Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) said Tuesday on CNN’s “OutFront” that Republican lawmakers were “complicit” in all the mass shootings that take place in the United States, given their opposition to gun legislation.Blumenthal said, “In Boulder, that shooter is a deeply disturbed man who became a mass killer because he had an assault weapon that can kill people with the efficiency and speed meant for the battlefield. So guns make all these problems more fatally and deadly, especially for domestic violence victims who then can be killed, five times more likely to be killed in those situations.

In what amounts to being more about respect than required actions, Vice President Kamala Harris is getting plenty of scrutiny for not saluting the military honor guard when boarding or disembarking Air Force Two.To be sure, there is no specific regulation that calls on the president or vice president to salute military personnel, but it has become a modern tradition for the president to salute the honor guard stationed at the steps for Marine One and Air Force One.A tradition that was started by Ronald Reagan, as a sign of respect.Making matters worse for Harris,

The mainstream media is made up of biased hacks. I know, hardly groundbreaking, but this montage put out by our friends over at the Media Research Center is worth the watch for its sheer entertainment value alone. I mean, it takes real skill to lack this much shame, as you’ll see in a second. The setup is that the border has deteriorated to unseen levels, with over ten thousand illegal alien children now in custody. Meanwhile, the general surge at the border is also at historic levels. The Biden administration is not prepared, and their policies and rhetoric caused a dangerous humanitarian crisis that didn’t need to happen.

The first test of a project backed to spray millions of tonnes of chalk into the stratosphere, in an attempt to 'dim the sun' and cool the Earth, could happen in June.
Harvard University experts will test the system by sending a large balloon 12 miles above the Swedish town of Kiruna and have it drop 2kg of chalk dust into the stratosphere.
The aim of the estimated $3 million mission, backed by billionaire Bill Gates, is to have the chalk deflect a portion of the sun's radiation, stop it from hitting the surface, and cool the planet.
The idea has been heavily criticised since its inception...

Mayorkas' assignment was to make a simple -- and false -- declaration. "The border is closed," he told ABC's "This Week." "The border is closed," he told NBC's "Meet the Press." "The border is closed," he told "Fox News Sunday."
It was a preposterous statement. Everyone knows the Biden administration is struggling to find places to accommodate the more than 15,000 unaccompanied minors who have crossed the border illegally in the last few weeks.

Joe Biden boasted last fall from his basement that he had the best “voter fraud organization” in the country. We thought it was one of his typical malapropisms, but it turns out, he may not have been kidding around.Beginning last year, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook joined with Google and other high-tech companies and NGOs to grant hundreds of millions of dollars to fund already taxpayer-funded elections across the country, with the express purpose of defeating Donald Trump. A public-interest law group says those dollars were used to take over election offices and use local government apparatus to turn out Democrat voters to get rid of Trump.

The suspect who has been detained in Monday's mass shooting in Boulder, Colo. has been identified as Ahmad Alissa. The media didn’t wait for the facts when it came to the state of emergency issued by the city of Miami Beach, Florida. They would like you to believe it was a COVID-19 issue, with everyone from CNN to VOX slapping the big red panic button on the “DeSantis-presented” super spreader event. It wasn’t that at all. The city issued curfews and issued a state of emergency because, as one Twitter thread thoroughly shows you, the young crowds had gotten so rowdy and violent that authorities had to shut it down. Why can’t the media just say that? As you’ll see, it’s because the crowd that was primarily causing the problems

South Dakota Republican Gov. Kristi Noem said Monday she'll sign a state legislature bill that would ban transgender athletes from competing in women's sports – after creating a conservative uproar last week by vetoing the measure. Noem, considered a top potential 2024 presidential candidate, said at a press conference that she'll sign the bill after legislators make what she considers minor changes – limiting the ban to high school and elementary schools for male athletes who identify as female athletes.

The photos show crowded quarters, including children sleeping shoulder-to-shoulder on mats on the floor with aluminum blankets and on benches. Another photo shows dozens of children in a transparent pen similar to a cage.

New Jersey residents likely will not see any new reopening announcements in the coming weeks as the state battles a surge in COVID-19 variants, Gov. Phil Murphy said Monday. The governor, speaking on CNN, said any further reopenings or capacity increases are on pause in the Garden State because of the increase in virus variants. “We’ve got these variants: whether they be Brazil, South Africa, UK, New York City, whatever it might be – they’re in New Jersey,” Murphy said. “We’re the densest state in America, we’re in the densest region in America. A bigot overheard making fun of Asians in Flushing, Queens, flipped out when he realized he was being recorded by a bystander and smacked the cellphone out of the man’s hands, police said Tuesday. America's worst adversaries are mocking, trolling and rebuffing the Joe Biden administration. In so doing, they would seem to be delivering a clear message: They neither fear nor respect America under President Joe Biden's leadership. Consider what has transpired over just the last week, barely two months into Biden's tenure. During the first day of a highly anticipated meeting in Anchorage, Alaska, with the world watching, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) brass responded to criticism of China's human rights violations from Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan by shoving anti-American agitprop back into the faces of

Nearly a year ago, after COVID hit us hard, I spent my endless at-home time online, looking at whatever I could find on pandemics. I found one treatise on possible methods of dealing with a pandemic. One method was presented as a cautionary tale about how not to treat a pandemic – and naturally, it was a template for 2020’s treatment protocols (snip) It then describes a world with national leaders imposing draconian rules and restrictions, from face masks to temperature checks. “Even after the pandemic faded, this more authoritarian control and oversight of citizens and their activities stuck and even intensified

The American Left and its wholly owned subsidiary, the Democrat party, has declared war on America by openly and ruthlessly attacking American society, its norms and foundational principles. While they previously had been somewhat restrained in their efforts to transform the nation, any pretense of subtlety has now been abandoned. Consequently, their asinine and self-indulgent theories and totalitarian tactics are on display for all to see. Yet this coterie of the credulous does not grasp the irrational absurdity of many of their cultural and societal pronouncements.

On Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “All In,” Sen. The southern border is now being hit with a huge wave of unaccompanied children, the wholly predictable consequence of Joe Biden’s foolish open-border immigration policies. Once again, photos show “kids in cages.” But this time, the Big Media are mostly silent, or making excuses, as are the Democrats who helped create this inhumane mess.
On Monday, as the crisis worsened and criticisms grew, Biden imposed a “lid” on the White House and, by extension, media coverage of the border disaster. Not without reason. Flustered White House spokesperson Jen Psaki was unable to answer a few simple, but direct, questions from

Barron Trump rang in his 15th birthday over the weekend with social media tributes from his mother Melania and half-sister Tiffany, who shared a sweet throwback photo of them together. Since leaving the White House in January, the teen has been living with his parents at their Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, which is partly closed due to a COVID-19 outbreak last week. It's unclear how Melania, 50, and her husband, former President Donald Trump, 74, celebrated their son's big day, but she made sure to give him a shout-out on social media.

After Joe Biden was installed in the White House in January, he immediately began to lay waste to dozens of Trump-era policies that put America first. One of the effective policies he axed was Trump’s “remain in Mexico” policy, which required migrants seeking asylum in the U.S. to remain in Mexico while their asylum claims were processed. Now, just two months later, Biden is realizing how badly he screwed up.While quickly speaking to reporters on Sunday, Biden said he would “re-establish what existed before”, which was this exact “Remain In Mexico” policy that worked so well under Trump.

This year has been a tremendously difficult year. Covid-19 was – and remains – scary and awful.
For so many New Yorkers, what has also been awful over the last year has been watching the destruction of New York City – undoubtedly in large part because of a pair of egomaniac buffoons: Mayor Bill De Blasio and Governor Andrew Cuomo.
New York City is a fragment of itself – abandoned stores and empty streets. The city that used to never sleep is in a slumber.

Democrats fight for the people. And by the people, they mean the oppressed and downtrodden working classes of the swamp. [SNIP] "Rice, who is among the wealthiest members of the Biden White House team, dramatically increased her wealth since her previous White House job during the Obama administration, reporting between $36 million and $149 million in various assets in her new disclosure filing released Saturday morning. Here's a snapshot of why these violent assaults keep happening. And why they're happening so often in California and New York, in areas where crime has essentially been legalized. The upsurge in store robberies in California was driven by pro-crime measures that essentially legalized shoplifting.
Now the Democrats want to all but legalize robbery. "A bill proposed by an East Bay Senator with the intent to revise the penal code is getting a lot of attention, as critics say it would essentially re-classify violent robberies to misdemeanor petty thefts. This has sparked outrage from members of the Asian American community."

In 1964, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its decision in the case of Sullivan v. the New York Times, a landmark opinion regarding libel law and a gift to irresponsible and inaccurate journalists across the land. Issued during the civil-rights era—a time when many constitutional protections were unthinkingly tossed aside in the name of a higher good—Sullivan essentially gave carte blanche for media companies to attack public figures with legal impunity.
The case began in 1960 when the Times ran an ad from supporters of Martin Luther King, Jr. requesting donations to help the civil-rights leader.

While the last election is still fresh in the minds of most Americans, the next one is going to become an issue a lot sooner than most people think.
Republicans are poised to retake the House due to redistricting alone. That and the historical fact that the first midterm for a newly minted president is almost always a bloodbath has Democrats dreading what looks to be coming. That’s why you see such a push to get rid of the filibuster now. Democrats know they are on borrowed time, and they want to push through what they can now.
