President Biden has united Republicans with his oil-and-gas crackdown — they’re against it — but his aggressive orders have created a bind for Democratic governors in states feeling the heat over his drilling freeze on federal lands and waters.
In Colorado, Democratic Gov. Jared Polis praised Mr. Biden as “a president that believes in science” and “cleaner energy” while making it clear that the moratorium on new oil-and-gas leases on federal lands and waters signed Wednesday cannot last forever.
“We will also work closely with the Biden administration as they begin a program-wide review of energy development policy on public lands to ensure that it works for Colorado,”

Biden told western governors and everyone else what he was going to do and they voted for him anyway. Was the toxic hate for Pres. Trump worth the loss of millions of jobs, higher fuel prices and goodwill with Canada? It has just started and will get worse. Wait until the borders and towns are flooded with illegal aliens who need food, housing and medical care. Not to mention the ones who are criminals preying on innocent citizens. What a guy, 10 percent Joe.

Biden doesn't know a thing about science. He's a certified ignoramus and a clear and present danger to the people of this country, especially NM.
This ban on oil and gas leasing will destroy the little economy we have here. People in the state are already reeling from the hyper lockdown restrictions dictated by the Governor. The Permian Basin is one of the best assets we have in NM. It helps provide thousands of jobs to growing families and billions of dollars into the NM treasury to support building new schools, and other communities needs.
I just read an ad sponsored by our newly elected Democrat Senator Ben Ray Lujan who is against the ban and is coming out to support the people of NM. Kudos to Ben! I accept his stand against it as a positive move. He gets one gold star for that. The other Democrat Senator is a useless back-bencher that needs to be replaced.
This move by Biden is irresponsible on so many levels. We all know that he's following orders from the middle East. I guess they are more important than us taxpayers.
Folks, we have to face the facts that we have a bad situation with our dummy potus and then we have Chuck U Schumer in the Senate.
Pray.

#1 is correct. Biden told everyone EXACTLY what he was going to do - and they voted for him anyway! Now, the people who were his loudest supporters, the bozos in the education establishment, are going to get what they voted for, good and hard.
Embrace the suck, morons.

Turn off the natural gas valve in Kansas and Texas on the pipelines going back to DC, NYC and the northeast. That will get their attention.

The Republic of Texas approaches.
Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, S Dakota, N Dakota, Montana, Alberta (Canada), Saskatchewan (Canada), Manitoba (Canada), and a few states along the sides. Let's go EAST. Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida.
We have every warm water shipping port in The Gulf of Mexico and more oil than the Saudis ever dreamed of. California and New York can print their own money.
We WILL protect our borders ,north and south.
If you're coming to visit Texas bring your US passport with the pre-approved visitor's visa.
