Mask mandates coming back?

As cold and flu season gets going, and COVID infections have begun to surge around the world, the COVID fascists are gearing up to impose new mask mandates.
Canada–because of course Canada–is already seeing mandates reappear. Premiers in more conservative Canadian provinces are not giving in to the pressure, at least not yet, but the mandates are popping up and the debate is raging. The same vicious tactics are being used by the COVIDidiots, but with a twist. The RSV pandemic–caused by immunological deficits in children that accumulated during the isolation COVID policies created–is now being used as an additional excuse to keep kids unexposed to germs.

RSV. Had anyone heard of RSV until recently? Suddenly it's in all the news. Big Pharma is getting ready to spring an mRNA "vaccination" on us for the sudden RSV "emergency" , just watch.

RSV comes around every single year. Seeing it more this year, but it will run it’s course. The most at-risk are ex-preemies with chronic lung disease, and they receive monthly antibody injections that does great at keeping them out of the hospital.
For normal kids, it’s a bad cold. So now these creeps want to mask our children because they may catch a cold.
This is what matriarchy looks like.

No way in HELL! The fact that the size of the virus slips right through the masks is apparently NOT important...so much for Leftist Science (SCAM)

I had RSV two years ago. Got it from my grandson who got it at daycare. He no longer goes to daycare. It was just a bad cold. I also had covid earlier this year, am unvaxxed and have plenty of anti-bodies. I’ve been exposed to it several times lately and have not gotten sick at all.
As to mask mandates - they won’t happen in my state because our governor has banned them, except in medical facilities. Otherwise, not just no but hell no!

Both my children had RSV when they were about 7 months old. It was a bad cold and made them fretful. But they recovered quickly.

I would support a mask mandate for all blue states, but this time let's do it right and use a plastic bag over the entire head.

I was at the grocery store last week and a whole family was wearing masks - mother, father and child. They were wearing the cloth masks that they are now saying don't work at all. It's got to be virtue signaling, right?

Please read the warning label on the mask box. Warning, masks do not prevent against transmission of infectious diseases. Anyone understand English?

That would be a big NO for me. I never wore one during covid. I currently have "cold" that started last week-end. It is possible I got it from a grocery cart a few days earlier. Stores no longer wipe down their carts and are frequently out of the wipes for the customers to do it. I seldom go out and around people so there are few places for me to catch stuff. Personally I think grocery carts are the worst transmitters of illnesses. When we lived in AZ, I got sick a couple of times after going to the grocery store and finally figured out that I have no resistance to the illness kids get these days. I had 6 kids and they had everything under the sun, but the new stuff coming across the border and elsewhere is something else.

Good points made about grocery carts. Hand contact is probably the biggest spreader of illnesses (aside from being coughed on).

Shopping carts are likely germ spreaders, but we aren't powerless to stop them. Don't touch your face while shopping. Carry hand sanitizer or wipes to use as needed. Clean your hands after leaving the store, before touching your steering wheel. Clean it and your key chain, too, as needed but don't overdo it. I don't go out much (don't need to: I enjoy being home), but picked up a cold recently after going thrift shopping during the cooler weather. Now my intention is to go out more, since my resistance has likely been weakened, probably from not being around others much. I agree with #16 that what's coming across the border is not what we're used to. I also take supplements known to build the immune system. I have good natural antibodies, "strongly dislike" foolish masks, and take reasonable precautions to prevent infections.
