Surprise, surprise. It wasn’t the social media platforms alone that censored the Hunter Biden laptop story before the election. No, the FBI asked Facebook to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 election, calling it Russian disinformation. Indeed, FBI investigators knew the laptop and its disgusting contents were all too real because they’d held possession of the laptop since 2019. The laptop contained the disgusting details of Hunter’s sex and drug life, business dealings, and evidence of big paydays from Ukraine and China–all of which presented a national security risk to the U.S.

The Biden administration’s sweeping student loan relief initiative is irresponsible and likely to make decades-high inflation even worse, according to the chief economist to former President Barack Obama. Jason Furman, who chaired Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, ripped Biden’s debt forgiveness plan in a lengthy Twitter thread. Inflation hit 8.5% in July and was already expected to remain elevated for the foreseeable future before the announcement. “Pouring roughly half trillion dollars of gasoline on the inflationary fire that is already burning is reckless,” Furman tweeted.

Now that the Anthony Fauci era may soon be (finally) coming to an end, it may be useful to reflect on the very real damage this man has done over the course of the past several years during the most extraordinary reaction to a viral pandemic the American people have ever seen. Yes, you read that right. Even during the devastating Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918, when 500 million people worldwide were infected with an estimated 50 million deaths, the American reaction through the federal government was relatively muted and the economic impact created at the direction of our national leaders was minimal. As officials in the country express their fears about future gas riots this winter, the German government has announced a host of new energy rationing rules that will come into effect from next Thursday. In what appears to be the latest attempt to avoid energy shortages this winter, the German government is to implement restrictions limiting the use of energy in the country. Ministers appear to be hoping that the rationing efforts will help reduce the risk of energy shortages this coming winter, with a number of bigwigs now openly fearful of a future of public unrest and gas riots should people be left unable to adequately heat their homes.

The next time Republicans control all three branches of government they may wish to visit an old idea - the flat tax. When magazine publisher and Republican Steve Forbes ran for president in 1996, the flat tax was at the heart of his campaign. Forbes lost the nomination to Bob Dole, who lost the election to Bill Clinton. Coupled with a serious reduction in wasteful and unnecessary spending, a flat tax could revive the economy for decades to come. Forbes proposed a 17 percent flat tax with generous exemptions of $13,000 for each adult and $5,000 for each child. He proposed eliminating "unfair double taxation of personal savings, Social Security, pensions,

At one point in the 1980s, O’Donnell had a modest career as a comedian, but we dare you to come up with one memorable, laughable joke or bit that she performed. She had her own talk show for a few years, and then famously played the role of the most-left host of the insufferable program known as The View, but again, aside from perhaps a few antagonistic

President Joe Biden is looking north for critical mineral supplies to meet government-inflated demand for clean-energy initiatives while the administration shuts down major mining projects on American soil. In March, the president invoked the Defense Production Act to expedite the expansion of U.S. mining operations behind lithium, nickel, cobalt, graphite, and manganese as demand rises for the raw materials. Not only are the critical minerals central to the administration’s subsidized wind and solar farms, but they are essential for defense technologies and popular products from cell phones to laptops.

Since we don’t want a scenario like that in the films Deep Impact and Armageddon, NASA has been working on technology that will allow it to neutralize the threat without sending Bruce Willis or Robert Duvall into space. NASA is conducting a test of its planetary defense system on Sept. 26.
