From CNN, a long. detailed article: Since at least 2017, federal officials have investigated Chinese land purchases near critical infrastructure, shut down a high-profile regional consulate believed by the US government to be a hotbed of Chinese spies and stonewalled what they saw as clear efforts to plant listening devices near sensitive military and government facilities.     Among the most alarming things the FBI uncovered pertains to Chinese-made Huawei equipment atop cell towers near US military bases in the rural Midwest. According to multiple sources familiar with the matter, the FBI determined the equipment was capable of capturing and disrupting highly restricted Defense Department communications, including those used by US Strategic Command, which oversees the country’s nuclear weapons. While broad concerns about Huawei equipment near US military installations have been well known, the existence of this investigation and its findings have never been reported. Its origins stretch back to at least the Obama administration. It was described to CNN by more than a dozen sources, including current https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/cnn-exclusive-fbi-investigation-determined-chinese-made-huawei-equipment-could-disrupt-us-nuclear-arsenal-communications/ar-AAZSJcr

We need a purge (bloody if necessary) from top to bottom to clean up this mess, nationalize all foreign properties, send all Chinese nationals back home, destroy all mosques, send Islamists back to their sandy hellholes, arrest all the democratic leadership for treason, ban Communism from government, education, and media. Trump Was Right more often than any President in my lifetime. And I have been around since FDR's second term. It will be up to honest historians to figure out why DJT, hated by the media, but still extremely successful, was treated as badly as Lincoln and Truman. But I will always believe that if DJT had hired a competent Human Resource Manager in the White House, he would have squelched much of the negativity surrounding his administration. And he would have avoided hiring traitors like the fat Ukranian Lt. Col. and Fiona Hill, the Soviet trained acolyte of George Soros and british coal miner's daughter.

A schism characterized by documents on “grace through separation” has brought forth a lawsuit. In Florida, 106 churches sued the United Methodist Church (UMC) because it charged them large amounts of money to leave, according to a recently filed lawsuit. The National Center for Life and Liberty (NCLL) represents these churches. The departure price varies from church to church, said Jonathan Bailie, the chief operations and financial officer of the NCLL. Some congregations must pay over $1 million, while others must pay under $100,000, he clarified. But in previous decades, leaving the UMC has been free.

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin once said the key element of his life was “timing … I have been blessed to have been in the right place at the right time.” It is the same defining element of Hunter Biden’s life: No matter what crime or corruption is alleged, he has escaped responsibility, often by pure political serendipity. Now, according to various media outlets, time may be running out for Hunter, with a federal investigation entering a “critical stage” — yet timing still could be on Hunter’s side. Hunter has always had impeccable timing and, like Blanche DuBois, “always depended on the kindness of strangers.”

n paper, it looked like a fantastic deal. In 2017, the Chinese government was offering to spend $100 million to build an ornate Chinese garden at the National Arboretum in Washington DC. Complete with temples, pavilions and a 70-foot white pagoda, the project thrilled local officials, who hoped it would attract thousands of tourists every year.       But when US counterintelligence officials began digging into the details, they found numerous red flags. The pagoda, they noted, would have been strategically placed on one of the highest points in Washington DC, just two miles from the US Capitol, a perfect spot for signals intelligence collection, multiple sources familiar with the episode told CNN.

Author Jeffrey Frank has written two biographies of American presidents, one about Harry S. Truman and another about the relationship between Dwight D. Eisenhower and his Vice President Richard Nixon. He draws on that knowledge of history to argue that President Biden is doing a poor job preparing VP Harris to succeed him. Vice President Kamala Harris, who was a first-term senator from California before entering the White House, hasn’t been given the sort of immersive experiences or sustained, high-profile tasks that would deepen and broaden her expertise in ways Americans could see and appreciate. In the modern era, of course, a 68-day trip for a vice president would be laughable.

Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin suggested that abortion bans in some states could actually violate religious beliefs in a column on Sunday. Rubin introduced the subject by referencing a lawsuit brought up by the Jewish Congregation L’Dor Va-Dor against the 15-week abortion ban in Florida. The congregation argued that Jewish law "does not consider life to begin at conception or at 15 weeks" and refusing an abortion could violate their beliefs. Though Rubin questioned whether this would sufficiently infringe on "First Amendment rights and the state constitution’s free-exercise clause," she still considered the issue "important."
