The Democrat Party is standing before the scaffold, ready to ascend to the gallows on energy policy. There’s a way to avoid the sentence, but it is expensive to their political prospects and to the American people.
They’ve got this coming, and they have only themselves to blame.
Under uniquely bipartisan pressure, Biden is considering whether or not to cease U.S. purchase of Russian oil —estimated at 22 million gallons a day. Political affiliation aside, his failure to do so in the face of Russian aggression in Ukraine could be the final straw in the minds of the U.S. citizenry across the spectrum. Ideologically and morally speaking,

The Dems are willing to make us dependent upon Russia, Iran and Venezuela. All of them are enemies. How stupid can you be? FJB shows us how.

Since I'm a mathematician and all Democrats are known to be born without the Math gene, I see it as my civic duty to point out some mathematical realities of their policies. In this case, consider the following. They want to continue buying about 22,000,000 gallons of Russian oil per day, at today's price of about $130 per gallon. That equals $2,860,000,000 per DAY that they want to continue sending to the Russians.
I haven't seen any estimates yet on how much the sanctions are supposedly costing the Russians, but it is difficult to see it reaching anywhere near $2,860,000,000 a DAY.
Some enterprising reporter may wish to ask Ms. Psaki or President Biden himself (or whoever is acting as President Biden today) if that reality has any chance of forcing Putin and the Russians to change their behavior.

Since they control the government they are taking us with them. Take back the House and Senate but don’t bet on the Republicans to force Biden’s hands.

The Trap is not shutting off Russian Oil to the United States. The Real Trap is WHERE Biden and his Monkeys go buy Oil for US use! If they get it from the Saudis or Venezuela or worse Iran THE DEMOCRAT party will pay a Huge price in November. And they know it! The American People DEMAND Biden to OPEN our own oil and Gas. We need to be Energy Independent before the next Big Challenge hits our Country. The VOTERS won't stand for anything less! So lets see exactly WHO is willing go walk to the Political Gallows and let that TRAP door bounce open!

FYI #3, the 22 Mm figure in the article befuddled me until i realized the writer is saying gallons not barrels. There are 55 gallons in a barrel I believe. Oil is $130 a barrel. I don’t know why the writer used gallons unless he just wanted a bigger number. Everyone talks in barrels so why he converted to gallons- not quarts or pints- is curious.
I think that what is happening- hopefully in time and in sufficient amount- is that it is being illuminated that EVERYTHING the dims do is contrary to the peoples’ welfare, and current events are putting that in bas relief.
I do not expect The Gullibles to see.

We don't need to buy any freaking oil from anyone.
Under Trump we were exporting oil .
Now Biden has the price up and Russia is raking in our dollars
The democrats spent 4 years accusing Trump of collaborating with the Russians.
NOW___WHO IS COLLABORATIUNG WITH THE RUSSIANS?
Biden and his idiot friends in the house and Senate have started this Green Crap, 20 years ahead of the technology to make it successful, and Americans are paying for their stupid mistake/ 3 more years of this and we will all be paupers and walking instead of driving.
All the idiot has to do is admit his mistake and go back to drilling.
I remember when Hussein Obama said we couldn't drill our way out of the problem.
Trump proved him wrong, we DID drill our way out of it and we can do it again if the Democrats Get the F out of the way.

Any deviation from the Road to the Green New Deal is considered a derailing defeat to the ideologues in the Dem Party (Sanders and the Squad especially)..
They MUST plow ahead even if their actions drive us into a depression.
Actually, we should be glad they are so stupidly committed to their "climate crisis" claims because their stupidity gives us a chance to eject more democrats out of the House and Senate than ever has been done in the past.
Trouble is - the Republicans are mostly squishes who really aren't all that Conservative to begin with and cannot be trusted to right our economic ship. Too bad we don't have a Ronald Reagan today.

Joe effing up again, as we were warned about by Obama. He did Afghanistan backwards against the advise of the military advisors, and he's getting rid of fossil fuels now and go to windmill and solar when they're might be ready, in 50 years or so. Dumbest person/president ever.

November isn't soon enough. Time to recall every single one of them and get them out of office now! We can't wait until then, they have done too much damage already.

A single barrel of crude oil is equivalent to 42 gallons. On average, refineries can convert a single 42-gallon barrel of oil into either 12 gallons of diesel fuel, 4 gallons of jet fuel or 19 gallons of gasoline.

Who the heck is listening to the boorish, loud mouthed, dumber than a brick 'squad'??? The stupid broad called AOC supposedly studied economics but does not understand a thing about economics like the rest of them? Send them back where they came from. Since when does a small group of idiots outweigh an entire country? Or is it that they want to protect 'their God', Putin? I guess they want the Ukrainians to loose their country because only they, the rotten squad, can decide. Don't tell me about 'green' energy and that hideous drip Kerry, aka, lurch again. There is a war raging, lurch is on his private plane having his hair dyed another strange pattern, but he cares that we should live in mud huts to satisfy his green garbage! Hang them all!
