Let’s get right to the point: Where are all the splashy full-page ad campaigns from purported Christian “leaders” condemning the moral degeneracy of this Biden administration?
Or does being a “prophetic witness” to the “political class” only gain renewed interest in elite evangelical sectors when the person occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has an “R” next to his name?
For context, let’s rewind back to 2017.
Shortly after Donald Trump assumed office, he issued an executive order that suspended travel into the United States from seven countries and paused most refugee resettlements for 120 days.

Well, there's Christian, and then there's christian. As in CINO.
Condolences to the family of Ms. Lucianne, a brave, brave and consistent woman. Thank you!

Amen. The quest to woo the "unchurched" means never having to call out the utter depravity of carving up kids.

These cowardly Pastors never went against an illegal mandate of closing their churches, so why expect bravery against marxist liberal democrats? GEEZE!
Lucianne was the BESSSST! A true American Patriot! May God continue to bless her family!

This is what happens when you have women and effeminate men running churches…

I think a legitimate question, in the form of an analogy might be...
You are in a sea-worthy vessel and happen upon a ship taking on water in every conceivable manner. Should you...
A. Get off of your vessel and start bailing water and patching the holes of the ship going down?
B. Let the souls on the sinking ship climb into your vessel?
Did Paul spend his time trying to make political changes in Rome or did he spend his time making changes in the hearts of individuals?
My opinion? The world is going to hell in a hand basket. It is lost and irredeemable. But not all of the souls who inhabit it. The Church is the seaworthy vessel and Christian leaders should spend more time tending to its integrity while inviting all on board who care to make the journey. Trying to fix the world is a fool's errand. It cannot be done.

The Reverend Franklin Graham does speak out on many social issues plaguing our country. He also heads up Samaritans Purse which includes Operation Christmas Child which sends shoebox gifts to millions of poor kids around the world spreading the good news of the Bible.

Don't try to hide behind Churhc leadership. Their job is first of all You, and I say you have a problem with casual partisan slander which I would raise if it were me, and secondly, their job is the souls, not political standing, of others. It is not their job to denounce people in public. It is their job to save souls. Kindly note, o Prophet, that Paul does not denounce the Emperor, nor did Jesus Christ. So. You do your political job, and don try to leverage sectarian jealousy and rivaly to make other people do it for you You go denounce those people and stop trying to hide behind them and make them do it for you. You Go.

Where were all these religious leaders during the lockdowns of 2020-2021? Church leaders were awfully quiet about churches being closed. And where are they these past 2 years on the open Southern Border? Guess they don't care about the suffering of those mostly non-Muslims hordes invading this country.

It's up to the Christians in the pews of churches to demand their pastors to speak out about the corruption in our government and society/the church. But we're not hopeful. Our pastor wouldn't even call out sin in people's lives in our church. He is a coward. So we left. Jason Mattera is absolutely right about the condition of the American Christian Church. We would have a different country if pastors would speak out and be the Salt and Light that Jesus called us all to be.
I will miss Ms. Lucianne greatly. I e-mailed her a few times and sent her a family photo years ago and she always was gracious, kind and wonderful. She even sent thank you notes. We all loved her. I believe Lucianne is with Jesus today :)

"Evangelical" Christianity is full of many false teachers. We live in a Laodicean age.

Check the link. Who knew we even had an 'Office of Population Affairs'? I suspect it has some influence at the border, no?

Was Jesus a coward for telling us to render unto Caesar instead of mobilizing activists to change Caesar's policies? Was he feckless/effeminate/passive for washing his disciples' feet and changing our hearts instead?

John MacArthur has spoken out many times, and most recently wrote an open letter to Gavin Newsom condemning his policies. In that letter, he said: The diabolical effects of your worldview are evident in the statistics of California’s epidemics of crime, homelessness, sexual perversions" including transgenderism, "and other malignant expressions of human misery that stem directly from corrupt public policy. I don’t need to itemize or elaborate on the many immoral decisions you have perpetrated against God and the people of our state, which have only exacerbated these problems. Nevertheless, my goal in writing is not to contend with your politics, but rather to plead with you to hear and heed what the Word of God says to men in your position." RIP Miss Lucianne. You will be so greatly missed.
