The script is sickeningly familiar by now, isn’t it? Establishment Republicans -- led throughout the ’22 elections and in their aftermath by the notorious Kentucky senator-for-life Mitch McConnell -- betrayed their party’s base, which is staunchly conservative, increasingly in an America First sorta way.
Yes, lest one is confused because of all the serial betrayals, we’re referring to the gross obscenity called the “$1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill.” For true-blue conservatives, the brazen middle-finger thrust rudely into their faces by McConnell and seventeen other Senate go-alongs should be an act of war. Political war, that is.

Democrat Rep. Jaime Raskin on Sunday called the Electoral College a ‘danger to the American people’ during an appearance on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”
“Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan asked Raskin about the January 6 Committee and the Electoral Count Reform Act that just passed both chambers of Congress as part of the $1.7 trillion Omnibus bill.
Raskin called the Electoral College a danger to the American people and said the Electoral Count Reform Act didn’t go far enough.

The FBI on Wednesday finally broke its silence and responded to the revelations on Twitter of close ties between the bureau and the social media giant—ties that included efforts to suppress information and censor political speech.
“The correspondence between the FBI and Twitter show nothing more than examples of our traditional, longstanding and ongoing federal government and private sector engagements, which involve numerous companies over multiple sectors and industries,” the bureau said in a statement. “As evidenced in the correspondence, the FBI provides critical information to the private sector in an effort to allow them to protect themselves and their customers. The men and women of the FBI work

Donald Trump's tax returns will be made public at midday after a nearly four-year-long fight that saw the former president fight tooth-and-nail to shield his financial statements from public view.
The Democrat-controlled House Ways and Means Committee voted last Tuesday evening to release the returns, in a debate that lasted more than three hours behind closed doors.
The final vote was 24 to 16. All Democrats voted in favor of the action while all Republicans on the panel voted against.
Six years' worth of Trump's most recent tax returns will be covered, as well as documents from eight of his businesses. They will be partially-redacted.

The corporate media still pushes the narrative that global depopulation agenda is a “conspiracy theory.” If, by “conspiracy theory,” it’s meant that the global depopulation agenda is a theory describing a conspiracy of elites to depopulate the world, that’s a technically accurate label. But, if they mean by the term “conspiracy theory” that global depopulation is not true and anyone who subscribes to it is crazy (which is what they really mean), it’s just gaslighting.
The truth’s right there in the public record for anyone to see.

When fall comes around, everyone starts thinking about Christmas. People are getting their shopping lists ready and picking up items for their parties. For kids, this is the perfect opportunity to show off how good they’ve been during the year.
Unfortunately, Christmas can also bring some very sad and tragic episodes. We’re not talking about getting the wrong size of clothes or the wrong video game system, either. Many times, people encounter terrible family situations, illness, or death. Anyone who watches the news will hear about something horrific happening during the holiday. Having to deal with a terrible scenario is something no one expects during such a joyous season.

Deadly blizzard conditions in upstate New York gave cover to local looters over the weekend as they robbed businesses while police were stuck elsewhere.
“I don’t know how these people can even live with themselves, how they can look at themselves in the mirror,” Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown raged to reporters Monday.
“They are the ‘lowest of the low,” Brown said of the opportunistic crooks.
Some businesses had their windows smashed and merchandise damaged and stolen as snow and ice pummeled the region, local TV station WRGZ reported.

As if any further evidence is needed that diversity-obsessed activists will never be satisfied, an MSNBC host and her two guests found reason to be unhappy about the historic firsts of two black women who were elevated to the pinnacle of their professions, suggesting that new Harvard University President Claudine Gay and Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson have already been undermined by a system of oppression that has set them up for failure.
On Saturday’s edition of the “The Mehdi Hasan Show,” a segment was devoted to the so-called “glass cliff,” a theory that women who achieve leadership roles often are allowed to do so during times of crisis

MSNBC host Ari Melber said Monday on his show “The Beat” that House Republican’s plans to investigate Hunter Biden was a “reach” and “not classy.”
Melber said, “When you look ahead and talk about Biden and the paradox that the midterms revealed late in the year is that Joe Biden is not super popular in any particularly measurable way, but he is a steady, trusted alternative to what you both have outlined here, which is the MAGA-fied Republican Party.”

At least 39 people have died from the wintry weather wreaking havoc across the U.S. over Christmas weekend.
The highest number of fatalities is in New York state, where 17 people have died in the wake of a massive snowstorm, according to New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.
In the middle of this wintery devastation, certain individuals decided this was an opportunity to destroy local businesses by looting them.
At approximately 1730 EST, reports began to emerge in local media of looting incidents in Buffalo, NY, where residents are becoming desperate after three days of intense snowfall and cold temperatures. New York State Police confirmed the looting incidents.

A newly-leaked European Union document has exposed a clandestine plan to expand the Palestinian control over Judea and Samaria. The 6-page confidential policy document, reportedly written by the EU mission in East Jerusalem, shows the European bloc’s intent to help Palestinians gain full control of Judea and Samaria, even the areas inhabited by Israeli Jews. Judea and Samaria, also referred to in the media as the West Bank, was split into three “Areas” under the Oslo Accords of 1993.(Snip)The EU also wants to undermine the historic Jewish claim to the biblical land.

For Hollywood, 2022 was truly an annus horribilis.
Major studios, streamers, cable providers, and other media giants lost a combined $542 billion in market value in 2022, with left-wing studios the Walt Disney Co., Netflix, and Comcast accounting for the bulk of the bloodshed.
The Dow Jones Media Titans index, which tracks the performance of 30 of the world’s biggest media companies, shed 40 percent this year, with its total market value declining from $1.35 trillion to $808 billion, according to a Financial Times report.
The losses outpaced indices for other sectors, including banking, which saw a 14.5 percent drop for the year, and telecommunications, which fell by 11.2 percent.
