Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday rejected Donald Trump's claim that he was the true winner of the 2020 presidential election in his most forceful comments to date on the matter.
"Whoever puts their hand on the Bible on Jan. 20 every four years is the winner," DeSantis told NBC News correspondent Dasha Burns in his first broadcast network interview since he launched his presidential campaign.
DeSantis continued to discuss all the ways he believed the previous presidential election was not perfect. But pressed further, he clearly stated that Trump lost.
"But respectfully, you did not clearly answer that question," Burns said. "And if you can’t give

The Biden Administration’s Secretary of Energy, Jennifer Granholm, held several talks with her Chinese counterpart prior to the widely-panned decision to drain the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) back in 2021.
(snip)the meetings were documented in Department of Energy (DOE) calendars obtained by Fox News. Granholm met with Zhang Jianhua, chairman of the China National Energy Administration, on November 19th and November 21st, 2021, meetings which were never publicly revealed. Just two days after their second meeting, on November 23rd, Joe Biden announced the decision to start draining the SPR in order to combat rising gas prices in the United States.

Nancy Pelosi thinks that the U.S. is doomed if Donald Trump becomes president again and says the latest indictment of the ex-President stands the best chance of getting him into prison rather than the White House.
The former House Speaker launched the war of words with Trump after claiming he looked like a 'scared puppy' during his D.C. court appearance on Thursday.
She also called the third and latest indictment against Trump 'beautiful' and said he knows he is going to have to face the music for trying to overturn the 2020 election results.

Everything about the death of Barack Obama’s chef, Tafari Campbell, has been a lie.
Why not the depth of the water, too? I found little about Obama to be true in my years of research, but many lies which I include in my book The Rubbish Hauler’s Wife versus Barack Obama.
The story about the chef’s death changed more often than the days of the week. The Obamas weren’t there, then they were. The daughters may or may not have been there.
In previous versions, Tafari was paddleboarding alone, while someone else was also in the area. That person tried to assist Tafari, unsuccessfully, when he fell off his board

In 2015, David Burge (Iowahawk) posted a now-famous tweet describing leftism: “1. Identify a respected institution. 2. Kill it. 3. Gut it. 4. Wear its carcass as a skin suit, while demanding respect.” In that short tweet, he perfectly described what leftism has done to the Judeo-Christian religion. And that act of wearing a religion’s “carcass as a skin suit, while demanding respect” is the best caption possible for a video in which a female Presbyterian minister, draped in a Planned Parenthood stole, celebrates her abortion and abortions generally.

As RedState reported, a Sikh convenience store owner turned the tables on a shoplifter as he attempted to get away with thousands of dollars of stolen merchandise.
The viral scene unfolded in California, showing a man shoveling entire shelves worth of tobacco and other products into a trash can while taunting the owner with proclamations that “there’s nothing you can do.” The shoplifter quickly learned that wasn’t true, though, as he was tackled to the ground and beaten with a rod. [Video]
Apparently, while many California cities have no desire to actually enforce the laws against people who steal from business owners and put them in financial peril,

Ginormous toxic hammerhead worms - which can grow up to 15 inches - have invaded DC backyards as the slithering creatures shock residents and have scientists warning about getting too close.
Americans are being advised to avoid touching the foot-long flatworms, which feast on slugs, snails and earthworms by paralyzing them with the same potent neurotoxin found in deadly puffer fish.
Also known as spade-headed garden worms, the slippery specimens excrete a septic slime, which can be harmful to humans if ingested.

President Joe Biden will soon ask Congress for a Ukraine aid package that could exceed $10 billion, a report released Tuesday found.
Punchbowl News reported the Ukraine aid battle will resume when Congress returns from recess. The incoming request, which could be “north of $10 billion,” follows as Ukraine continues its slow-moving counteroffensive against Russia, and America and other NATO countries have pledged support for Ukraine.
The Army’s acquisition chief told reporters on Monday that the Department of Defense was working on a funding package for lawmakers to consider. The package would be used to replenish American weapon stockpiles which have been depleted after providing munitions to Ukraine’s protracted conflict with Russia.

Former Vice President Mike Pence has attained the qualifications to attend the first primary debate for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.
Pence's team announced on Monday that his campaign had surpassed 40,000 individual donors, Politico reported. That number is one of the Republican National Committee's requirements to attend the debate on Aug 23 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The former vice president also reached the other needed qualifications, which include polling at least 1% nationally. He is the eighth candidate to qualify, and he's possibly the last.

First Lady Jill Biden is wielding her influence in the public sphere by meeting with drag queens while Americans suffer from rising prices and crime under her husband’s administration.
A photo recently surfaced showing Jill Biden posing with drag queens at the San Francisco event space Welcome to Manny’s. The event space describes itself as a “community focused meeting and learning place” that encourages meetings and engagement with “civic leaders, elected officials, artists, activists, changemakers, and each other.”
Welcome to Manny’s shared an image of Jill Biden flanked by five drag queens, declaring that the event space is “unapologetically queer and unapologetically political.”

The president of the American Library Association, who began her tenure in July by declaring herself a 'Marxist lesbian' when she was elected, now faces staunch criticism by conservatives and states are cutting ties with her group.
In April 2022, following her election to her current post, Emily Drabinski, 48, tweeted (and has since deleted): 'I just cannot believe that a Marxist lesbian who believes that collective power is possible to build and can be wielded for a better world is the president-elect of @ALALibrary'

Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey on Tuesday declared a state of emergency in the liberal state over a surge of migrants that she says has left social services overwhelmed, calling for more funding and federal action. Healey, a Democrat, announced that a state of emergency exists "due to rapid and unabating increases in the number of families with children and pregnant people — many of them newly arriving migrants and refugees — living within the state but without the means to secure safe shelter in our communities." The state says there are nearly 5,600 families or more than 20,000 people in
