Violent and disrespectful classroom behavior has led to a staggering 50 teachers and bus drivers to quit a Florida school district in the last two years.
Brevard County School District, the state’s 10th-largest, held a heated meeting Thursday that offered an unvarnished and often disturbing glimpse into the state of its classrooms.
“On an everyday basis I am deflecting being attacked, scratched, headbutted, pushed, hit,” teacher Alicia Kelderhouse said as her voice choked with emotion. “I’ve had my hair pulled, and pulled down to the ground. I’ve had my throat gone for on multiple occasions. It’s on an everyday basis right now.”

More tribal behavior from the ones who insist they are equal. As much as I believe abortion is an abomination, maybe we could use a whole bunch more of them. What a bunch of animals.

My first reaction is to say no phones in class. Period. Leave them at home or in the school office if you must take them to school. Pick them up after school. Then clamp down on bad behavior no matter the age, sex or race of the student.
I know this is a pipe dream though.

On July 26, 2012, Barack Obola issued an Executive Order titled, On the Education of African American Students.
Part of the executive order had to do with student disciplinary actions by race, by school building, and created a quota systemfor the dispesning of discipline.
Read it if you don'' believe me.

Put signal jammers in classrooms, beat the crap out of the kid attackers, suspend the attackers for long periods of time and if a group is being blamed for majority of the assaults that is because they are guilty of doing just that. Let people sue and lose and be faced with paying other sides legal fees. That will stop the suing threat nonsense. This is all due to crappy parenting! Who cares if these thugs get educated. If they don’t want to respect being educated then good riddance. Time for a voucher system and shut public schools down. If teachers unions were more interested in education than worrying about a child’s sex organs and what sex they want to change into today we wouldn’t be having these issues. Time to disband the teachers Union and the federal department of education.

Reformatories have worked well in the past. Properly run, they could be an effective tool for educating the uneducable parasitic populace of Brevard County.

I read about a school district when a student is disruptive they are required to bring a parent to class to sit with them for a day...it solved the problem. One Big problem is school districts allow the students to control the schools. It's not fair to the students who want to learn.

The answer is to separate the troublemakers and put them in an environment where they can be controlled. Call it, "Reform School". Treat them like the thugs they are until they stop doing this crap. Isolate, separate (males from females) and yes, indoctrinate, since obviously, their parents didn't or couldn't teach them to be humans.

Establish discipline, reasonable expectations and respect for authority of those teaching.
Forget the woke crap to justify bad behavior ruining education of the students who ARE participating trying to learn, and remove those who are making or executing threats on others.
Remove the cell phones if they are out, which has resulted in attacks on teachers, and don't back down until order is established. There is ALWAYS a test of wills to see if students can manage the teachers, and if they do, nothing but chaos will reign.
Make sure the campus principal and associate principals don't take any crap from bad behavior being excused for wokeness or race, or other such items. Kids are quick to blame OTHERS for their lack of cooperation, so be consistent and deal with ONE STUDENT at a time.
Or, just give up and see the classrooms empty out of qualified teachers. Parents want their children to be educated, some more than others, and removing their kids from low-performing schools is their right in the interest of their children's futures. Many public schools are failed experiments is liberal policy experiments.....

Seriously how can you enforce anything when the “adults” in charge scream racism while Jamal throws a desk across the floor. The truth is that there isn’t any discipline in their lives and when young people are left free to roam this is what happens. in my field I visit up to 40 homes a week, I know as soon as I enter a home the type of parenting that’s going on. Good and bad parenting is in all races.

2nd post apologies, but, #15, the U.S. Supreme Court in 1975, in the case of Goss v. Lopez, ruled that primary and secondary educaion is a property right, and cannot be deprived without due process.
Due process means that if you expel a student permanently, or for more than 5 days, the srudent has the right to counsel, a hearing, the right to confront witnesses. It is way easier to not expel. The Parkland school shootiing may be a product of that thinking.
The Biden Executive Order cited earlier is EO 13621, dated July 26, 2012.

From former teacher - inclusion, differentiation, diversity, phones, and most of all, that culture that produces 70% illegitimate feral children rob sincere students of their opportunity for good education. If possible, move to the most affluent, small school district you can afford for the best education. Successful schools and students come from successful families that are educated and value education.

A little geography lesson. Brevard is often confused with Broward county, but they couldn't be more different.
Broward (one of the 3 stupid counties along with Palm Beach and Miami-Dade) is the Ft Lauderdale area and Brevard is halfway up the coast and hosts Cape Canaveral and the NASA stuff. Personally, I wouldn't live there.
Thank You.

Get rid of the law that says every child must go to school until they reach a certain age.
Then expel those who do not want to learn.
Just get rid of them, they aren't learning anything anyway why keep them in school stopping others from learning. I don't care if they are as young as 12. If they cannot behave and disrupt others get rid of them. The world needs garbage men and laborers too.

This is a huge problem across the country; it crosses race. If you love your children, if you love your grand children, then you will find an alternate way to educate them. There is no future for a child to succeed in public schools. And it doesn’t matter what neighborhood it’s in. Scratch a “good” school and you’ll find the serpents.
