No ratings are yet available for CNN’s 7-hour climate hysteria town hall, but it is hard to believe that a lot of people watched. Masochists are not a huge demographic slice of the population, and as for the true believers, well, it does burn a lot of electricity to spend 7 hours in front of the boob tube. My guess is that CNN had even fewer viewers than usual for its evening. So, who on earth would buy commercials during such a broadcast? Did CNN offer really deep discounts? If one were going to predict which segments of the population would be least attracted to hour upon hour

On Tuesday, Walmart made a grandstanding announcement signaling a change in its policy on the sales of certain ammunition and legal open carry in it stores. This was a change the company originally said it was not going to make. On Monday night, my managing editor made an excellent point in response to Townhall's Guy Benson, who had earlier made an excellent point of his own. This, all day long. @Walmart needs to do some serious soul-searching and perhaps some market research to understand who their customers are. https://t.co/KLa7telz7y — Paula Bolyard (@pbolyard) September 4, 2019 Walmart executives are no doubt

In 2017, Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) accused President Trump of showing “a disdain for an independent judiciary that doesn’t always bend to his wishes” after Trump criticized a judge who ruled against his administration. Senate Democrats, by contrast, have launched an unprecedented attempt to actually bend the Supreme Court to their wishes — threatening to restructure the court if the justices do not rule as they see fit. The threat came over the Supreme Court’s decision to hear a challenge to New York City’s restrictions on how gun owners who have residential permits can transport their guns. In a legal brief, Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI),

Bahamas Health Minister Duane Sands said Wednesday that the death toll for Hurricane Dorian had risen from seven to 20 and more deaths were expected as the storm clears the island archipelago and threatens to make landfall in the U.S. later this week. Sands confirmed that 17 victims were from the Abaco islands and three were from Grand Bahama, adding that three of the victims died after being transported to a hospital in nearby New Providence. Details about the victims were scarce as the government continued to contact family members, Sands said.

"When they go low, we go high," said Michelle Obama at the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Going high evidently includes a trademark fight. On Aug. 20, Barack and Michelle Obama's Higher Ground Productions made a move to save its name. That day, the company went to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and demanded cancellation of someone else's earlier trademark registration for "Higher Ground Enterprises." Higher Ground Enterprises is run by Hanisya Massey, who, according to her attorney Larry Zerner, is in the business of helping authors publish e-books. Her trademark is in Class 41, which includes entertainment services. Zerner says Massey has been using "Higher Ground" since 2008. Naturally, as the Obamas came

RUSH: “Local Effort To Boycott Businesses Owned By Trump Supporters Brings Strong Response From GOP.” This is in Pittsburgh, home of the Steelers. Now, what happened here, it’s local social media. This is a Pittsburgh version of Julian Castro and trying to dox Trump donors. This is a microcosm of what the Chinese government is doing to its population with social scoring. (Snip) What do you call people that behave like fascists? What do you call people who do not tolerate different opinions, political or otherwise? The nicest word I can think of is “Democrat.”
