have to go to a long car ride, and you say OK, take your little backpack, go to your room, pick two toys that you’re going to put in there and go on the road and then you’re going to play with it. For Trump, these things are shiny baubles. They are like Shaq’s shoe,

To say there were more reporters in attendance than fans when the Dodgers honored the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at Dodger Stadium Friday night, would not be a major exaggeration.
Sister Unity and Sister Dominia stood to represent the “Sisters” and receive their Community Heroes Award as the public address announcer made the announcement official in front of what appeared to be roughly 50 fans – at least two of which were loudly booing – and assembled media. [Tweet] Meanwhile, outside the stadium, thousands of pro-Catholic demonstrators protested and, at one point, even blocked one of the main entrances to the stadium. The protest drew the support of non-Catholics as well.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna said Thursday that Republicans will try again to censure Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., for making "false accusations" against former President Trump, after the House voted down a censure resolution against Schiff on Wednesday. In that vote, 20 Republicans rejected Luna’s censure resolution, in part because it recommended a $16 million fine against Schiff for telling "lies" about collusion between former President Trump and Russia, something that several investigations were never able to prove. Luna says that number is roughly half the cost of investigating Trump, probes that were never able to show collusion.

Fox News reports that twenty Republicans in the House of Representatives sided with most Democrats in voting against a resolution that would have censured Rep. Adam Schiff, (D-Calif.), for repeatedly peddling the hoax that former President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. The reprehensible Schiff was one of the foremost proponents of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. He repeated the falsehood in every forum possible. With every appearance, the lies became more ridiculous. He even claimed that Trump was an asset to the Kremlin. This wasn't a mistake on Schiff's part. Schiff knew these were fabrications but he said it anyway.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) warned Fox News that Matt Walsh’s report that the cable giant’s parent company promotes radical gender theory could prove “devastating” to the news network, which he said provides “much-needed, conservative content.”
On Thursday, The Daily Wire host posted a Twitter thread revealing Fox Corp’s annual “Pride” month campaign includes recommending sexually explicit literature to Fox News employees and that the company has even used artificial intelligence to track workers’ commitment to the woke principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Democratic New York City Mayor Eric Adams backtracked on his vow to house migrants in Gracie Mansion on Thursday, saying that the “symbolism” of his offer spoke volumes.
Adams said earlier in June that he’d welcome migrants into the five-room Gracie Mansion if city lawyers approved it, but backtracked Thursday during a press conference with reporters.
