Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) and former President Donald Trump’s 2024 senior adviser Boris Epshteyn slammed the New York Times on Sunday for portraying Trump in a Saturday hit piece as distrustful of the New York state congresswoman, despite the fact Stefanik and Trump speak with one another multiple times a week.
The Times article, which cited two anonymous sources close to Trump, alleged the former president does not trust Stefanik, a claim Stefanik’s team and Trump’s adviser, Boris Epshteyn, told Breitbart News was totally fake news. (Tweet) Stefanik and Trump’s relationship has appeared to be one of the strongest alliances within the America First movement. Trump endorsed Stefanik in 2021 to replace Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY)

I’ve spent the last month mentally recuperating from one of the most grueling yet fulfilling moments of my life so far.
When I started on-the-ground coverage of the Arizona general election in September, I had no idea that I would become a regular member of one of the most highly-watched press pools in the nation. And for a college student, that’s objectively terrifying, even though I’m not exactly “brand new” to the media world.
Let’s just say, the pace began increasing quickly as the fall months melted into each other. I learned fast that I had to go beyond my own understanding of time management in order to balance

Trevor Bickford appeared to be a typical, all-American teenager before he allegedly became a radicalized Muslim and slashed two cops with a machete in Times Square.
The alleged Islamic extremist, 19, once made the school honor roll, won awards for his artwork and was a member of the championship football team in his hometown of Wells, Maine.
But after his father died of a drug overdose in 2018, it's believed Bickford's life descended into turmoil.
By the time Bickford made his way to New York City on Amtrak alone for the alleged attacks this weekend, the teen was already reportedly on the FBI's radar.

The U.S. Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Protocol Office blasted out a message on Thursday to all Senate offices noting that Harris’s office is requiring the coronavirus tests before taking photos with the vice president.
“The Vice President’s office has requested that we send their standard COVID-19 protocol information to offices participating in the reenactment opportunity in the Old Senate Chamber. Please see their suggested process below,”

Maxwell Frost, the first member of Generation Z to be elected to Congress, said he will likely couch surf during his first days as a lawmaker in Washington, D.C. because he was denied apartment applications.
Apartment buildings in Washington, D.C. conduct credit checks and most require tenants to make triple the monthly salary that the apartment costs.
Frost, who will make a yearly salary of $174,000 as a House congressman, said that he was denied apartment applications because of his 'really bad' credit.
'Yeah, I mean, it's not cheap,' Frost, 25, told ABC's This Week on Sunday morning.

Now that Democrats have released Trump’s tax returns, an unprecedented and vindictive move, they may regret it.

The family of accused Idaho murderer Bryan Kohberger is standing by their son in an effort to “promote his presumption of innocence,” they said Sunday in their first public statement.
Kohberger, 28, was arrested Friday in his family home in Pennsylvania for the fatal Nov. 13 stabbings of four University of Idaho students.
His public defender Jason A. LaBar released the statement on behalf of his parents and his sister.
“We have fully cooperated with law enforcement agencies in an attempt to seek the truth and promote his presumption of innocence rather than judge unknown facts and make erroneous assumptions,” the family said.

The January 6th committee recently ended with a whimper after a year of pomp and circumstance. Despite much manipulation of information by its members, the committee’s report garnered all of about eight hours of headline news before quickly burning out.
Why? Because there was almost nothing revealed that we didn’t already know in it, and no matter how much Liz Cheney, Adam Schiff, and the rest insisted otherwise, they themselves never produced an ounce of evidence that Donald Trump orchestrated and was responsible for the Capitol breach.
Still, there was something interesting shown in the testimony of now-infamous Ray Epps, the man who was caught on video multiple times

Joe Biden was a profile in pettiness when he took up residence in the White House, trying to rid the Oval Office of the famous Resolute Desk merely because Donald Trump used it — and cursing out his predecessor over a video game system, a forthcoming book claims.
In “The Fight of His Life,” out Jan. 17, author Chris Whipple writes that Biden “would let loose” on the “former guy” whenever he took a friend on a private tour of the presidential abode.

Dr. Jill and Joe delivered a New Year message during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rocking Eve with host Ryan Seacrest.
Dr. Jill shouted over her husband, “Happy New Year!”
Ryan Seacrest asked the Bidens about their first New Year’s eve together.
Joe Biden mumbled something about spending the evening with Jill’s whole family because they weren’t married yet. This never happened.
At one point Dr. Jill told Americans to get their Covid vaccine and flu shot.
“You better listen to her,” Biden mumbled.

California will see several radical laws go into effect on Sunday, January 1, including a law making the state a “sanctuary” for “transgender kids,” and a law imposing penalties on doctors for COVID “misinformation.”
Here are the five most radical new laws — plus one that is currently on hold in the courts — taking place on New Year’s Day in the Golden State, with little effective opposition from a shrinking Republican legislative minority:
1. SB 107: ‘Sanctuary State’ for ‘Transgender Kids’ – This law, signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) in September, protects the use of drugs or surgery to provide so-called “gender-affirming care” to children from other states where
