As the Democrat impeachment farce concluded its meltdown in the House Intelligence Committee this week, it’s clear Representative Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and company think we’re idiots.
Schiff claims he doesn’t know the identity of the political-operative-masquerading-as-a-“whistleblower” while other Democrats insist that hearsay is sometimes more relevant than first-hand accounts. (Ponder that one in the context of proposed red-flag gun laws. Who in his right mind would ever give these people the power over their natural rights?)
All the while, witness after witness made it clear there was no quid pro quo, no bribery, no nothing of anything at all. Just a lot of discomfort with President Trump’s departure from the “interagency consensus.”

During the Obama Administration, the Dems shifted from focusing on long ball -- winning elections with illegal alien votes and brainwashing the next generation by dominating the public school system -- to extremely short-sighted, boomerang throwing -- lowering standards for passing legislation, lowering standards for appointing judges, and now, lowering standards for impeaching Presidents. We wouldn't have Kavanaugh but-for Harry Reid. I have the feeling that in 2026 or 2027 we'll be saying we wouldn't have been able to impeach Chelsea but-for Schiff.

If democrats ever get control of the White House and congress again, they'll make darn sure republicans never "call the tune" again. Take a look at California which is effectively a one party state in large part because illegal aliens are voting or have their votes harvested (see Orange County in the last mid terms). The democrats got cute passing Obamacare in the middle of the night on Christmas eve. What they should have done is pass mass amnesty. Had they done that - and what they will do if in power again if they're smart - they'd create a voting block that the Bernie Sanders and AOCs and Warrens of the world will never be able to overcome by any opposition. For example, the largest national protest in US history occurred in '06 when amnesty almost passed. Millions of illegals joined the protests. Had those millions been granted amnesty, they'd be legally voting today. "Quantity has a quality all its own". J. Stalin.

Exactly. This is why the House is never going to send this inquiry to the Senate.

“ What if McConnell, unlike Schiff, allows the Trump team to call any and all witnesses in their defense? According to Senate rules, that’s entirely possible. Among the potential names on the list: James Comey, James Clapper, John Brennan, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Glenn Simpson, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, the “whistleblower,” members of the media who were complicit in advancing the Russia-collusion conspiracy fairytale, and dozens of others.“
Ned forgot the biggest name of all - Barack 0bama. After all, according to a text by Lisa Page, “POTUS wants us to keep him up to date on what is going on.” That name alone should stop the demonrats in their tracks from even considering voting for impeachment.

May? The only way that the democrats come out of their impeachment hysteria still alive is if the Republicans do exactly what they have done to defend themselves and their party since 2008, NOTHING. I wish I had more confidence in them.

Love the fact that "gutless" and "Thom Tillis" appear in the same sentence.

Also, there is an article about the possibility that Supreme Court Justice Roberts may have to step down if it goes to a senate trial. The Chief Justice presides in a Senate trial, unless connected in one of several ways to the case. Roberts is connected, so who would step up? Clarence Thomas!

The writer is correct in his analysis but for one thing: Democrats never regret anything. They lie, obfuscate and change the rules. The media goes along with them.

My great fear in such an event is that I'll run outta popcorn & jerky.
Fortunately I got Papa Johns gift cards for my birthday:)

If the senate would stop dithering, maybe.
