The legal team representing former President Donald Trump formally has requested a six-month delay in the civil case filed against him by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
James brought a civil suit against Trump in September, alleging the Trump organization had fraudulently inflated the value of certain assets.
The lawsuit alleges Trump and senior executives at the Trump Organization, along with children Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump, "falsely inflated" Trump's net worth by billions of dollars in an effort to secure bank loans with more favorable terms.

The FBI’s Washington Field Office (WFO) affirmed that there may have been “undercover officers” and “confidential human sources” inside the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, according to whistleblower testimony obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The FBI’s Washington Field Office requested the Boston Field Office open investigations into 140 individuals who took buses from Massachusetts to D.C. on Jan. 6., but denied the office’s request to see video proving those individuals were inside the Capitol, FBI whistleblower George Hill said during a Feb. 10 interview with the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. The office claimed they needed to “protect” the identity of possible undercover agents,

Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury is not the (allegedly) dirtiest fight of 2023. That title belt goes to DirecTV vs. Newsmax TV.
Some quick background: After failing to come to terms on a new carriage deal, DirecTV and Newsmax TV parted ways in late January. DirecTV, one of the first pay-TV services to carry Newsmax when it launched nearly a decade ago, brought in a new right-leaning cable-news channel, The First, in its place.Negotiations between DirecTV and Newsmax continued, the dispute has devolved into accusations about greed, playing politics, and even antisemitism. Like we said, it’s bad.
But, incredibly, it is still resolvable.

Disgraced former South Carolina lawyer Alex Murdaugh and his family members have given hundreds of thousands of dollars in political contributions over the years, including to top Democrats such as Hillary Clinton and President Joe Biden.
The Murdaugh family has long been influential in South Carolina’s political and legal realms. However, Murdaugh on Thursday was convicted by a South Carolina jury for the double murder of his wife and son.

General Michael Flynn is a retired United States Army lieutenant general who was the 24th U.S. National Security Advisor for the first 22 days of the Trump administration. General Flynn, a staunch Trump ally and confidante, was forced to resign in 2017 following screaming reports that he had lied regarding conversations with Sergey Kislyak, a Russian diplomat. This was while the Democrat Party and highest levels of US intelligence concocted an attempted coup to take down the sitting President based on what they knew was fraudulent accusations that Trump was Vladimir Putin’s stooge. General Michael Flynn was collateral damage. They had to remove him to get

The Delaware Supreme Court literally lowered the bar this week by changing the grade needed to become a certified lawyer in The First State as part of its attempt to increase racial diversity among lawyers and judges. Yet, those responsible for the change insist that it has not lowered standards.
Of course, certain barriers are put in place to keep unqualified people from doing very important jobs. Nonetheless, Delaware Supreme Court Chief Justice Collins J. Seitz Jr. said via a news release, “the bar exam is not supposed to be a barrier to entering the profession but is supposed to be a test of an applicant’s ability to successfully practice law

As Donald J. Trump revs up his campaign for 2024, he continued to make news with big plans for his re-election. On Friday, he released a video titled, “Agenda47: A New Quantum Leap to Revolutionize the American Standard of Living.” Trump’s speech emphasized the need for America to regain its boldness and pursue big dreams like past generations did.
“Today our country has lost its boldness. Under my leadership, we will get it back in a very big way,” he stated. Trump discussed several ways this can be achieved, such as building new cities and transforming transportation with vertical takeoff and landing vehicles. “Our objective will be a Quantum Leap

Talk about your Friday news dump. The White House has released a statement from Joe Biden’s doctor stating that the president had “cancerous tissue” removed.
The procedure occurred on February 16th but was not revealed to the public at the time. A biopsy came back and confirmed the “skin lesion” was cancerous. (Tweet) As is typical with these statements from doctors vouching for politicians, the most positive spin is being put on the event. According to the president’s physician, no further treatment is required and Biden has healed “nicely.” I suspect that’ll be the official line from the White House going forward.

Whatever dream Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) had of running for president in 2024 is dead, and Californians are the ones who have killed it.
A poll from Quinnipiac University found that just 24% of Californians want him to run for president, whereas 70% do not. Even among California Democrats, Newsom is still in the negatives, with 54% wanting him to sit out in 2024 and only 35% wanting him to run. This is despite the fact that 57% of Californians and 37% of California Democrats do not want President Joe Biden to run, according to a poll from the Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies.

The Georgia Senate passed a bill on Thursday that seeks to prohibit local election offices from working around state law to use any kind of private funding to conduct elections.
Known as SB 222, the measure stipulates that all “costs and expenses related to conducting primaries, elections, runoffs, or other undertakings authorized or required by [state law] shall be paid from lawfully appropriated public funds.”
“[N]o county or municipal government, government employee, or election official shall solicit, take, or otherwise accept from any person a contribution, donation, service, or anything else of value for the purpose of conducting primaries or elections

Amalgamated Bank, with just five branches across three cities, would seem an unlikely mover and shaker in the world of Wall Street, let alone Washington, D.C. Yet last fall, it successfully pressured colossal credit card companies Visa, Mastercard, and American Express to use the financial system to track and report gun purchases. Amalgamated is “more than a bank,” says Michael Watson of the Capital Research Center. “It’s a bank for an ideological movement.”
This “ideological” bank holds $7 billion in deposits and manages or maintains custody of some $51 billion. That pales in comparison to

Wild-eyed, drunk and sneering with privilege, this is legal scion turned double murderer Alex Murdaugh dressing as a Confederate soldier for a frat party photo obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.
Grinning Murdaugh donned Civil War-style fatigues for a 1989 'Old South' ball he attended with Kappa Alpha pals from the University of South California.
College acquaintances remember him as a swaggering bully who boasted of his family's high-powered connections, drank heavily, and challenged students to fist fights.
