In response to the Trump indictment, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is saying that Trump is subject to the same laws as everyone else.
This has become a Democrat talking point. How many times have you heard Democrats say no one is above the law?
It’s a total lie. If it was true, Pelosi, Hillary, Biden and countless other Democrats would already be in jail.

Several of Donald Trump's declared and potential rivals for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination have weighed in on the Manhattan grand jury indictment of the former president.
"The politically motivated indictment of the 45th President of the United States marks a dark moment in American history," Vivek Ramaswamy said in a tweet.
Ramaswamy, a multi-millionaire entrepreneur, best-selling author, and conservative political commentator, declared his 2024 candidacy last month, and was outspoken in his criticism of the looming indictment.

Transgender Americans “shape our nation’s soul,” according to President Joe Biden, who made the assertion Thursday as part of a White House Proclamation on Transgender Day of Visibility. The proclamation came mere days after a transgender shooter allegedly murdered six individuals at a Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee.
A proclamation from the Biden White House celebrates the “Transgender Day of Visibility,” deeming transgender individuals the “bravest people” the president apparently knows.

Justice Department officials are said to be annoyed by the Manhattan District Attorney's decision to indict Trump, as they believe it is a weak case which could undermine more serious legal probes Trump is facing.
Alvin Bragg's intention to criminally charge the former president for his payment of hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels was revealed on Thursday - sparking consternation and anger in Mar-a-Lago, and, according to The New York Times, in Washington DC.
The paper reported that 'senior officials' at the Justice Department had concerns about the strength of Bragg's case.

On Thursday, Joe Biden released a proclamation for the Transgender Day of Visibility. The “holiday” is an annual mark that takes place on March 31st. Biden’s statement “celebrates the joy, strength, and absolute courage of some of the bravest people” just days after six people were murdered by a transgender school shooter in Nashville, Tennessee.
Transgender Day of Visibility was first created in 2009. On Monday, Audrey Hale killed six people, including three children at the Christian Covenant School in Nashville. Hale was a 28-year old transgender who dealt with mental health and gender issues.

The judge who oversaw last year's fraud case against the Trump organization is expected to try the former president over hush money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels.
Judge Juan Merchan was seen arriving at the Manhattan criminal courthouse shortly before 7pm Thursday - just a few hours after a grand jury voted to indict Trump.
Merchan was said to be dressed casually in gray sweatpants, a baseball cap and blue puffy coat as he was flanked by two uniformed court officers. The judge oversaw the trial of two of Trump's companies on tax fraud charges last year.

Donald Trump attended a party at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday night with his wife Melania by his side, hours after learning he was to be criminally charged over covering up hush money payments to a porn star.
The 76-year-old - who is set to become the first former president to face criminal charges - was pictured in a suit and tie beaming as Melania, 52, stood beside him in a red dress.
The specific charges against Trump are not yet known as the indictment remains under seal, but CNN reported that the former president faced more than 30 counts related to business fraud.

Well, America might be going to hell in a handbasket (see: indictment of President Donald Trump) but at least Opening Day in the MLB is here. Unlike other professional sports leagues, it appears there’s still some ounce of patriotism that can be found in America’s pastime — so much so that St. Louis pitcher Adam Wainwright sang the Star-Spangled banner.
Introduced as an “up and coming St. Louis artist,” Wainwright belted out the National Anthem prior to the team’s home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays. Here’s Wainwright, who is known as “Uncle Charlie,”

The Gateway Pundit reported that a Manhattan jury voted to indict President Donald Trump Thursday afternoon.
Trump is facing 34 counts related to business fraud as CNN first reported.
Before springing this nasty surprise, the jury announced on Wednesday that they were going on a month-long break.
Former Vice President Mike Pence sat down for an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Thursday night. As one would expect, the first question from Blitzer was about the indictment of Trump.

The Manhattan grand jury indictment Thursday night of former President Donald Trump is sparking new scrutiny of the George Soros-supported district attorney who led the investigation into Trump's alleged violations of state campaign finance laws.
The former president is expected to surrender to District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office early next week, following his indictment stemming from Bragg's investigation into Trump's alleged hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016.
