Trump raid not about classified documents
— it’s about Jan. 6

The court-authorized search of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate is another unmistakable signal that the Justice Department is trying to build a criminal case against him arising out of the Capitol riot. Ostensibly, the search relates to a long simmering dispute between the former president and the government over Trump’s potentially illegal retention and mishandling of classified information. But don’t be deceived. National Archives officials alerted the Justice Department months ago regarding missing records and possible classified information violations.

Yeah I believe it is about J6. Liz C more or less gave it away when she said there would be even more evidence to come when their next session starts. Yep, had to get the FBI to manufacture more crap so she can pursue her persecution obsession of Trump. Well it is NOT going to work, you witch, it is already backfiring "bigly"! FLC!!!

And one can opine that the battle at Gettysburg was all about the town, too. J6 is not what any of this "is about". It's about '24 and the potential return of FPDT to the White House - and the (mythical) UNIPARTY won't have that. This is a political cage match to the death, a real life Armageddon. Whatever it takes will be done. That (mythical) UNIPARTY invested heavily in removing PDT in '20, even fixing "upset" election results in SIX REPUBLICAN STATES without significant legislative review BEFORE electors were certified. That investment will not be allowed to circle any drain - it wasn't cheap.

I read this 55 years ago when I was in college. Ayn Rand was a huge influence on my budding political development and still is. "When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - When you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - When you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - When you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - You may know that your society is doomed." Would you believe the dog ate my homework? No? How about the wind blew it out of my back pack? No? What about a squirrel grabbed it out of my hand and ran up a tree with it? There is no plan, no principle, just scorched earth. Burn down everything possible and then see if anything sticks. Maybe they’ll find a dress in Melania’s closet by a Russian designer. They have nothing other than complete control of law enforcement- no evidence, no crime, no theory- and they won’t stop shooting until they are pulled out of their positions.

I don't think they ever want a trial where discovery would expose Pelosi, Epps, mayor of DC, thousands of hours of video yet unseen and a lot of exculpatory testimony.

Reports say that Biden's Stasi (FBI goons) only allowed the Trump lawyers to "see" the warrant after some prodding (and may not have left a copy and if so, only a very basic boilerplate version with few details), did not allow representatives (lawyers) of Pres. Trump to observe the search, even requiring that surveillance cameras be turned off, and not leaving a detailed inventory of the documents stolen during the Stasi theft. It will be easy to "salt" these documents with fake incriminating documents. And unlike Dan Rather's sources, I expect this crew might know how to use the proper font and equipment (remember the 60s military memo about Pres.Bush 43 written on Microsoft Word).

It's about the J6 Committee. And the J6 Committee is all about N2024, not about J6. The hysteria over Trump became unrelentingly dishonest from the get-go. Fake News, fraudulent charges, illegal wiretaps and searches, et al. The Dems and NeverTrumpers have become the new Soviets, under the pretense of trying to prevent another Hitler.

Poster #5 - I agree with you completely. The only way Liz Cheney and others can get a guilty verdict is if we were living in a banana republic where the innocent have no rights. Unfortunately, many of those imprisoned because they were in D.C. on January 6 must believe that THEY are living in a third-world country without the protection of our Bill of Rights.

I believe that J6 is the most likely event that they would like to nail Donald Trump on but anything will do that puts him in a bad light. If the feebs can plant a letter from Kim Jong Un inviting him to a tea party in the presidential palace in Pyongyang, the power-mad anti-Trumpers will use it and claim collusion.

I have never liked Andrew C. McCarthy. He appears to straddle the fence between conservative and liberal. What he does is makes everyone mad. State your position McCarthy. Not either it's this or it's that. I hate swishy politicians and Andrew, you are one of those. One day, we love you, and the next day, you stink. Are you related to Lindsey Graham?

House Republicans demanded the Department of Justice now release not just the warrant used to raid Mar-a-Lago but the highly detailed accompanying affidavit. Attorney General Merrick Garland announced Thursday he would ask a judge to unseal the warrant, barring former President Trump's objection. Trump released a statement Friday calling for the warrant to be released immediately. But the government has not yet taken steps to release the affidavit used in support of the warrant, which would reveal in further detail the broad investigation into Trump.

The warrant that authorized the search of former President Donald Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago shows it was issued by U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart on Aug. 5, 2022, at 12:12 p.m.—nearly three full days before the Justice Department and FBI conducted a raid to execute it. The raid did not occur until the morning of Aug. 8, 2022, when federal agents from the FBI arrived at Mar-a-Lago to execute the search warrant. The document, obtained and reviewed by Breitbart News, shows that the DOJ and FBI waited several days after Reinhart approved the warrant to conduct the raid, something that severely undercuts the talking points issued by Attorney General Merrick Garland

One of the main reasons why the left’s propaganda is so effective with so many is the ability to stick to a script in order to present a uniform narrative across media outlets with talking heads all regurgitating the same talking points, and a perfect example is the aftermath of the FBI’s storming of former President Donald J. Following initial confusion and outrage over the extreme escalation in the regime’s political war against the leading candidate of the opposition party, those whose livelihoods depend on their being able to sell falsehoods and distortions to the public clearly got the memo and Grabien Media founder Tom Elliott put together

The FBI raid of former President Donald Trump's Florida estate sparked backlash from extreme right-wing users on internet forums against a Florida magistrate judge who approved the unprecedented search, prompting concerns about judicial security from law enforcement in the Palm Beach area. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart, who is believed to have signed the still-sealed FBI warrant approving the bureau’s Monday raid at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort, has been subject to antisemitic attacks, disclosure of where he allegedly lives, and threats against his family on pro-Trump online social media forums, including the message board formerly known as "TheDonald.win."

Days after the unprecedented raid of Donald Trump’s Florida home, AG Merrick Garland finally decided to address the public on Thursday regarding the matter. Some naively hoped that he’d provide a legitimate justification for the raid, but as expected, that didn’t materialize, mostly because there was no justification. Instead, Garland danced about while revealing a few noteworthy things. One, we learned that he was the one that ordered the raid, which is not surprising given he’s a partisan who obviously holds a grudge against the former president. Two, the DOJ is asking the judge in the case to unseal the warrant, which may or may not tell us anything

If Donald Trump was going to run again, we assumed that the media would once again be the former president's largest pool of support, unwittingly, of course, with the nonstop negative coverage that would have only pushed more voters into his corner. Matt Taibbi noted that they're the "kingmakers of suck," arrogant, and more concerned with expounding on their moral superiority than covering the elections properly. Post-Russian collusion hoax, no one believes them, as evidenced by the appalling trust numbers the American public has given this industry over the past five or so years. That all ended last night.
