A "Straight Pride" parade in downtown Boston has attracted counterprotesters and a heavy police presence.
A large number of counterprotesters taunted marchers and chanted: "Alt right, get off our streets, no justice, no peace."
Counterprotesters outnumbered the parade participants, CNN affiliate WCVB reported. Boston's mayor also condemned the parade, and encouraged residents to attend block parties and other events that celebrated the city.
Thirty-four people were arrested at the parade, said Boston Police Officer James Moccia, a department spokesman.
Four officers also suffered non-life threatening injuries, he said.
The parade started around noon at Copley Square and moved down Boylston and Tremont streets, ending at City Hall Plaza.

"Counter protesters outnumbered the parade participants."
Of course they did, CNN? In your leftist world, the sexual deviants are the arbiters of what's right, their view is dominant in society, and God agrees. Debauchery rules! Oh happy day!

Oh! There is so much that can be said about this. 1) In Boston? That's a shock to begin with. 2) What is hateful about it. If this were hateful then Gay Pride parades are as well. 3) Since it did not mention who got arrested that means the people arrested were probably all anti-protesters. 4) Since it was not mentioned most if not all the injured people were parade participants. 5) "Support our troops" and "Build the wall and crime will fall." were pro military and pro Trump rather than just support our troops as we should be doing and just pro having a border that is protected as is should be.
Yeh, this was very hateful. (Sarcasm)

Crazy people apparently don't like it when normal people want to do the very same things they get to do. Drives them even crazier.

I cannot imagine why there were protests. Why can't those who promote a Gay Pride Parade (including the Mayor of that fine city) feel the need to protest a Straight Pride Parade, and then start using the word "hate" in their speech (such an overused word - instead call it equal-time - that's all).
It reminds me of the people who cause a kerfuffle because their fries were cold. So stupid.

What's the problem? They didn't wear jockstraps and purple boas in public for the shock value so they were considered hateful. less than 1% of the country is queer but the can sway a large swath of the country. I don't understand it.

The picture shows some attendees covering their faces. People do that when they want to cause harm but not be identified.

This type of leftist behavior is now expected. Very soon Macy's parade will be banned because of racist cartoon characters and high school bands will be declared "too white." This madness will not stop by itself, Americans must fight back.

Fta: "Milo Yiannopoulos, a right-wing political commentator and writer, was the grand marshal."
For some strange reason, the article failed to mention that the 'grand marshal', Milo Yiannopoulos, is an outspoken gay man.

That's a lot of 'fruit salad' the Straight Pride Paraders had to contend with.

Oh the irony. I don't supposed it ever occurred to the counter protesters that celebrating one's sexuality is a one way street. My God. What idiots.

Is it not strange that 3-5% of the population demand special rights while wanting to deny equal rights to the rest of us. What is even stranger is the politicians that back their position.

Several weeks ago I heard some talk on Boston radio (WRKO 680AM) about maybe having such an event. Then, never heard more, until late Friday night when a news-clip mentioned that there could be increased traffic in and around Boston due to this march.
So, once again, some group on the "right" could not seem to publicize their event, and yet, the Left --always on the alert for someone to attack-- were well prepared.
I don't see what there is to be proud about when it comes to how or with whom you have sex! Kinda silly, actually. More to be proud about is how one faces challenges, obstacles, and the haranguing mobs of hatred-spewing leftist mobs, whether one lives as responsibly as possible in a world where lies and deception and clever criminality seem to get rewarded.

See how this works? Gay pride parades are fine, but if you cop to being normal, you are not allowed to have your parade.
