Petulant propagandists, disguised as journalists, have a new talking point. President Trump was asleep at the wheel earlier this year, eating Big Macs, sipping covfefe, watching Fox and Friends, totally missing the boat on the Chinese Coronavirus outbreak. Their new narrative is that Trump could have and should have acted sooner and if he had, all would be normal in the world. This is the latest chapter in the book of Orange Man Bad, previous chapters including the Ukraine phone call, Russian collusion, Mueller, Stormy, Avenatti, Omarosa, and Manafort, just to name a few. Say what you want about the Fake News media, but they are persistent and determined,

"Suppose Trump Had Acted Earlier Against the Wuhan Virus?"
Not so fast. If governors are now insisting on authority in re-opening state economies, I will gladly rework this question. I will also change the wording on this question if blame is continued to be directed at President Trump. Here it is:

This is an election year--
Every possible strategy to ruin the economy is being used to take down the President, even if is causes the ruination of the country and takes the people down with it.
How many of the family businesses are going to go down that are the hopes and dreams of people who have suffered and worked and given THEIR LIVES and their financial security to create all because of the PETULANT Nasty Piglosi??
The critical issue to this Corona Virus issue is that there can be a VERY LARGE number of people who appear ASYMPTOMATIC for a long period of time and that there are varying degrees of illness realized.
How about we get to the real root of dealing with this and say that we should ALL be working together to fix this and leave the politics OUT of this. Playing the blame game and doing things which will not make things better is not helping.

As Jessie Waters said, "The dems are saying that Trump did not act soon enough in shutting down the country to stop the virus NOW they say he can't act alone to start it again". Dems are idiots.

I am thankful that Trump didn't act earlier and that we were able to live normal lives until March 17 or so.

The President clearly did not act soon enough, and this lack of action has bedeviled his administration for 3+ years. If Trump’s meek AG, Jeff Sessions, and his snail like current AG, Barr, had brought criminal charges and convictions against Obama, Clinton, Brennan, Clapper, Comey and the other coup plotters and bribe takers in 2017-19, the Dems and their bootlick media allies would be on the defensive. All of the Dem/media talking points about Russia, Ukraine and the most frequent, Trump lies, would be meaningless. Instead, the enormous legal vacuum created by not prosecuting Obama and his thugs has eroded the President’s stature.
The fact that Barry Coup d’tat Obama endorsed Joe Burisma Biden this week should never have happened If we actually had equal justice under the law. The President acted far too slowly, not on the Wuhan virus but on enforcing our laws against the stunningly lawless Obama regime.

#5, you hit it right between the eyeballs. Excellent take! President Trump should know better than anyone that time kills deals. He as let way too much daylight get between the criminal acts of the Deep State and justice and we are paying the price. I still support the President but I am afraid the President is having his Atlantic City casino moment.

I wish President Trump would have acted sooner, just because it would have earned him high praise (cough!) from his political opponents.

Every year the new strains of the flu are introduced and used to explain why people wasted their time and money on obsolete flu shots. This year was no different. While Donald Trump was contemplating whether to shut down the country, the democrats were preparing a lawsuit against him for being "racist" for stopping airline travel from China. He could just as easily claim that democrats delayed his decision but he is not as petty as Pelosi and her Flying Monkeys are. Travelers from China carrying the virus were clearly here in December and possibly earlier, nobody knows except them. The bug would have spread around New York, California and Seattle with roughly the same timing. For the real reason for democrat's desperate outrage, see post #2.

The media and governors still don't get it. It is the GOVERNORS who are the first responders to something like this, not the Feds. The Feds are the back up, but the state governors are the first responders legally. They all really are idiots.
